Add a nice leather strap with a deployment buckle like I did with my Tudor black leather strap with deployment buckle, feels expensive and has all the bells and whistles, my new favorite from my collection!

I have the white version (T2N721) and it's my everyday watch. I love the 4th hand on it and the dial really looks like an old navigation instrument. Looks amazing and despite the size, once the leather of the strap has settled (white one has a leather strap) you don't even feel it on your wrist.

BUT !!!!!!!

Even looking at it, I would probably still use my phone for the time and date.

What type of battery does this use? The manual doesn't mention the battery type.
CR2016 however be advised it's very difficult for you to change this yourself. I recommend a jeweler or sending it to timex in ct
@@NotAWatchSnob Discovered the battery type on the rear steel case. Opening and reattaching the back case without proper tools is the real pain, otherwise the battery replacement is a simple 1 minute job. I have an older Timex (100M water resist) with 4 screws on the back plate - the battery replacement is a breeze.

Eh... I mean, yeah. For that price? Heck yeah. But to be honest, what does it actually do? It looks nice, it tells the time... The temperature function is pretty situational. Might work if you had it on the outside of your jacket, but since you can't really fit a NATO strap, that's going to be rare. Compass? Ok, fine, it can sort of tell you which way is north... but so could you with any other watch. And tide function? How does it know what the tide is like? It's probably a generic guideline, based on the Sun and Moon position, but it won't be able to tell you the tide level. There are quite a lot of places where the tide is very atypical.
So like you hinted at. It's a really well priced watch, that looks nice, with some party tricks.
I agree it's still a cool party trick for those who don't know watches like we go
You can set it to your local tide time. I've got mine set to our local tide high/low as the road out of our town sometimes gets covered by high tides.
Why make the lugs so chunky that a giant watch has the same lug width as my kiddy 32mm Mickey Mouse watch?

The quality of the watch is nowhere close to being worth 4 digits. 1 its a quartz watch 2. the close up shows scratches on the dial and bezel. I gave up watching the rest after 3:26
