I just discovered your channel. I enjoy your knowledge and enthusiasm about classic bikes. I am seeing many here for the first time. Keep up the good work and I am going to subscribe!
Dude that trail is gnarly! The lack of run up is a joy suk. Great job getting to the top! I don't have much interest in the extreme designs of modern trials, but vintage has always appealed to me as even a general runabout. The collection is already too big, but the wheels are turning...
For me its the best bike channel on TH-cam by far. Your vids have a real feel good feel to them that really portrays the fun of messing about on bikes.
If she has rim locks (i'd recommend 2 on the back) drop that tire down to 5-7 lbs. of air. I ran my old '75 KT250 like that and she was a goat on rocks!
You need rim lock and drop the pressure down to 3(f) & 5(r) psi and you'll sail up and down that section... Also I find that for comps or vtricky sections you need tyres with less than 50hrs... Great videos... Keep chugging the beers
Talk about manicuring a section ! No run up is tough, not building momentum and getting those heavy flywheels to get you over the hard bits. But, it was only hard bits !
Another nice video, looks like Wheeler Rancho is getting better all the time. I am glad you are out riding that Ossa not putting it on a shelf. Are you using old school trials tires or the newer ultra sticky type?
The reason you’re having trouble cleaning those sections on that trials bike is you’re wearing a helmet. You should instead be wearing a woolen Scottish cap as Mick did. 😊

Don't forget to drop your rear tyre pressure when you need all the grip you can get!
Yes sir!
You inspire me to fix my leaking fiberglass tank & get the old Plonker out.

Haha, thanks James. The trials bike are small - you can fit one or two! 😁

nice
Don’t remove the rock that’s where the traction is. I would like to do that on my KTM 250XC-W and upload video on my channel. Riding with Bill.👍
Conquered! By hook or crook. Interesting going back down no doubt 👍
Yes sir! Lot of sliding😁

Thanks Mark! This bike would definitely benefit from a more modern trials tire!

Haha! I think you’re exactly right!
When are you going to ride a trials event? Most clubs have a beginner line.
I did one back in February in Valley Springs CA with PITS. It was so fun!
Get a Rokon.
LOL always wanted to try one
Consider a Rokon.
I've heard that twice now🤔
