Great that you can share the vintage vibe with your wife. My wife is my best friend and after 20 years of marriage we just have so much fun together. Thanks for sharing!
Another great video! Thanks for allowing us to be the third wheel on an amazing ride. And can we just acknowledge those Webco handlebars for a moment...they are so good to look at! Sorry, it's the little things on these vintage bikes.....
Great to see trail riding marital harmony in action and Kim is a very good rider! My pal had the road going version of the Triumph 'Tiger' Cub, as it was known here in the UK; back in the 1960's. I always thought it was a very capable little bike, a cut above my own BSA Bantam. I'm not surprised to see it performs well on US trails as it was popular for trials here, and was successfully ridden by the 11 times British Trials champion Sammy Miller!
Go Kim! Go! Your riding is impressive! I think this is my new favorite episode. It so cool seeing you two ride together, and I’m loving the bike setups. My off-road riding future has been up the air for the past 5-1/2 weeks. Hopefully upcoming surgery (April 4) will cure what ails me. If so I hope to make my ‘61 Jawa/CZ as capable as your trusty Mountain Cub. Keep up the good work. You’ve helped me maintain my sanity over these past weeks.
Beautiful riding area on beautiful vintage bikes by two beautiful people. Another great video! We are looking forward to the video of your ride in the Biltwell. I agree the NJB shocks are great vintage legal shocks, I have them on my Rickman Metisse TR6C Scrambler. Wish I could ride with you there!
First off, you are one lucky guy! Your wife is awesome and looks fun. Secondly, why all the damn forest road closures? Total BS. I stopped by the ranger station and they gave some me garbage about too much rain and snow bla, bla, bla. As you just found out the conditions were epic! This is the best time of year and they have us closed out. Ugggg!
Started out riding a Triumph Trophy 250...didn't know any better so rode it off road w/ trials tires. Wishnit had it now. Amal, Smith, and Lucas, all worked for some reason.😊
Riding old motorcycles is always an adventure, on or off road! I've never owned a new bike, so no comment on that.. The terrain and vegetation there is very similar to where I grew up in southern interior of British Columbia. The part I think I miss the most is stopping for lunch in the perfect spot & having a sandwich out there with Mom Nature!! Congrats on the 10K Subs too
Wow, your wife is a very good rider! Of course the dad in me would like to see you kids wearing some knee and shin protection. Great video as always! 🤗
I just found your channel today and I love it, great energy and a mix of old bikes! I've always been interested in 60's bikes but mostly of the cafe racer type. Thanks for introducing me to the off-road bikes of the era.
Again, another fantastic video putting a smile on my face! You guys are both awesome and Kim has superb riding skills!! Please keep on posting such great content! You are both legends!
My wife and I rode together for nearly thirty years in Wyoming.....all kinds of weather and terrain. What a bonding experience. She rode mainly an XR200 Honda and I rode various bikes.....my go-to bike for riding with her was a KDX 200. When I rode the Husky's with more cc's and long legs it was too easy to run away from her. All three of my daughters rode with me for years and were very good riders, too. My son was a go-faster and was always on the edge of disaster...I could never slow him down and he lost interest. I always carried a well-organized butt bag with enough tools, etc to rebuild a small block Chevy and we rarely had a ride that we couldn't fix a downed bike. Screws, nuts/bolts, black tape will generally get a person home.
Triumph Tiger Cub was a great bike in its day. My (now) wife had one back in the late 1960's. Got to watch the bottom end though. Bearing/bushing in there wears out.
It might be worth getting a sprung chain tensioner on that Cub for trail riding. I had my first Cub in the sixties, and I'm building another in the garage. Thanks for the ride. And she does look good on that Cub.
She's got skills! I love the riding coat you are wearing, and I think you have called about it in the past. Could you explain more about it in a future episode?
Nice bikes man, very cool play ground, and she is riding with authority, check out the dirt spitting out from the rear tire when she's riding, that don't happen if you're coasting
There's nothing like a husband and wife sharing the same tastes and hobbies! I always enjoy watching your videos from Korea. May I ask you the brand and model of the wax jacket you are wearing in this video?
Awesome footage, Man! Your wife is doing great. Is your twin a 500 or 650. I've always loved Triumphs, but never owned one. I've had many dirt bikes, raced 250 enduros in the 60's 70's here in Kentucky, southern Ill, Indiana, and Tennessee. Had everything from DT-1 Yamahas , Honda XL's, and KTM/ Pentons. Absolutely loved the 250 Penton. It was a great bike, as was the '82 400 KTM, my last serious bike, which I didn't ride much after tearing up my left knee snow-skiing in '84. I'm 77 and still riding with the kids and grandkids on minibikes and dirt quads, etc.
Well people here we have the new dynamic duo , you've heard of batman and robin ...let me introduce you to SLED MAN AND CUBBY !!!! 😁😁😁, have fun !!!!! Peace out ✌ P.s beautiful bike, beautiful wife ,beautiful ride 👍. Well done mate 👏,three out of three .✌️
If you haven't already I'd put a good o ring chain on the Cub, otherwise I very much doubt it will last 50 miles without stretching like knicker elastic
I can't believe you guys started dating at 14. So cool that your wire will ride vintage bikes with you...and do that Biltwell 100. BTW... "I was messing with the chain adjusters last night" would have been used against in a court of law of something bad had happened to Kim. I'm glad she's fine and didn't go down.
Yes, it’s Whitworth, and most people will tell you need them, but I’ve made do with standard and metric and adjustables for years. The only tool I have that’s Whitworth is a hammer.
You are so lucky having a wife that follows your hobby and is a decent rider herself. My wife is not interested in anything biking, they say opposites attract. .
It's not just the bikes it's you! You've got a great personality and you show so much enthusiasm and you're so chill!
Thank you for this very kind comment Jim!
Looks like someone’s having fun 👍🇬🇧

