It IS important to have the kit well tuned.Every place I ever recorded had house kits that were not tuned very well.Got to the point where I would be my own kit no questions.So glad I'm doing my own music finally.🥁🤖🛸

Get a AKG down near that kick drum and you got a very 60s beatles style setup! sounding great david
