Also, it looks like more often than not Marques is more interested on smaller 13 Pro. As a Pro Max guy, I hope Marques also have some sweet time with Apple’s big boi🤞🏻

@@brandonchutt312 Ok, but the phantom is a high speed camera. It isn´t a cinema camera and the image quality is lower. Reds are cinema cameras, and there is no interest on shooting at this high framerates. You will be using 24 fps most of the times, 120 fps is just for some slow-mos you may want to do once in a while.

Marques Talking About advanced camera tech that I don’t understand

ISO is probably the least advanced camera terminology you could think of. It's just the brightness level. You use it all the time with your phone without even knowing it. For example, tap to focus and sliding up and down manually changes the ISO with the iPhone.

If I had access to 8k-120 I'd do first person driving shots all over the northern part of Michigan during fall leaf season. High res slow motion makes it all look like a dream.

They have HUGE mark ups. They shamelessly nickle and dime their customers every which way possible.
@@305kubricktheir customers are people who do this as a living, and can write off some of it as a business expense. Most high end electronics are this way by the way, for example a $3000 msrp mic costs 50 bucks to make or even less

As a tech enthusiast and an APS-C videographer I couldn’t careless about any of a cinema camera that exists on the market except for a fews like FX3/30, BM Pocket Cinema or 6K Pro
…until I color graded a sample footages from a Sony Venice and ARRI 35, I was blown away by the insane quality and insane dynamic range that they got. Now I now why they exist. And if I ever get access to the amount of money that you have I would probably buy one of these.

The "V" might obviously stand for Velociraptor as to say how crisp, "RAW" & sharp yet smooth the camera would perform even while in motion which also suggests it might also have a great stabilisation in that XL form factor & that might be one of the reasons why it's gonna be XL.

Although both cameras are 8K VV, the one in the Raptor is a new sensor design.
True, not the same sensor, but same sensor size and resolution. Monstro (for DSMC2 and Ranger cameras) and v-raptor (For v-raptor camera) sensors.
Exactly! The sensor needs to be able to refresh its full frame and sent the data for processing at 120hz. So yeah new cpu and cmos.

V is fir the “Vista Vision” sensor. Historically a VistaVision film camera utilized the full frame 35mm film plane where most “Super 35mm” turned the film vertical and added an audio strip doen the side, effectively shrinking the film plain per frame.
Also, in the live release, the sensor itself is touted as a brand new sensor with faster readout. But maybe you are correct and it’s just a faster processor?

i will guess will be more of 3-4gb per sec , need some mid-highend nvme ssd's for that.
I'd imagine he'd get about 20-30 minutes of footage off of that SD card.
This is the best I could find in a couple minutes.

Coming from an audio background the five pin connector makes perfect sense to me. I suspect that it allows you to feed two balanced signals (XLR) through a single smaller connector with a simple adapter.

My phone's display is 1080p. I still watch these videos at 4k because TH-cam uses higher quality settings for 4k videos which is also noticeable on lower res screens.

(5:45) On the top of the frame, there is like a masking FX used to hiding something? Like a boom mic that was in the shot , and they tried to remove it.
Took me so long to find a comment that was about this, i think its actually a crack in the lens.

But the thing I missed in the channel is that you are just doing reviews of Gaming Laptops but if Possible kindly do reviews of Ultrabook like Zenbook 13 oled , Zenbook 14 oled and now coming surface studio.
