I was really introverted, anxious and insecure so I struggled being a human. I’ve met my twin flame 8 years ago in a foreign country. From the first moment I felt this was something different. She was younger and reminded me of a young me. It was really intense, but in the end it didn’t work out. I think about her now and and then, it has diminished over the years, but every memory is so clear and I feel the feelings again. For years I’ve fought this and wouldn’t accept someone having such an impact on me. I’ve learned to accept this and this feels actually good, I look back at this period as something positive again. I spent last year at a Christian college taking ministry classes, and one of them was about finding purpose and calling in life, called “Vocation and Calling.” The dean of the college actually taught this class, and he told us a very interesting story when we got to the unit of relationships and how they apply to our life’s purpose. He said he met this girl in college and they instantly had a significant amount of chemistry and immediately started spending all their time together. After a long while, they finally realized they were into each other romantically, so they started a relationship together. About a month later, they had complications with their relationship-he was not mature enough and sure enough in himself, and she was anxious about committing and had a destroyed view of love because of abusive people in her past. So they had a complicated break up and literally never saw each other at all for two whole years. Randomly two years later, they happened to have signed up to be on the same missions team for a mission trip together, and that event reignited and reinvigorated a spark between them. They’ve been happily married ever since. It’s such a beautiful and calming story to know that sometimes it’s not the wrong person, it’s just the wrong time, and that’s ok. They both had things they needed to work through in life before they were ready for their committed relationship. That two years gave them that time they needed to grow. Their past relationship allowed them to bond when they met each other again, and funnily enough, it was the weight of that breakup in the past that motivated them both to grow stronger and heal their past trauma. All these things are part of a process, and when looking back on it all, it’s undeniable everything happens for a specific reason. It’s such a peaceful feeling to know that if you are truly meant to be with someone, it will work out. Ultimately, time is the revealer of this grand story :)
You have to or it’ll never have a chance to develop into union (if it’s meant for this lifetime). I understand the intense connection, but put that energy back towards yourself. Heal yourself and you’ll realize you don’t need them to be happy or have a good life, then the chance of union is way higher. I've met my twin flame years ago online. We did split up while we were young and dumb, but that was definitely for the better. Years later, we came back into contact through our SO's at the time but never did we have regret or have hard feelings about it. Turns out, we were both going through the same bullshit of lies, cheating and overall emotional abuse. Eventually we both ended up getting rid of them over time, hers a lot sooner than mine. We talked about it since we were still good friends and sympathized for each other. I couldn't help but feel myself reconnect with her all over again since we understood each other so well. I told her how I still loved her and apologized for not being there when she needed me most. She felt the same way and happily obliged to take me back into her life as her life partner and have been inseparable ever since now that we've grown up and realized what we have. I used to as well... I think it's just an awakening. Being single and doing nothing but putting work into myself I felt like that energetically attracted my twin flame. I've never felt anything like this. It's just starting but it's already been longer than any relationship I've ever had my entire life. It feels so amazing. Just know your twin is out there and once you put that effort into being your best self your twin energetically does the same thing because of the work you are doing (your soul is one). It was with “not my type” guy. But we instantly became incredibly close. Our connection felt so strange, as if you would be represented in two bodies, living two different lives, having different childhood traumas, different nationality and personality, but somehow just having one shared consciousness. It was the most strange experience, I felt like finally I’m not the lonely unique soul walking the earth. There is two of us. I believe I found mine. I suddenly had all of my fears, anxieties, insecurities, and negative emotions and habits dragged out of me. You don't get over a person in an instant snap of a finger, bu she couldn't stand me getting over slowly either, so she basically disappeared in my life. I always called my beautiful angel, and she called me her savior, now she is gone, nights without her is just emptiness and solitude. I am writing quite an article here, just wanted to share my story, that yes, we are not always meant to be, and it truly hurts like hell. But we need to carry on, remember all the good things, wishing them the best, be better yourself too, they would want us to be the same. I personally am still working on that, it's difficult but I am crawling back on.

