    Thank you for this great build series. I am currently building this model and your videos not only helped me max my build, it taught me usable things that I look for in every how to. Especially the use of glue tac and weathering style in this case.

    I seriously love Mr leveling thinner. It greatly improved my airbrushing. Color modulation looks great to!

    Looks great. Tamiya paints are fantastic but way too dark out of the can.

    Hi, thanks for taking the time to make these videos! I learn so much from them. I am new to airbrushing and was just wondering what psi you set your compressor at.

    • @brucca-nyc8790
      @brucca-nyc8790  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are so welcome. For base coating, I use 15-20 psi, for more detailed air brushing i cut the painting even more with thinner and spray at 5-10 psi.

    I really enjoyed your selection of music for this video; it is my favorite Listz pieces. I was curious if you put down any varnish between paint and decals. This would affect the weathering w/ DAK brown solution.

    Awesome! You're doing a great job of bringing a 1990s level kit into the 2020s. 👍👍 Two other comments:
    1. What brush were you using to do apply the enamel pinwash? You seemed to have excellent control over the application of the wash, i.e. exactly where the capillary action would occur & precisely how much would be applied, without excess spilling/spreading away from the desired location.👍👍
    2. I'm Canadian (grew up near Toronto), and I was taught to say "deh-cals" with a shortened first syllable & the emphasis on the 2nd syllable. This is quite different than "deee-cals" as used by those in the U.S.A. (both syllables equal emphasis, with the first lasting longer), and "deh-culls" as is used in the U.K. (both syllables equal length & equal emphasis). Who knew that modellers would have to learn linguistics! lol 😉😀😁

    Great video! I have a few to say/ask but in the good way. For applying decals I reccomend to you Mr. Mark softer, it makes the process easyer. This is the first time when I see a great shaddering without oil paints, it looks cool. When you used the wash did you thinn it or did you just apply it instantly? And what was that small slab that you used while spraying the tires? Because I saw that it made it much easyer to keep the edge black, I just want to get a stuff like that. Anyway awsome job, cant wait to see the whole result.

      Thanks. I used the wash straight from the bottle and to do the wheels I used an old circle stencil thingy from the kids section in a super market.

    Hi, friend! I wanted to ask you if you use varnish to apply the decals and to protect the model from the effects of washing or it is not necessary
    ¡Regards from Spain!
    Pd: sorry again! I also wanted to ask you what primer you used. I see it's grey. ¿Is it the Tamiya spray? (Surface Primer 87042).

    • @brucca-nyc8790
      @brucca-nyc8790  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct sir. I used tamiya surface primer and I do add a satin coat for not only the decals, but also for weathering in general. Thanks for looking!

    Do you experience silvering later on due to not using a gloss coat prior to decals? Or do you use a coat and just didn’t film it?
