    "Driver Rips Massive Hole In Loader's $90K Steel Wheels"
    Let's go through this title word by word -
    1. The driver didn't do it
    2. Nothing gets ripped
    3. Not a massive hole
    4. Not even a hole, just a gap opens up in the links
    5. It is actually a loader. I'll give them that
    6. It doesn't have steel wheels, the wheel is also not what gets slightly damaged. Not even the tire.

    • @davidtillman3
      @davidtillman3 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@7XHARDER Its just a wheel and tire just on a much much larger scale. It's still a steel wheel, it's a multiple piece wheel cause it would be physically impossible to mount it like you would a regular car tire. The chains that are on the tire are completely separate from the tire, they get wrapped around it for rock protection, since tires this size cost $70k to $100k for a single tire.

    Bill rushes to the porta-potty on first break and makes it just in time to avoid a catastrophe. However, he struggles to achieve a clean break as the wind tosses the plastic blue room back and forth as if it were on a ship in a storm. Finally, after pulling a shop towel from his pants pocket, he is able to get just enough pressure to clear the smear and avoid a crusty problem. A problem that would have plagued him for the remaining 8 hours of his long, perilous shift.

That wheel on dozer looked to be the more expensive when compared to the trucks wheels that got mess up in slide. When the wheel had to be replaced on the one dump truck the mines owner didnt get too upset at the replacement, so I'm doubting that was the 90g tire. Title of video should be chain AROUND 90000 dollars tire breaks... because the tire was fine.

      yes Arizona is in the USA. 60 Celcius is 140 degrees Fahrenheit , 50 Celcius is 122 degrees Fahrenheit, most of scientific type things in the USA are measured on the Metric scale. the units of measure are more precise in metric than the Standard scale.

      Brian K do you have Google? Any 6 year.old kid could look up the conversion on Google. And yes we do use metric for some things in US. • @Sirmellowman
      @Sirmellowman 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tuneless7047 I'm not saying they don't give grip, I'm saying the reason they fork out the cash for them is the money they save by slowing tire wear. The kind of chains for grip in the snow are designed completely different and have way less links in them

    • @RebelRocket
      @RebelRocket 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tuneless7047 It is for protection of the tire, not grip. I've worked on these machines. I've also ran them. And I can tell you the chains flat suck for traction. Our machine only runs chains on the front tires since they are exposed the most to sharp rocks in the dig face.