I feel like I met mine pretty recently. Bad timing for both of us; we were both in denial about our own readiness. She was avoidant, I was anxious. This video is pretty good as a general overview on the topic of twin flames. I would cautious, however, promoting the idea someone else is needed to "complete you". This concept says at the same time "I am not complete". It is only when we love ourselves, recognize ourselves as eternal divine beings with an internal sense of WHOLENESS, that we are actually able to keep our twin flame in our life or make ourselves ready for the twin flame reunion if we're in the separation phase. If you emit a signal of incompleteness, you are sending a signal of resistance to your twin and the twin flame reunion can not happen until you feel complete and "enough" without your twin (ironically). Now, your completeness revolves around something outside of you that may not be meant to be in union for the rest of your life. I felt complete after I met my twin, but when we were no longer together, it was my inner sense of completeness that allowed me to find another fulfilling love. I would not have been able to meet and keep the current fulfilling relationship that I current have if I had an internal sense of incompleteness. I met my twin flame fourteen years ago. I can tell you exactly what she was wearing and how our first conversation went. It was my first time going to a camp of any sort, and I was incredibly nervous that I wouldn't make a friend. I always found it hard to open up to people back then but with her everything just felt natural. Unfortunately we met at a summer camp and we lived nearly 2 hours apart however whenever we were around each other we were inseparable, the conversation flowed and we always mad each other laugh. Now after my first year I was determined to go the next, I knew she was going to be there, don't ask me how ion know. As soon as we saw each other we were glued to one another. It was so "bad" I could tell our camp leaders were getting annoyed that they had to separate us and our fellow peers were getting annoyed that we kept talking about each other but we couldn't help it! The last night before we had the camps last big show she handed me a folded piece of paper, and to my surprise it had every single one of her contact info so I had no excuse to go noncontact, at the end of that year I moved 2,000 miles away but our connection never weekend. Until I got married, respectfully of course. That was unfortunately five years down and a child up later I moved around again and she got married. Fast forward we go no contact we haven't seen each other in 10 years this year and she hits me up, with nothing more than a "Hey". Immediately every forgotten memory that was just sitting in the back of my mind rush forward and I'm transported to us staying up to 3am talking about everything and nothing all at once. Both of us forgetting what the definition of tired or fatigue is, we talked so much we reverted to speaking in an 17th century queens english. That one hey brought back a flame I've been missing, now conversation continued and it was like no time had passed. Like we've been done seen each other and we're just catching up. She goes on to tell me that her and her mans is in the process of getting a divorce. From there things kind of just took off, we took some small measures to try and not move to fast but it just genuinely didn't help. A lot happened, we started facetiming, and would ou believe it the spark was still there. We talked for hours about everything, there so much that can happen in a persons life in ten years. Things were nice, the last day I talked to her we planned out a trip for me to come visit in about a month for my birthday. That night she messages me that her and her man's are talking things out. But when I read the message, which was obviously longer than that, it didn't sound like her words or her voice. I tried saying a couple of things to tell her I understand but... She ended up deleting all of her socials and blocking my number. Five days later and it was over. About a week after that she calls me. I do not know if it was an accident or not but she called. This happened awhile ago and I know I can't keep my hopes up, and fortunately she helped me to see my worth. It's just a bummer to be left a gift and not be left to show my appreciation... You're not at all understanding what feeling whole with your partner actually means... There's a difference. When you feel whole with someone, it simply means that life is more fulfilling with that partner than when alone. Codependency is when you are unable to even be yourself unless you're around someone. Trust me, I know what codependency is and what feeling whole means. I used to confuse the two. But with my Heartmate, I fully understand the difference now. I used to be unable to cope with him leaving me - for five minutes. I would cry my eyes out when he had to go back home. THAT is codependency. Now, years later, finally getting back together, maturing and being away from my Heartmate after our breakup, I am able to watch him go home and be without him and not freak out. I have clarity knowing that I can do my thing and he can do his. But when we are together, the stars align and all is well. It helps that he calls me almost daily and it's as if he never left.
@@Discordia5 That isn't the case... the concept of feeling whole doesn't always involve codependency. As I said to them, codependency is when you're emotionally distraught without your partner. But having your other half means you are content with or without them. Your other half is meant to enrich your life, not to enslave you. Codependency is when you feel trapped because you're always relying on someone else for happiness. Codependent folks cannot feel happiness without someone else. But when you have a Heartmate (my term for Twin Flame), you are able to have a life without necessarily requiring the other person 100% of the time. You can have your own dreams, goals, hobbies, etc. Having a Heartmate just makes those things better.

