I have this with my boyfriend. We met online and the second we met in person it was like fireworks. Our second date lasted 9 hours and we talked about so much, even out mental health. We were talking constantly, and then 5 weeks after meeting, moved in together because of the pandemic. A year and a bit after that and I've never felt so loved and so connected to someone.

Very similar to my bf and I. We went to two of the same universities but didn't meet until after both of our long term relationships were ending. On our 4th date I got into a major car accident due to weather conditions. I blacked out after (later found out I had a concussion) but I just remember calling him and he came to me. I hugged him and cried in his arms something I rarely if ever do. He ended up riding in the tow truck back to my house to make sure I got home safely. That night when I was walking him to his Uber and thanking him for all the help/support we had our first kiss. Almost 3 years later and we still reminisce about that night 🥰

My best friend was my soul mate. So many people dont understand and/or dont like that considering I'm married and my best friend is a man and I met him through my husband. From the moment we met, we both felt this incredible bond that we just couldn't explain. I didnt have brother's and he didnt have sister's, that was the bond we felt with each other. Nothing ever romantic happened between us, even though his romantic partners didnt believe that, my husband never had a problem with our relationship. We often told each other that we loved each other, my husband would chime in with "I love you, too!" Sadly, he passed away last year and I've been lost ever since. I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I miss him so much. My heart hurts. It feels like part of soul is missing.

I can totally relate to what you've said in the beginning though. I met this person a year ago and I just feel at home being with him. He calms me down without even doing anything, just by being there. In my heart, there is enough space for him and my husband (who I know for sure is the love of my life) but people keep on questioning my feelings and behaviors and it really frustrates me. If I'm being honest I try my best not to get attached to people who come into my life . Because no matter what they always leave without saying goodbye . And that's what hurts the most , When they just leave without giving you an explanation...

One day, you will meet someone who will say goodbye. I've met two of em. Only 2 so far.
Yes, that happens but don't lose hope and have courage! I've had multiple friends, I enjoyed my time with them and deemed them as my real friends. But of course, as time goes by people change and we just drifted away from each other without any explanation or goodbye. I don't talk with those friends anymore, but I now have real friends and even through the pandemic, we still talk, like almost everyday lol. It was hard opening up to them, but as I opened up they opened themselves to me too. There are times when they've hurt my feelings and I've also hurt theirs but we learned to understand and forgive each other. There is the fear of getting hurt but the pain you've been feeling, can't compare to the joy that's coming. "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." Take things slowly but surely! It might not seem like it, but you'll find a way and find people who will appreciate you and if there comes the time that they will go, they'll give you a proper explanation/goodbye. Learn to love and believe in yourself while loving and believing in others. At least that's what I did and I've learned a lot from doing that. Sometimes it just doesn't work out and that's ok, it doesn't make you any less of a person.

I had this connection with my best friend in college. We both instantly knew we wanted to know the other, but were shy. It took about 10 weeks, but after that we pretty much spent every day of the rest of the 4 school years together. We're not really close anymore. There's a physical distance & life happens, but I remember our friendship incredibly fondly.

I feel like I may have had this interaction 2 years ago with my close friend. Idk why, but we instantly hit it off and was able to understand each other; opening up about personal matters. Me and my best friends are literally soulmates 😭❤️ I'm 10 hours older than her and we apply to all of these things. We can talk for hours and hours and never get bored, we finish sentences, talk at the same time, we understand each other, we make each other happy. I love her so so much.

I just also had someone try and convince me once that I didn’t have a choice in getting into a relationship with him, because it was fate we were brought together. He wasn’t my forever person haha.

It's amazing how it always feel like everything has fallen into its proper places, or that you're at the right time and at the right place whenever you're with your soulmate.
I think the most unique and intense feeling is having gone together trough something terrible. Me and my brother were beaten when we were little, and we have gone through some of the worst situations someone can imagine. When we're talking I look him in the eye and remember all those horrible experiences and think: "we survived"

Almost 5 years since me and this girl stopped being friends. It really hurt me because I really liked her and was gradually spending more and more time with her. This would likely sound strange but I had this feeling last month when going to a teahouse for the first time. I was immediately drawn to the person running the place but couldn’t explain this feeling. It’s like I could sense their calming energy. Heck I’ve had a fair share of great services before but this one hits different. I liked the way he talks and smiles. He was very attentive, leans in to listen to my order, and I felt comfortable.

The worst feeling ever is when you feel said unexplainable connection, but they couldn't give it a second thought.
I have definitely met my soulmate, we can talk about literally anything, and I think neither of us ever feel uncomfortable around each other. They are so amazing, I definitely developed feelings, but our relationship remains platonic (I confessed my feelings, so they know). I feel so grateful to have them in my life, but I'm trying to get past my feelings, I am convinced I was in love :(
I connect so heavily with this about my ex boyfriend. We dated for 9 months, and I ended things because he had been talking to a girl and I felt betrayed at the time. But we’ve both grown up a lot and I still love and miss him every day. We started seeing each other again recently and it feels like my love and feelings never change a bit, and he makes it very clear he feels the same. We are so intertwined soul wise. I can’t lose him again. Even if we can’t be in a relationship together.