Dude that's totally gnarly
Great that you can share the vintage vibe with your wife. My wife is my best friend and after 20 years of marriage we just have so much fun together. Thanks for sharing!
Those bikes make sounds that only vintage Triumph's can make. The best sounds in the world!
A perfect example of being married to your best friend. Life is good!!
Another great video! Thanks for allowing us to be the third wheel on an amazing ride. And can we just acknowledge those Webco handlebars for a moment...they are so good to look at! Sorry, it's the little things on these vintage bikes.....
The scenery is incredible.

Thank you so much for this very kind comment!
You are truly a lucky man! Wonderful video of how things should be.

That was awesome, thanks for taking me along!
Beautiful riding area on beautiful vintage bikes by two beautiful people.

Wish I could ride with you there!
For me, the videos that you two make are right up there with the best things on TH-cam, keep up the great work !
Fantastic sound. Nothing like an old bike sound😊😊😊
The terrific Triumph two! Looks like a great start! Might do some practice rides on terrain like the Built Well race is held on.
What a great Adventure. Best video up to now. I will keep follow your channel.

Nothing beats a good tree stump stand. Those Fox Goggles really providing her with the needed elbow protection. :)
hahaha!
Excellent!. Keep them vids coming. Take care from the UK.
Started out riding a Triumph Trophy 250...didn't know any better so rode it off road w/ trials tires. Wishnit had it now. Amal, Smith, and Lucas, all worked for some reason.😊
The Cub was my second bike that I rode a lot. Loved it.👍
Yall are going to do great!!! so happy for ya
I just love the old school handlebars. I've been looking everywhere and still cant find any.
NICE ..... MAN
THE MISSUS KICKED YOUR ASS !
EXCELLENT !!!!
ALL THE BEST FROM SCOTLAND !
lol, yeah, she rides wayyy better than him
Riding old motorcycles is always an adventure, on or off road!

Congrats on the 10K Subs too
Thanks Bill for the great video. More videos including the wife and kids really makes this channel rock. Keep up the good work👍👍
Really appreciate this comment Richard!
Wow, your wife is a very good rider! Of course the dad in me would like to see you kids wearing some knee and shin protection. Great video as always! 🤗
Bill, looks like you have the perfect wife there. Tell her I said so. Cheers! 😊
you are truly blessed! I seem to have gone a strange shade of green.......
I just found your channel today and I love it, great energy and a mix of old bikes! I've always been interested in 60's bikes but mostly of the cafe racer type. Thanks for introducing me to the off-road bikes of the era.
Right on! So glad you found the channel and happy to have you as a subscriber!
sweet ride with the lady!
my first ride after my Cushman Eagle was a 1959 T-20S Cub, nice little bike.
The scenery... just mesmerizing!! Great video!!

