Suspiciously good timing considering outerbike this weekend! Somehow I think that's not a coincidence. Thanks for a great video. Good to see the trails before I head up there!
Those new lines on Rocky Roady make it a lot more enjoyable, I remember when Nick Ice said to turn left when we rode there and I went right into the old line, didn't know they had updated it! But I also enjoy tech so I'm glad they kept the old lines in if you want to put some new scratches on your cranks and pedals. Looks like they've built some new wooden skinnies too on Knowlton and the entrance of Rocky Roady. Monkey Business is probably the best trail there, a double black Smorgasbord.
This new lines on Rocky Roady made all the difference for me in terms of enjoyment of that trail. I agree about Monkey Business. Almost certainly my favorite trail there.
Do it! Bike parks are definitely a different experience but there's no better was to get that amount of time to just focus on descending and going fast. I think I did 11,000 feet of descending on the day I filmed this. Not bad for the midwest!
Dang you make this look easy. I went on a single track trail for the 1st time on Saturday. You must practice a lot to have that much control over the bike
Yeah, if you ride out the on the all weather trail Knowlton will be on the left after you cross the road. You drop in from that parking lot on your left.
I picked up a GoPro 11 a while back and I've been playing around with using the widest view. I think I like it even though the edges get distorted a bit. Also using a chin mount on my helmet which helps smooth everything out.
Looks like great fun!
Good morning. Good to hear from you. Very nice video.
Thank you!
Nice to come along for the ride on this solo mission. Need to get back here ASAP!
Yeah man it's been riding great!

I wish I have that much forethought. Haha! Have fun!
Great real-time narration on what's going on in your head as you're navigating that trail!
Thanks! I like the videos when I do more talking. It's always going on in my head when I riding, just forget to voice it sometimes when I'm filming.

They are! When are you coming out to ride?
Great riding! You’ve successfully made me want to go ride DH park!

If you're in this area and haven't ridden park, giants ridge is much more accessible for first timers IMHO. Clear giants, and spirit is the next level
I wasn’t big into the techy side of Rocky Roady before, looks more to my liking now with the option lines. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! I like the tech but I like it better when it's fast!
Wow that was smooth 🙌
Thanks!
Love spirit mountain
Yaaay dawg!

Thanks! I hope your outing was good. Nothing better than riding singletrack in my opinion.
Is there actually a line into Knowlton Creek now? I thought it was closed down due to the SHT going through there.
Yeah, if you ride out the on the all weather trail Knowlton will be on the left after you cross the road. You drop in from that parking lot on your left.
@7:45 They since filled the gap on monkey business
What's with the extra warping at the edges of the video?
It's dizzying.
Trying out a wider view for the POV. It does tend to warp the edges.
New camera? seems way smoother.
