I’ve had the Dsl20, the Origin 50 and the Rectoverb 25 and I personally prefer the Recto. I think the EQ settings coupled with a pedal like an EQD Plumes let you get an insanely wide range of tones. I’m also running through a two notes captor for attenuation.
@@sjorda12 I play the recto without attention . I just use a tube screamer to boost the dirty channel when needed. This amp is soo good it sounds great on the 10 watt setting. I’d like the get the Marshall sc20 at some point. Now I know not to get the dsl. The MESA is probably significantly better tone wise to the dsl since the dsl is a cheaper overseas amp. The sc ,sv are made in 🇬🇧 uk
The mesa sounds quieter in the video probably due to the fact that it’s farther away from the camera. These amps are both being played at very very low volumes . Tv volumes .
Yeah just comparing solid state to tube amps at bedroom volumes . If you’re gonna play tube amps at low volumes .. the lower the wattage the better. And they’re prob gonna need a tube screamer if you’re playing dirty channels.
@@MD.WalidIbneObaid 25 watts of tube amp is way louder than 50 of solid state. Tube amps create an organic 3D sound . I like them particularly with a tube screamer .

I think just fortin Zuul
What do you think, all over which amp is best among these two??
Obviously the Mesa lol.
@@Disabledguitarist1985 What's the main reason??
@@MD.WalidIbneObaid well it’s a 25 watt tube amp lol. I recommend the boss katana for bedroom playing.
@@Disabledguitarist1985 No, I want to know that why you like the Mesa more than the Marshall, Even the Marshall has more watt than the Mesa. So why??