But slowly and surely we’re building trust in eachother again. We spend our time talking things through and doing fun stuff. If you’re in a similar situation, it’s best to very slowly rekindle things. Rushing only causes issues in the end! The thing is, if you’re truly soulmates, your love will find a way to bloom! I can't say that I've ever experienced this depth of connection immediately. But over the course of decades of marriage my wife and I definitely grew into soulmates. All of what is described applies to us. It just didn't happen at first sight.
My first cat baby was my soul mate. I know a lot of people wont understand a soul mate in cat form, but she was everything I needed to make life worth something. She knew when I was depressed and was always there.
I still cry when I think of her. It's been years, but I feel lost without her.

honestly i met my soulmate through a dream. i have a really deep spiritual connection, a medium i think it's the proper term for it, and i astral travel a lot. one day i just met this person while doing so and some way we shared memories. we keep meeting almost everytime i astral travel and i feel the safest with him even if we never met in person. thing is as if this wasn't already pretty unbelievable to someone my soulmate is also a famous person, so i can never tell people about it ir they start bullying me for being a "delulu" and a "schizophrenic".
after experiencing this tho, i can't take people calling whoever they just met "soulmate" just lightly like that, i mean, i can feel in my soul when he's not okay and vice-versa and a lot of other crazy things. it's sad that barely no one believes me.

I'm sooooo happy to have met my soulmate. She's amaJIN, we have the same personality type, bring out the best in each other, comfort each other and we've known each other as friends since we both joined late at the same primary school. I met my soulmate thanks to our common friend. Him and I decided to meet and learned that we attended the same primary school in Italy, Rome and lived in the same area, but we never met there, we met in the UK, Leicester. Also in Leicester, he lives not too far from where I live. My mum and his mum attended the same driving school but in different years. And my dad used to buy meat at a butchers shop. This butchers shop used to belong to his dad! Our families never met and don’t know each other.
Him and I had a strong connection, we used to talk for hours and never got bored. When we talked, we accidentally used to say the same words at the same time, it was cute! However, our life goals were different and our paths have been separated. He recently got married. I knew it was going to happen but I can’t avoid the fact that I feel like a part of my soul has been snatched.
To be honest, I don’t know how he made it look so easy to move on. I guess his goal to get married and have his own family was stronger. But he also felt the same way I did and said that it’s like we have known each other since forever.

Recently me and my best friend had a huge falling out and are no longer friends. I've never been so close to someone in my life, ever since the pandemic started we've been through everything together and now we're strangers again. I've been watching these videos to try and process the last 3 years of this really complicated relationship. It's all been so confusing but me and her both know that we had a unique bond. Now I'm afraid that I lost her for good even though we've shown each other time and time again that we were meant to meet. I don't think I'll ever have someone like her ever again. If find your soulmate make sure to treat them right and work through your issues or else those cracks will destroy the entire thing.
There is this one guy who I felt this instant connection with. I always had a lot of social anxiety but he made me feel so comfortable the second we met. I’ve never talked with someone the way I talked with him, especially since we had basically just met. I haven’t seen him for a couple of months and might never see him again. He only worked together for a month. It could never be romantic considering that I just turned 18 and he’s in his 40s. I know it might sound bad but it was never a friendship revolved around grooming or anything like that. I’ve just never had anyone understand me and to joke around with the way that I did with him. It would be cool to see him again but I might never.

I came to the US last year as an au pair and honestly I expected to meet some cool people, but nothing else. I’ve been here for 8 months and I met three people that will be in my live forever, that’s what I just know. I’ve had ‘deep friendships’ before, but it never felt like i had a true connection with them, I always played a role depending on which person I am talking to. But here i found three people, in complete different areas and out of complete different situations and with each of them i feel this connection. I can’t even explain how lucky i feel.
I’m sure two of them are my soulmates and the third person is my twin flame, also the person who showed me what love feels like.
They make this year so much better since I have many troubles in my job and I honestly don’t know what I would do without them.

I have a funny story. I'm asexual and aromatic and she is pansexual but we only cuddle. The funny thing is that we aren't in a relationship other than a friendship. She is completely free to be in relationships and even had one. They guy was never upset and was one of the coolest people I know to this day and just trusted that we never did anything because he knew I was ace.
My best friend is my soulmate. I've know her techinically since before i was born because she was in the nursery my mom visited when she was pregnant with me. I officially met her when i was 4 months and she was 10 months old. Every since that day we've been super close and have done everything together. My earliest memories all involve her, majority of my childhood pictures she's in, we even had 2 photoshoots her aunt did in her garden and they show our transition from 3 to 9. Sadly she moved overseas, I dont talk to her as often as i used to, but no matter what ik the minute i see her we'll be back to normal, we have such a close bond and she's basically my sister. We've never really fought before (unless it wa sover like clothes or toys when we were younger). She's always been there for me when I'm struggling and her mother too (who's like a mother to me). She's the whole reason after 6 years i got back in tough with my father, which now, I am so grateful for. You will find your soulmate and never ever let them go once you do
