You not only make the photoshop Students to learn Photoshop but also Can make them Artistic Creators in a long run . You know which part is to be emphsised more and where not. All are important and entertaining. Your way of spoken English is much friendly and understood by most of Us (in a way it also helps me to learn English...ha..ha.). Thank you sir.
Hi brother you should start your master class. The way you explain things are absolutely clear and make sense. Particularly I like the way you give appropriate examples. May God bless you and team
Your teaching is awesome because you explain what it is first and then the technique.. The sphere example to explain dodge and burn is awesome.. Keep doing this
PiXimperfect Yes.. In most of the video you explain what is ... It help us to understand the fundamentals of image processing and it also enables us to understand and use any other image manipulation softwares other than photoshop with ease. You are an exemplary teacher. Rare gem. Once I become financially stable, will become your patreon. Lots of Love and respect.
That tip about the 2 up window workspace is going to be a HUGE benefit for me. Thank you! Also your videos in general are just crazy helpful for the serious retouchers out there. You easily sky rocketed yourself to being my favorite Photoshop channel after only watching like 3 of your videos.
I"m loving your channel! I'm pretty proficient with photoshop, however I keep finding tips and tricks I didn't know about, and new ways to do things! Love it!!!
I am slowly making my way thru all your videos. I want to thank you so much for your work. I live that you explain every little step, but quickly. I'm learning PS from zero but I learn very quickly, so your style suits me pixperfectly😂👍🙏
Your subscriber are so much grateful to you Arun for making this marvellous tutorial. The best thing i liked about this content is it's a complete package, after watching this i don't have to visit other channels or sites to clear some confusion. Please keep it up, Those days are not far when you will have 10M family.
I'm still learning image processing in PS and Affinity Photo and you my friend have very understandable way of teaching PS! Even to us non english speakers! Kudos! Please go on making good tutorials!!
Awesome tutorial! To correct color shifting when dodging and burning with Curves, it sometimes also helps to set the blend mode of the Curves layer to Luminosity.
nah it's turns grayesh when you do that. normal is better. to fix color it's better to create a new blank layer and change the blending mode to color. sample colors to nearby with a brush with 100% opacity and 1% flow then gradually brush the affected areas.
I am sure someone has told you by now but in case. Dodge and burn it from the film days. When enlarging a print in the darkroom one would block the light from getting to the paper making the area lighter…aka dodging. Or when more light was added to an area it was…aka burning. The most common tools were cardboard taped to coat hangers, I would use my hands in weird shapes plus the tools. And feathering was just moving the tool back and forth slow or fast.
unmesh you can go to Philippines, and make the things you do, i understand you well. i think the way you explain you can share it here in my country. very well teachings and understandable. pls. share it here and on live teaching. thank you so much, and am on an advance photo shop because of you. thank you. you had a gift of showing things more clearly. thank you, thank you, and thank you so much for the knowledge.
I really like your tutorials they are very helpful . In this one would lowering both the opacity and the flow when painting on the masks and work on the image more gradually, also work to limit the risk of harsh results ?
Hi ! what are your favourite / tested CMYK proportions for the skin? (highlights, shadows etc.) so that it looks natural, neither too pasty nor too red ?
+Gireesh Pai I covered this in a recent video titled the best way to increase contrast. You can sure use luminosity, however it sometimes discolors the image. Plus, you lose the option to use hue/saturation as it has no effect on color.
Very good tutorial for technic but i don't agree with you about the final result. In fact i think that the final result looks really fake and it seems that the girl has a kind of mask on her face. I think there is too much manipulations and it doesn't improve the model. It is a danger with Photoshop to go too far in the improvement. It is my opinion. But i see all your tutorials and i learn a lot with them. go ahead. I love you ;) Sheers from France and Happy new year
I apologise. Seems like I reversed the before and after at the end.
PiXimperfect LMAO that was funny
hahhaha Yes bro

I have tried all ways to D & B but settled on using Screen and Multiply, with a mask then using the fader in Properties, Just my opinion!
21:30 "you can use d&b to remove depression" :)))
Funny enough, I have a graphics tablet, but when it comes to editing photos I prefer the mouse. The tablet is my go to for digital art.
I would like for you to teach Premiere Pro. You explain things in detail unlike other tutorial. Please
Big tks for great TUT, I'm way using only 2 curves layer for D&B... now i realize seperate them will control D&B more flexible
a bit late, but it seems like a make up tutorial but digitally
btw a really great tutorial as always

Hi unmesh great tutorial. Can you do one on Local Dodge and Burn?
I really like your tutorials they are very helpful . In this one would lowering both the opacity and the flow when painting on the masks and work on the image more gradually, also work to limit the risk of harsh results ?
Sir plz make a color theory video all about using
Hi ! what are your favourite / tested CMYK proportions for the skin? (highlights, shadows etc.) so that it looks natural, neither too pasty nor too red ?
so perfect! Want to know the name of the background music is the end of the video, like your course, but also like to end the music
Can you please make a video about vanishing point :)
nice
❤❤❤❤❤❤
👏
I think when you are doing dodging and burning using curves it's better to change the blend mode to luminosity.
+Gireesh Pai I covered this in a recent video titled the best way to increase contrast. You can sure use luminosity, however it sometimes discolors the image. Plus, you lose the option to use hue/saturation as it has no effect on color.
PiXimperfect oh.. Didn't know that.. Thanks a lot.. Cheers :)
i agree, it turns grayesh..
the color cyan soils the color the skin tone as eliminating it since in the flexographic printing system it comes out dirty or contaminated
