5:35 If you have the Nice sand wand, The blocks will stay up until the player attempts using the rod again so you have to use it on a different area even if there is no sand in that area if you want to get rid of the pillars

same here but thats mostly cause I just stoped doing the dungeons and wandered around trying to find them. The fact the mini map tells you how many there are, and they make noise makes them alot easier then some other games find them all quests.

Yes... I had all 99 by myself, and I searched the area for 3 hours, turns out it was inside the potion shop and somehow I missed it the one time I bought a potion-

The namesake of the Maiamais is actually quite interesting: Mai-mai is the sound (like Woof or Meow) Snails presumably make (according to the Japanese that is)
