  • Property tycoon Gil Dezer giving a private car lift experience in the Porsche Design Tower Miami. This automated system transports cars and their occupants directly to the owner's apartments. Pretty cool!
    The Porsche Design Tower was finished at the end of 2016 and is a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. It is 95% sold. Standing 641 ft high (195m), this 60-storey building is located on Sunny Isles Beach just north of Bal Harbour with 200 feet of Atlantic Ocean frontage. It has 132 stylish and sophisticated condo residences.
    The tower has a host of luxurious amenities including a private restaurant with outdoor seating and a chic lounge bar overlooking the ocean, a sunset terrace with spa tubs, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, entertainment room, cinema and a residents’ only heated swimming pool with food and beverage service.
    The key feature of the building is the robotic car lift for your private sky garage which is separated from the living room by a large glass wall. Residents drive into the cylinder where a turntable spins the car towards the lift doors. With the car in position, the doors open and a skid slides underneath, locks around the wheels and pulls the car into the lift. Engineers are on hand at all times in case of problems.

    if you've lived in a high rise building its about the same as waiting on an elevator to take you down to the garage so you can get in your car. The cool thing about this concept is that it makes it easy if you have a bunch of items in your car and you don't want to make several elevator trips down to get them out of your car (groceries, Christmas gifts etc.)

    • @ogzion3745
      @ogzion3745 5 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      If you live in this thing you probably have someone buying your groceries, plus the only thnig you want to do when you turn off the engine is get out of your car...

      No it's not, I lived down the street it's 1 sec per floor in the elevator after pulling up and leaving your car for valet (maybe 10sec walk)

      Everybody in the comments is missing the point. A person that lives here is not running to the grocery store and to CVS first of all.
      Mainly this is about privacy! You could be an athlete a high ranking executive in a major corporation or movie star and this allows you to leave and come back home in 100% complete privacy!

      Daver G ok guy nobody compares a condo to a house, they’re two completely different ballparks and serve different markets. Again, even the cheapest condo at the porsche tower is more house than many people know what to do with and filled to the brim with luxury.

      I think its for "safety" reasons and comfort mostly. People can just walk 10 meters into their cars and start driving, which ofc can be done in a regular garage at ground level but it makes the idea accesible to those who live above ground level. Also I think its safer for the car to be around you and not parking outside or in a home garage that can potentially be broken into.

    It’s a cool process but seems like a bit of a chore to do each time you return home and leave to run errands etc. it is pretty neat technology though. futuristic

      you know they have regular parking spots too if you have to get somewhere quick right? That’s just if you want to park on your floor without being known as most celebs don’t want their car to be seen or touched. Since most celebs are gonna live there

    I honestly hope that building holds its value, as a major housing prices crash is imminent I see it really difficult for them to sell that pen house. I love the experience and luxury behind it but is majorly over priced.

    • @volvocub2629

      Lol lol the city taxes on a 7mil unit is $128k a year, the condo fees are $6800 a month... I think they are kinda not worrying about a small correction in the market. Lol

    • @Kfirce
      @Kfirce 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Volvo Cub LOL😂😂😂😂😂😂. A small correction is what is happening right now where prices have dropped about $450 a SQF. On imminent housing crash is selling multimillion dollar properties sold for less than half. This building is not going to be any difference. The majority of buyer are former nationals that are looking to invest and as soon as prices go down they will sell for what ever price. People are just as naive as they where back in 2007. If money wasn’t the issue why until this day half of that building is still up for sale including the pen house. No bay in its right financial mind is going to risk that money specially now. (Price correction LOL😂😂😂😂😂😂).

    From someone who's recently moved out of a building on Collins ave. It's a bitch to live in a building. This gets old fast af, 5 and a half mins to park your car and walk into your house vs 10 secs in a house. Also most units don't have a garage with a view like that.

    I would hate to be around when that elevator breaks and your penthouse is on the 40th floor and you're stuck on the 19th floor. with a broken elevator/dolly with no where to go !! It's would be disastrous to say the least...lol...
