- [4K] A Full Mystic Manor Ride - through at Hong Kong Disneyland Route B. Note: This ride vehicle moves in a different route than the video I uploaded several months ago. There are 2 different routes the ride vehicle can take depending on which ride vehicle you are seated in.
The attraction utilizes a trackless ride system similar to that used in Pooh's Hunny Hunt. Mystic Manor tells the story of Lord Henry Mystic and his monkey Albert. One of the best Disney rides ever made!! And not even as old as other Disney's popular rides. This is surely in my Disney park bucket list now!

just came from Motiongate's hotel Transylvania video and it's hilarious badly trackless tech casn be used. This however is another level, just a work of art this ride is.
Man, every video I watch there is never a line or crowd. Sad, as this is an amazing attraction that hopefully someday I can visit myself!
I think this was a media day release. I have seen other videos of the park that would put Magic Kingdom to shame and would absolutely break Disneyland on population.
ohdogwow2 Mystic Manor has been open since May of 2013 (remember, this is Hong Kong Disneyland)... this is NOT "Media Day"
I've watched over 100+ videos of this ride over the past three years... and they're all the same.

HKDL is just going through it's "EuroDisneyland" phase and hopefully will get more popular.

LaDolcevita, one is a hands on simulator themed around piloting the Millennium Falcon, the other is a trackless ride that is primarily using physical sets and animatronics.

It doesn't cost an arm or a leg to visit Asia if you are smart enough to plan a trip right.
I wonder if disney will start converting some of the rides here in the states to trackless. Seems like they can do a lot more with the rides if they do.
California Adventure has a trackless ride now in Cars Land, but it's not nearly as spectacular as this one.

I've seen so many videos of the ride that I've lost count, and this is the first time I've noticed that in the first room you go into, there is one of the singing busts from the Haunted Mansion off to the left.
Love this ride!!! Wish there was one like it in the US.

+DykeZuki Not something with the "haunted" theme, but there is a "Mickey" ride rumored to come to Disney's Hollywood Studios at Disneyworld around 2018-2019, that is said to be very similar to this attraction (including trackless ride vehicles).
+Jared Johnson there's rumors that Disneyland might get one theme to Frozen, but not sure if it's true or not.

People here wish they could afford a trip to Asia to ride this yet they don't realize that a 3 days trip to Hong Kong Disneyland is a lot more affordable than a Weeks visit to Walt Disney World.

That's neat how they do have two routes. Even more neat is how they program the track and such.
Its prolly like the Tower of Terror the one in Florida, where it has those cool sensors on the bottom and its programmed exactly where to go :) its so awesome

It's more like a pre-programmed Roomba. Another good example of trackless technology is Winnie the Pooh's Hunny Hunt at Tokyo Disneyland, where each room is a big open room, and the cars separate from each other to randomly explore the room.

The outside of this ride looks very similar to Morey Mansion here in Redlands, California. I wonder if this is where Disney got their inspiration from.

this ride uses the same technology that the lego company uses with a little Disney engineering to make it what it is.

Addison Rerecich hun, this IS in Hong Kong, they use english in their rides because 60% of the park goers speak english.

Hong Kong was a former British Colony so English is fluenty spoken there.

I have to say, I was quite disappointed with this ride. The tech is cool but I don't like that everything is going towards video effects... Just doesn't feel the same as animatronics.