It's the moto-adventures that bind us!🍻

Got to watch the bottom end though. Bearing/bushing in there wears out.
We did the same thing, make do with what you have, the American way. I really enjoy your videos.
Looks like a fun time. We still have too much snow up in the N Cal Sierra's to go ride. Spring is coming!
You re so lucky to have terrain like that you can use.
Very lucky!!
You guys rock!👍
Nice ride love hearing that 40 inch Triumph but sounds like you could add some more gear to it? That was fun thanks
Great riding you two.
Wow! Love it!
It might be worth getting a sprung chain tensioner on that Cub for trail riding. I had my first Cub in the sixties, and I'm building another in the garage. Thanks for the ride. And she does look good on that Cub.
what a glorious morning with good company EDIT: loctite on spinning bolts is always good practice
It sure is!
Great video.
That girl can sure ride….definitely a keeper.
looks really fun out there!
Simplemente hermoso, me encantó verlos compartir la rodada juntos. Pura vida! ✌️😎🇨🇷🏍️
Bill and Kim. Epic my friends!
She's got skills! I love the riding coat you are wearing, and I think you have called about it in the past. Could you explain more about it in a future episode?
Kim needs to get her own TH-cam channel, it would be nice to hear her commentary on the ride and then watch your channel and hear yours 😁
Kimmy says she’s riding the 1966 triumph cub, when she does, she sounds like she’s the model announcer on a game show 😂.
Nice bikes man, very cool play ground, and she is riding with authority, check out the dirt spitting out from the rear tire when she's riding, that don't happen if you're coasting
22yrs my dude....2 & 20 years ago....(ya'll are '86ers...same age as my lil sister)
Great video Guy's and Gal's 👍
Great video , like a mini S.S.D.T. !!!! watching from Scotland .
There's nothing like a husband and wife sharing the same tastes and hobbies! I always enjoy watching your videos from Korea. May I ask you the brand and model of the wax jacket you are wearing in this video?

It’s been a long time, thanks for the correction.
late to the viewing, but it sure looks like a blast riding the trails with the wife, my wife prefers 4 wheels on the trails in her 86 Samurai.
It's all fun!
Great trip, mate.
Well people here we have the new dynamic duo , you've heard of batman and robin ...let me introduce you to SLED MAN AND CUBBY !!!!
😁😁😁, have fun !!!!!
Peace out ✌
P.s beautiful bike,beautiful wife ,beautiful ride 👍.
Well done mate 👏,three out of three .✌️

Sound advise
Mary Poppins Cub. But the race mech, has room for improvement. ;-) Great riding!
Молодцы ребята-молоды душой и телом!
Thanks!!
You can’t beat fun for a good time. And with your honey.
Amen!
What fun!
What is that strange turning knob in the centre of your steering bar?
My wife and I could never do this. Gravel is as "off road" as I like to ride and my wife would kick me off a mountain before she let me pass her.
when you did it last year did you just go at a easy pace were the bike was comfortable of did you try to go fast?
back in the day the trained ear could tell a Triumph just by the distinctive valve clatter
What!?! No bike for the baby?
Good shit❤❤❤
I can't believe you guys started dating at 14. So cool that your wire will ride vintage bikes with you...and do that Biltwell 100.
BTW... "I was messing with the chain adjusters last night" would have been used against in a court of law of something bad had happened to Kim. I'm glad she's fine and didn't go down.
That's the Elvis bike!?
Were did you get the handle bars?
Beautiful bike, beautiful area, beautiful wife, where did it all go wrong buddy? 😉
do you change the gearing for trials riding on the cub?
I’m building a 1970 Tiger for a desert sled style race - what front fork oil would you recommend ?
In my experience - the heavier the better. Start with 50W and see how you like it 👍
Oh yeah, find an P-11 Norton to work and ride on.
💪 SUPER 👍
I was wondering, do you have a set of Wentworth, to work on the old British bikes?
It's Whitworth.
Yes, it’s Whitworth, and most people will tell you need them, but I’ve made do with standard and metric and adjustables for years. The only tool I have that’s Whitworth is a hammer.
You are so lucky having a wife that follows your hobby and is a decent rider herself. My wife is not interested in anything biking, they say opposites attract.
.
I’d love a 66 bike; by birth year.
I’d also suggest knee pads guys, even innocuous tumbles hurt like a bitch when your knee takes a hit
😂😂😂😂😂😂
“ shredding “ is a term used for skateboarding or snowboarding not destroying dirt trails 😅
А почему без перчаток, рукам не холодно?
i love you guys! but maybe get a new mic? im only hearing you in my left earphone
She rides better than you LOL
Your watch doesn't match those bikes.
