- What an unreal experience, taking my Ford GT up to the penthouse apartment on the 56th floor of the Porsche Design Tower in Miami! Join me for the experience to see how smoothly and easily you can bring your car right up to a condo in the skyscraper.
The Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles, Miami features the Dezervator, a unique elevator that allows you to take your car up to your condo inside the building. With 130 apartments, the penthouse at the top covers 20,000sqft over 4 floors including an 11 car garage! Coincidentally this is also the highest place a car can be taken in Florida due to quite how flat the state is, so high in fact that you see plans flying by beneath you.
With a unique and patented system introduced for the car elevator within the Porsche Design Tower, it's amazing how each condo has these garages directly inside them with the absolute top end of technology to manage the process. Along with @gdizzle99 who joined in the Porsche 918 Spyder, we set the Ford GT up for the journey to see just how this works exactly and take my car to somewhere completely unusual for it to ever go!

It doesn't make much sense but I actually took my Ford GT up to the penthouse on the 56th floor of a Miami skyscraper! The Porsche Design Tower features the unique Dezervator, a car elevator that literally can take a car up to the condo's own garage - in this case an 11 car man cave within the 4 floor space. You have to see how this works, what an experience!

Not ..Miami is a crime riddled dump..it's considered the poor county in the whole state of Florida and has more violent crime there than any part of Florida so no I wouldn't go there if they give me a house there..

In the 14:25 minute, the Ford GT is transformed into black with yellow stripes. That configuration would have been a good combo too.

For sure an unreal experience and really extravagant... but imagine living there and having to wait all that process just to enter/get out of your residence...
Yes, at first I was thinking the same thing. Somehow cool but fairly impractical. But then I realized I'm looking at this "problem" from the wrong perspective... if you're that rich, your daily driver is probably in the basement garage for easy access (with the people lift) and your collection of Sports/Super/Mega/Hypercars is waiting in the man cave to be taken out a couple of times per year, it is probably worth the procedure, when the cars are kind of integrated in your apartment to enjoy them by seeing them every day.
This was a great episode...visiting some new garage to see the same cars we've all seen before (but in different colors)..can get stale.
There are more than a few buildings with this system now. I did this with my R8 in Singapore two years ago.

We talk about how awesome this content has been but we also need to remember that this may potentially propel this car into a status that does wonders for its value in the future. This trip is a great idea and I like that Schmee does the content mostly by himself. There's a lot of immature TH-camrs and Schmee is not one of them.

For the price of this apartment, its a gimic. I wouldnt want to live up there, or in any highrise for that matter. Id rather my own land and house with all the parking i would wish for.
