Original Winter Waffle Pattern Beanie Tutorial | Addi 46 and Sentro 48 Circular knitting machines

- My newest pattern tutorial for your Addi's & Sentro's.
This is my original WAFFLE pattern which has been copied since even using the waffle name.
But this is the original one..... by me....... Crafty Caz lol
You know what Oscar Wilde said...“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
I'll let you look up the last part of the quote 'cos I'm not sure that applies to me haha
Please tag me if you make it, one so I can see your version and two so that others can pop in and partake of it as well.
Anyway I hope you like it it's a 6 row pattern repeat which gives a subtle yet decorative design for minimal effort.
For this adlt sized beanie pattern I cast on and knitted 4 rows plain.
36 rows of the Winter Waffle Pattern.
80 rows for the brim and the liner.
You can adjust the amount of pattern and brim/liner rows to make for different sizes.
I noticed on playback a couple of tucked stitches on my patterned part!!!
Ooops, it doesn't appear to show on the finished beanie though thank goodness.

The yarn is a James Brett. It's called Rustic aran tweed and the shade is DAT1. Thanks for the patterns and clear instructions.

Rewatched your pattern so many times, this is amazing by the way love the pattern and instructions, and only just realised that there are different brands of circular knitting machines 😆😆😆 Have so much wool to get through & making beanies for food vans to hand out before winter and so happy there are patterns to follow for more than a basic beanie ❤❤❤

Doing three rows between makes anvery pretty frilly beanie, put a nice satin liner inside for kinky hair. Its wonderful. Thank you ^_^ Very nice.

Ohhh my god!, how beautiful are these hats, I saw this machine for first time some days ago and I need it yer or yes, I've always been negated to crochet, knitting and these kind of thigs, but I love scarfs in winter, so I'm already done with my Christmas purchases but next year, at some very near point, I'm going to buy this curious and funny thing for sure. Aww this is lush....can't wait to try it later might have a few "holy dragon" along the way tho lol....I put a cheap plastic waste bin between my feet with my ball of wool in....makes life so much easier....and I think your yarn is patons.....I'm sure I've used it before ....thank you for this pattern ❤

I think the cord you used for the Pom Pom is either upholstery thread or maybe kite line. Only received my sentry today (Monday the 12th of feb 2024) and this is the best tutorial I have seen. Thank you for helping me start my knitting machine journey. X

Hi. Thanks for the tutorial. Yarn could be Sirdar Snuggly in colour Rainbow Drops. I used that to make a baby snow suit and it looks very similar and it was a lovely yarn to work with. I'm very late to the comments so you have probably already found it but just in case.
just found your channel and am a new addi owner--so Im going to be trying your hat.. Loves the design..Here in the states we have a Brand called Loops and Thread--Flecks yarn. Or the other yarns are Hobbi - Tweed Dreams. These are Very close to the one you were working with on your video..Hopes this helps..Loves your channel...

Hi Stella, I started out with the Sentro 48 and I still have it. The extra 2 pins are a bonus definitely, but it doesn't have the build quality of the Addi. It is def a good place to start though. I chose the Sentro as I wasn't sure whether I'd "take" to it. Which ever you choose have fun. All the best Caz
