Great review, I just fitted the same. Used the hardwire kit, which took a bit longer to work out. Please with the quality so far. My in laws had a bump recently, guy was drunk and didn't want to go through insurance blah blah blah, they ended up out of pocket! Call for action
So does it constantly record and simply record over old data if not saved? Or does it just have a pre record which triggers when you hit record? I'm confused
Great review, looking to buy a new cam for our other car. 4K /60fps would be nicer but can accept 4K/ 30 😉 Question. Can all the audio prompts be disabled such as the speed camera warnings, AI, fatigue warnings etc. I would very quickly find those to be very irritating.
@@JamesTravis ooh another question. Looking at them on Amazon, none of them are marketed as the S1 Ultra. Am I correct in stating that the S1 Ultra simply refers to the front and rear camera bundle, and the the Miofive S1 I am seeing on Amazon is just the front camera? Seems to be quite a bit of variance in pricing so want to ensure I don't get an older, perhaps less capable model.
Sorry (off topic); today it was good to hear the Jeremy Vine program on BBC Radio 2 cover the problem with test wait times and the amount of money candidates are paying profiteers for earlier test appointments.
Probably time for me to get a 'dash cam'; I've lived and driven in MK for 25 years. The quality of driving has become significantly degraded, with drivers using roundabouts incorrectly and not making the required observations before moving off or changing direction.
Very good thank you. Straight into it, good presentation about the subject and not the presenter, unlike others.
Thank you and safe driving
Great video mate, thank you, you covered everything I was unsure about. I'm buying the front one only because I have a van
Glad it helped
Hi great review thank you it was a great help do you have to pay extra for the speed camera alert

Not sure if it comes as standard.

It records until the micro SD card is full, then it records over the oldest recording first.

Yes you can

@ you could be correct. It took me a while to find the correct link for amazon.
Morion detection?
It does catch a lot of them on camera.

The DVSA sent out an email giving advice on students who use 3rd party booking sites.

I have also noticed there are more drivers who don’t want to follow the rules of the road.
front cam looks jerky compared to the rear
Thanks for the feedback