I met my twin flame at a party I almost didn’t go to. My “friends” didn’t want me to go but for whatever reason I felt the NEED to go lol. I was really introverted, anxious and insecure so I struggled being a human. By the time she came along I was sweating bullets and she simply asked, “what’s my soul’s deal?” My nerves eventually calmed and I felt normal talking to her, it was like she could bring me out of myself. I’ve met my twin flame 8 years ago in a foreign country. From the first moment I felt this was something different. She was younger and reminded me of a young me. It’s such a beautiful and calming story to know that sometimes it’s not the wrong person, it’s just the wrong time, and that’s ok. They both had things they needed to work through in life before they were ready for their committed relationship. That two years gave them that time they needed to grow. Their past relationship allowed them to bond when they met each other again, and funnily enough, it was the weight of that breakup in the past that motivated them both to grow stronger and heal their past trauma. All these things are part of a process, and when looking back on it all, it’s undeniable everything happens for a specific reason. I've met my twin flame years ago online. We did split up while we were young and dumb, but that was definitely for the better. I used to as well... I think it's just an awakening. Being single and doing nothing but putting work into myself I felt like that energetically attracted my twin flame. I've never felt anything like this. It's just starting but it's already been longer than any relationship I've ever had my entire life. It feels so amazing. It was with “not my type” guy. But we instantly became incredibly close. I believe I found mine. I suddenly had all of my fears, anxieties, insecurities, and negative emotions and habits dragged out of me. He was also the first person that felt like home, that made me feel so comfortable and calm, the one that truly accepted me for who I am. He still makes me feel so calm, and comfortable and still feels like home even post break up. I can't speak for him, but given the fact that he stated he had never done certain mistakes before, it would appear that it was the same with him. We both hurt each other bad several months ago. However, considering he waited for me for year after we met, we dated, and we are still talking months later post break up gives me indication that I have found mine. I'm currently working on myself, trying to love myself and become a better person. I would love to be reunited with him, and I hope to this lifetime, but for now I'm working on myself.

