I had a question about topping a coating. As the topper fades is there a period of poor hydrophobics until you’re back to the base protection?

Hi. I haven’t seen that to be the case. The topper is just a sacrificial layer that wears away rather quickly. But you really can’t tell when it’s gone and the coating is showing its beading properties. As long as it’s beading constantly we are happy.

@ you may have to bring the vehicle inside your garage and do the before pictures before bring your vehicle out and do the contact wash that way your Internet connection will be good for the audio. That’s what I have to do several times on my channel.
