R.J. Soldani - Guitar Tech and Private Instructor at Supersonic Music in Topeka, KS - gives a short demo of the MESA/Boogie Dual Rectifier Recto-Verb 25 1x12 combo amp.
Love mine. I’ve had it for about 6 years now, based on a review you made years ago actually. The red channels are pretty iconic but the cleans surprised the heck out of me. I prefer the cleans on this amp to my Lonestar Classic. Really solid all rounder. I’m very pleased with it. Great playing!
Good demo man! Many bases covered. Would have been nice to add some jazz chord soloing so we could hear that also. (I realize most are not looking at a rectifier for this style)
Wow great demo . Beautiful playing
Cool !! I have the same amp , still in love with it, after nine years. Great playing!!
Thanks Javi, great amp! Cheers my friend!
Is it loud enough to be heard with a band and drummer?
@@nickw1284 Yes, sure, in 25 watts mode in clean channel , never had a problem. In "modern" is a beast..jaja.

Awesome Tim! Good to hear from you!
This is probably the Best Mesa demo I’ve ever clicked on💯😎! I would definitely buy this amp
Thanks so much! Hope you grab one, great amp.
@@rjsoldani19 sold all my amps when i bought a Helix. I love it, but its NOT an amp haha. Im now seriously considering a Mesa Combo amp
I have a Marshall DSL40 and am tempted to get this Mesa Boogie! Great skills and demo brother.
Thanks for watching!!

That pushed setting sounds amazing.
It’s a great mode, organic and super responsive. Thanks!
Great playing!
Thank you!
Good review nice playing
Thank you!
What are the tonal differences in tone between the Filmore speaker in the older version and the Celestion in the current version?
To my ears the Vintage 30 is a bit more open sounding than the previously used speaker. Thanks for the question!
@@rjsoldani19ok, thanks for the response. I recently got one with the older speaker. Would you say it’s worth the upgrade?
🎉
Grande Amply
Sounds amazing! How does it take pedals?
Like a champ
Agreed! Like a champ, great pedal platform.
I think I need a Cali Tweed and one of these A/B'd to get the tones I want
I have the original 50 what version of this, I can't believe how much of a jump in price for half the wattage though. 😅
Those are great amps too!