This concept says at the same time "I am not complete". It is only when we love ourselves, recognize ourselves as eternal divine beings with an internal sense of WHOLENESS, that we are actually able to keep our twin flame in our life or make ourselves ready for the twin flame reunion if we're in the separation phase. I met my twin flame fourteen years ago. I can tell you exactly what she was wearing and how our first conversation went. It was my first time going to a camp of any sort, and I was incredibly nervous that I wouldn't make a friend. I always found it hard to open up to people back then but with her everything just felt natural. Unfortunately we met at a summer camp and we lived nearly 2 hours apart however whenever we were around each other we were inseparable, the conversation flowed and we always mad each other laugh. Now after my first year I was determined to go the next, I knew she was going to be there, don't ask me how ion know. As soon as we saw each other we were glued to one another. It was so "bad" I could tell our camp leaders were getting annoyed that they had to separate us and our fellow peers were getting annoyed that we kept talking about each other but we couldn't help it! The last night before we had the camps last big show she handed me a folded piece of paper, and to my surprise it had every single one of her contact info so I had no excuse to go noncontact, at the end of that year I moved 2,000 miles away but our connection never weekend. Until I got married, respectfully of course. That was unfortunately five years down and a child up later I moved around again and she got married. Fast forward we go no contact we haven't seen each other in 10 years this year and she hits me up, with nothing more than a "Hey". Immediately every forgotten memory that was just sitting in the back of my mind rush forward and I'm transported to us staying up to 3am talking about everything and nothing all at once. Both of us forgetting what the definition of tired or fatigue is, we talked so much we reverted to speaking in an 17th century queens english. That one hey brought back a flame I've been missing, now conversation continued and it was like no time had passed. Like we've been done seen each other and we're just catching up. She goes on to tell me that her and her mans is in the process of getting a divorce. From there things kind of just took off, we took some small measures to try and not move to fast but it just genuinely didn't help. A lot happened, we started facetiming, and would ou believe it the spark was still there. We talked for hours about everything, there so much that can happen in a persons life in ten years. Things were nice, the last day I talked to her we planned out a trip for me to come visit in about a month for my birthday. That night she messages me that her and her man's are talking things out. But when I read the message, which was obviously longer than that, it didn't sound like her words or her voice. I tried saying a couple of things to tell her I understand but... She ended up deleting all of her socials and blocking my number. Five days later and it was over. About a week after that she calls me. I do not know if it was an accident or not but she called. This happened awhile ago and I know I can't keep my hopes up, and fortunately she helped me to see my worth. It's just a bummer to be left a gift and not be left to show my appreciation... You're not at all understanding what feeling whole with your partner actually means... There's a difference. When you feel whole with someone, it simply means that life is more fulfilling with that partner than when alone. Codependency is when you are unable to even be yourself unless you're around someone. Trust me, I know what codependency is and what feeling whole means. I used to confuse the two. But with my Heartmate, I fully understand the difference now. I used to be unable to cope with him leaving me - for five minutes. I would cry my eyes out when he had to go back home. THAT is codependency. Now, years later, finally getting back together, maturing and being away from my Heartmate after our breakup, I am able to watch him go home and be without him and not freak out. I have clarity knowing that I can do my thing and he can do his. But when we are together, the stars align and all is well. It helps that he calls me almost daily and it's as if he never left.

@@Discordia5 That isn't the case... the concept of feeling whole doesn't always involve codependency. As I said to them, codependency is when you're emotionally distraught without your partner. But having your other half means you are content with or without them. Your other half is meant to enrich your life, not to enslave you. Codependency is when you feel trapped because you're always relying on someone else for happiness. Codependent folks cannot feel happiness without someone else. But when you have a Heartmate (my term for Twin Flame), you are able to have a life without necessarily requiring the other person 100% of the time. You can have your own dreams, goals, hobbies, etc. Having a Heartmate just makes those things better.
respectfully, there's a difference between needing someone for attention and reassurance and feeling like the planets are aligned when that person and you share the same space. :)

I agree on everything apart form number 10. When you are meant to be, you are. That is the soul purpose of Twin Flames: being together again/reunite.It can be very difficult to reunite together, but they can and in fact have to be resolved! Twin Flames are originally ONE, so reunion is a fact. Go for it, you will magage!

No. Twin flames can only reunite if they have healed themselves individually. Unless same toxic cycle. Twin flame is your mirror he/she brings out the wounds infront of your face and makes you focus on yourself (not exactly in a materialistic way) to be a greater version. Only if both of your complete the task of healing then its the divine bonding.

Yes I have found mine unfortunately we are not meant to be together in this life. But I was meant to walk the same paths as him and feel and learn what each person involved felt. Through out my life, I have played the role of each person we hurt by being together. I have learned so much with him and without him. And I would of never learned any of it if it wasn't for meeting each other
How would you feel about all that when this so-called magical person nearly ruined the long term relationship you were already in, nearly put a restraining order on you AND ruined you local reputation (no job promotions, everyone turning their back on you) and what not.. what's so beautiful about all that?? What would you learn besides never trusting your own intuition and others ever again?
yesss I found my twin flame. I am very happy I found her, it took me 27 years of waiting but I found her, she is from the other part of the world, we are different in every possible way, but we are exactly the same in the core.
and although it didn't matched with all the points you mentioned, 7/10 of the things you said I lived it with her.
I thank god every day that I found her and I hope everyone can find their twin flames, because the feeling is something unexplainable 🤗.
