    Thank you... this was very helpful!Good to know about glass in the Instant Pot. The only recipe I have tried with glass is homemade eggnog, which calls for a glass bowl and you stir with the lid off. I had to go find one that fits and got a thick Pyrex bowl. By the way, the recipe which, was found online, is the bomb! Best eggnog I ever tasted, bar none.
    I have the red sling and I absolutely love it. It doubles as a great trivet in a tall 12 qt pot for small batches of water bath canning. I LOVE items that serve double duty, so it was well worth the cost to me.
    I have the cheesecake pans and never have issues with leaking, really. But I bought precut parchment paper circles on Amazon for the bottoms. Eggnog and cheesecake are two of my favorite things to make in my IP, though neither get made often. Now that I know about the small bundt pans, time to get one.

    Great content! I have found stuff at thrift stores that fit in my 6 qt instant pot nicely. Also, Aldi's often has small baking containers. You might find you already have a lid to fit, no need to buy extra. The banana bread i made was the moistest best ever, using pot in pot method with foil cover! Happy Easter and happy cooking!

    Hi there - love you! I'm wondering on your opinion of getting a combined Instant Pot/ Air Fryer like the Instant Pot Duo. What are the cons of having a combined appliance? Thanks!

    Love watching your channel. The silicon pot grips are very good to have when lifting out of the pot. Thanks for keeping the oops/bloopers in.

    I'm still new to IP. Can you use any glass jar as long as it fits inside? Like Ball jars and things of that nature?

    I love the new super yogurt and can not make it fast enough. Is the 8 quart non-stick pot able to make yogurt, ok to make this yogurt without any other containers or trivet. Directly in the non-stick pot?

    Excellent video!! I trust your advice and I can't wait to snag a higher trivet and a container 8in with a sling. I love your fast and easy instant pot book. It is easy one of the best cookbooks I've ever used due to the flavor of every dish and the fact that they include world/ ethnic dishes!

    I really haven’t ever done much instant pot cooking. But as of late I am really starting to look into more recipes. Thank you for all these recommendations. Can I ask you a ghee question? Do you have to refrigerate your ghee? And if you don’t how long is it shelf stable in a air-conditioned house?

    • @Twosleevers
      @Twosleevers  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lee Michaels you don’t have to refrigerate it and it will keep for months if you store properly. I have lots of tips on the blog on this. Google twosleevers homemade ghee

    I like the non-stick ceramic coated inner pot. It's lighter than the s/s one and although its bottom isn't completely flat, it is flatter than the s/s one; plus, depending on what you cook in it, it cleans up easier and faster. The sling trivet does keep the food or dish & food off the bottom of the pot so it is a trivet, with a sling. I use it instead of the regular trivet in the non-stick pot which is metal friendly but I use it instead, just to be on the cautious side. Thanks for this vid. I see someone else who feels much the same way as I do about these items. I'm only cooking for one so it may be because of that similarity. Thanks for including the bloopers. You had me giggling.

    Thank you so much for this video. Really helpful.
    The only thing that concerns me is the use of aluminium foil or containers for cooking. Stick with stainless steel because there is a link between cooking in aluminium and later developing dementia.
