With the right axle out how hard was the rear turbo removal? Everybody says you have to drop the front cross member. Also did you do anything from the top like remove the engine bracket and manifold cover?
Right now I have a stock 3.5 twin turbo police interceptor are there any mods you recommend doing before going straight to a turbo upgrade? I’ve been having a lot of trouble finding any information on upgrading these cars and getting parts that work for the interceptor model 🤦🏽♂️
Definitely want to go with the aluminum piping otherwise you'll have boost leaks like crazy with the plastic pipes. Also would for sure get high flow cat down pipes or catless down pipes.

What exhaust are your running and did you tune the car after (or before ) the turbo swap ? I have the same car . I am at 140k on the odometer and am thinking about a full engine rebuild with larger turbos, downpipes and performance exhaust. I even contacted Wilwood about a custom brake kit.
@@AutoRacingYT Do you have to send your stock turbos back for a core? Your car is awesome. Has it lost any of it's driveability? That's the biggest thing keeping me from modding my MKS. It's my DD, and I don't want it to be too loud, or have cooling problems. I drive about 75 miles a day. A lot of it is stop light to stop light. But there is about a 20 mile stretch of open road. I saw your drilled rotors. Did you just swap them, or did you get a larger brake kit, with calipers? I love the EPP pipes. I'm really interested in knowing if they perform better than any other CAI. I still have the stock box in mine.

Nope I've done several of them, removing the axel is all that is necessary.
So the axle needs to be moved in order to install the rear turbo
how bad was swapping out the SHO batches from the front quarters? I've been so tempted to turn my SHO into an SE or SEL

Hold the accelerator pedal to the floor . The engine will crank but it won’t fire up.

13+ manifolds are all the same
I used to laugh at these things. V6TT and could not outrun a G37X sedan because it weighs about as much as an Escalade.

Direct bolt on. They are stock frame turbos no modifications needed

You can use as much boost as you want, if you are tuned by SSi. lol
