I do like CSL, both with EXO and without, and have used it a few times (I'm just an enthusiast and I do an occasional vehicle for friends/family/neighbors). Its a great coating, but for those of us up here in MN where we deal with heavy road salt it seems to struggle a bit on the lowers. This happens to all coatings, but CSL doesn't seem to bounce back like some others, especially after the first winter. When it comes to toppers, sealants, etc...as an enthusiast who likes the performance of a bare coating (and likes to see exactly how it is performing)...I don't use them. Once my coating starts to die and I want to limp it along until I can recoat, then I will top it. But for a detailer maintaining a customer vehicle every 6-12 months, I think it is an important step when you don't know how the customer is washing (or not washing) the vehicle.
Hey Phil! What are you guys running for a pressure washer? And what are your thoughts on flow (GPM)? Is 2 GPM really all that necessary or great to have? Would you say having 3 o 4 GPM would make washing easier, more efficient or enjoyable? Have a great day
Hi. This is our setup. th-cam.com/video/SPI8GSQUYCw/w-d-xo.html It’s not a 1900psi 2.1gpm.At the gun it’s getting 1000psi which is perfect. You really don’t need anything more than that. At least not for detailing.
Maybe someone can come with a 3D printed hose holder to be attached to the IK sprayer to hold the hose mod? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. #detailglovebox #KCX
