Great teaching lesson, finally a video slow enough to follow. Thank you!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
I just came across this a couple of days ago and today I thought I would give it a try. It didn't come out too bad. The biggest thing I noticed is keeping the tension tight and not letting it get too loose. Other than that, I found the process very doable. Thank you so much for your time making this video. If I can figure out how to post a pic of it I will.
Thank you for watching and for trying it out😊.

That's good to know; thank you for sharing!
This is so cool ❤️ Thank you for sharing this technique! I own both ADDI sizes. My hubby got them for me for Christmas but haven’t tried them yet. I’m a crocheter. I tried to learn how to knit but I couldn’t get it right 😬🤣 My husband knew what I needed; I guess 😜 I’ll keep watching beginner tutorials to learn then I will put the ADDI to the test. Wait… the Addi or me to the test?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Mahalo 🌺
Nice presents you got there! Watch some videos from this playlist th-cam.com/play/PLToH6jnQr1xA7S7qSk-MPEo4mytH24Wrl.html to know what to do when you make mistakes; then start knitting while you watch (you can pause anytime 😊).

I'm sure that you will love your new Addi! (you got it for a good price considering that we are in Canada). Sorry to hear about your husband. Keeping you busy crocheting and knitting is a good idea.
I need to see from the beginning especially the color chsnges
Can I do the same work on headband Thank you for teaching me this method you are a treasure to me😊😊😊😊
Yes, you can use this technique for headbands. 😊🤗
Wow
Thank you for watching!
Alina got to try this yet learn on my other one SENTRO
Glad to hear that!
I absolutely love this. I purchased the pattern to be able to do different sizes, but after row 76 of the adult size I messed up, so I'm going to try again!
Don't give up, you can do it! 😊
How do I purchase the pattern?
I will be trying this pattern immediately!
I'm curious how when you use the drill, you don't drop stitches or get weird doubled-up stitches. I'm struggling with them and I'm manually turning at a medium pace. If I want be certain the stitches will be perfect, I have to watch every single stitch get placed.
I don't use a drill, I use an electric screw driver because it is not so fast as a drill. Anyway, I can't use it all the time because some yarns split and give me lots of tucked stitches. Usually I knit around 10 rounds without the screw driver and then I try to see if i can crank with the screw driver. It helps if I put weights on the tube like in this video th-cam.com/video/-uTNGfVW0m4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hLYMa6NoXUww2nlZ (here you can see the weight even though I didn't use the screw driver).
That is so cool! Do you find you get more dropped stitches using the drill?
There are times when I don't have any dropped stitches, but there are times when I can't use it because I have too many dropped stitches. So depends on every skein of yarn.
Very nice clip! Thank You! Where did you get the add-on for the power tool? Thanks
The adapter I bought it from www.etsy.com/shop/MakersParts
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Sooooo lovely!! ❤ Can you please tell me, where the counter ist from? 🙈
It's from Amazon amzn.to/3MwheDt
Me encantan tus modelos. Podrías decirme cuántos gramos de lana utilizar para un gorro de adulto? Muchas gracias
Para un gorro de adulto necesitas aproximadamente 100 gr. Si haces un sombrero de ala, necesitarás más hilo.
Good Morning. does the 40 needle machine make adult caps? I'm loving your videos. Thanks. (Brasil)
With 40 needles you can make newborn and baby hats. There is a way to make adult hats like in this video (here I used 22 needles, but with 40 needles you need to knit just 2 tubes for an adult hat ) th-cam.com/video/DyYuABspB-Y/w-d-xo.html
Yours is the first hat I have seen how to make with my Addi. Can you tell me where to purchase other patterns?
You can find my patterns here www.etsy.com/ca/shop/AlinaHera?section_id=31043499
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the video. That was helpful. What was the bright multicolored yarn that you used on the black hats?
The yarn is Loops & Threads, Soft & Shiny in color Party (I purchased it from Michaels Canada).
@@AlinaHeraDesigns Thanks.
Do you make beanies with scrap yarn at the beginning and the end? My sentro drops stitches for rows 3-6 every time. I use red heart 4 Weight yarn medium tension. Love your beautiful work, thanks for sharing!
I use scrap yarn just when I want to make a ponytail hat, or a cat/fox hat. If your machine drops stitches, I recommend to go slowly for those rounds and help the stitches as in this video from minute 6 th-cam.com/video/i1XQsmuLyN4/w-d-xo.html ; or if the yarn doesn't work well, try running it through a dryer sheet or over a silicone ear plug first. ( I received this recommendation in one of the comments. I have to try this as well! ).
Ruth try using I Love This Yarn at Hobby Lobby! It’s soft and works well in the machines.
Great instructional video. So if you buy one machine, you can only make one size?
With one machine you can make different sizes. If you have a knitting machine with 46, or 48 needles then you can make different sizes. The "secret" to get a smaller circumference for the baby hat vs the adult hat is in the tension. Run the yarn through the smaller hole of the tension fork (closest to the machine). If the yarn is too thick and it doesn't go through the tension fork, then run the yarn through your hand keeping a tight tension.
If your machine has 40 needles, then you can make baby hats using the medium tension, or the one that is best for your yarn. If you want to make an adult hat, then you have to knit 3 tubes and seam them with Mattress Stitch like in this video (this is an adult hat made with 22 needles, but the assembly is the same) th-cam.com/video/DyYuABspB-Y/w-d-xo.html
If you have knitting machine with 22 needles, then you need 3 tubes for a baby hat and 5 tubes for an adult hat. Here is another tutorial for a baby hat th-cam.com/video/J9eSRsWxPQA/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much 💓
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
loved your video, my first time watching you.
Was it difficult to install the row counter?
Thanks in advance ♥
Thank you for watching! No, it wasn't difficult. One day I will make a video on how to install it.
Very beautiful pattern. Plz tell how we add this count meter with machine? This meter is not available with mine.
Thanks
I purchased the counter from here amzn.to/3eE40q2 . Sorry, I don't have a video on how I glue it to the machine.
@@AlinaHeraDesigns thanks
discovered this video by chance. It's great. Can you tell me how many more rounds I need to do for the children's hat and the large hat? Many thanks
