I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

I've heard someone once killed a titanosaur with all the effects and an explorer note buff and got around 30 some what levels late game but affective
Yeah killing a titanosaur with one 4x and one 2x note is by far the easiest
way to get level 100 because you can just use a thylacoleo and it will die really fast.

Yeah! its totally very good idea for lvl 1 human killing titanosaur.
Don't forget passive XP. As someone mentioned, you get half the xp of anything your tame kills with you riding. It also can get passive xp just like you can when a tribemate near you gains xp (but your tame has to be *ridden* to get passive xp).
Anyone who's been in a tribe knows the benefits of working together - or at least close to each other.

For #7 loot drop method, don't forget to bring a broth of enlightment, because you can also power level your chibi for those bonus 5 levels on the enraged corrupted dinos. It's the best way to level the chibi boost!
Don't forget that your character only receives half the total XP when you kill a creature while riding your own tame, whereas your ridden tame receives the full benefit.
Edit: Oh and as for #7 & #5, for those who want a slightly more cost/time efficient method, craft cooking pots for 78xp, which are small, easily placed anywhere and can be demolished for half your resources back so for every 2 you craft and demolish, you get 1 free for that cheeky bit of extra xp :) Hope this helps!

I'm a little surprised rafts made it as high as it did. Didn't think so many people used the same exp grind as me due to how much wood is needed and how much it weights.
Using rafts been around since beta, i can remember carrying mats to a tribemate to powerlevel dinos pre-grinder releases. I think it only stayed popular because grinders are expensive to make.

This works better on unofficial/10-15x servers but while doing the note run on island I will craft as many canoes as possible. Canoes give way more xp than the second best craft (cooking pots) and they are relatively cheap. And if your doing note run you will have 4x and 2x to boost your xp.

All these methods have there place depending on your level and depending on what you and your tribe have on hand.
With the alphas part, it is possible to kill alpha raptors and Carnotaurus with a wild tamed argentavis, if you fly at the right spot it won't fight back. Might take you a while though (it's possible with alpha rex as well, once again it's gonna take a while)
As with the crafting methods, build and exploit the use of a toilet. An additional 33% helps.
And with the infanticide, use tek rexes with a chainsaw to gather that xp, element dust, oil, scrap metal and electronics.
I personally like to get a sinomacrops and a decent pump shotgun and fly around the canyon on Ragnorok. Those spinos give some good xp with a broth going. Dont think back mounts take the majority of xp either so it is nice when you find alphas to just fly above them and shoot down.

Frog is best for swamp cave. Can enter and exit at will, no hangups anywhere. No cryo needed. Can fire from mount.

Dude those Magmasaurs are absolutely terrifying. My entire tribe got wiped out by them and the Bastiliks at the volcano.
For late game, killing high level giga babies and running purple drops are definitely the best methods. Others are fine for early game, they don't require as much of an investment in dinos or resources.
A level 450 giga gives you 36,720 XP on 1x. That's the highest you can get on official, at least until someone breeds R-gigas up to level 500.
Purple drop dinos spawn around level 500, so you get around 122,160 for an enraged rex - way more than the video indicates. A good way to get the max for enraged rexes is to have a fjordhawk on your shoulder so you can see when its health gets low, then jump off your giga and hit the rex with a tek phase pistol. When a ridden dino kills something, half the XP goes to the dino and half to the rider. So getting the kill yourself with as many buffs as possible (explorer notes, broth of enlightenment, etc) gets you the most.

When you show the map of the locations of the notes if you have good RNG and can make it on foot to the other side of the map red obi to herb there is a lot of notes along the way and possibly make it to lvl 80+

Deathworms are another creature that gives lots of exp when killed, or at least in my experience. If they exist on the map im on I'll mostly hunt those.
I'm kind of surprised this didn't make the list. Used to be my go to for levelling up pretty much everything on Scorched 😂
Nothing like them! My favorite leveling creatures? Deathworms and the corrupt. Leveling the Rex army with yellow OSD is 30-35 levels first drop.
I'd craft Broth of Enlightenment before hunting. Also try to grab a desert note before hand at the risk of respawning a Deathworm as that seemed easy to do with their AI.

Good list, but it also depends on what stage of the game ur in I've done all these as a 12khr player but at a high character lvl nothing beats corrupted Rexes while doing purple osd.
It also depends on your server rates. If you have OP breeding rates then baby Gigas are the best.

I did some crappy math (rasclark video idea here). In official you will need 27k 450 giga babies to reach max level on x1, around 7k on x3, this doesn't take into account any xp multipliers like broth, notes or toilet.
Top ten things to be implemented into STRUCTURES like for example in ark mobile if it’s nighttime then you can sleep and it will get rid of a lot of food and water but get a big stamina boost but on console and pc you can’t which I don’t like
WoW, actually I use the Wyvern Massacre, just tame a Lightning Wyvern, lure lots of Wyverns and start the massacre.
Little Tip/Trick for Titanosaur Speed-Kill:
Dont use wyvern or hard hitting creatures (or if you want, you better use Chinese-like perfectly maxed bred or else it takes a lot of time), better just use a Thylacoleo and bite the tail of the titano, because Thyla bites inflict bleeding that does drain 5% of his life in the span of ticking.
Is the leveling system in PC and Mobile difference or those ark survival videos I saw just has a mod that help them level up quickly I was curious cause I've been searching for hours but just see bunch of videos showing how to level up quick hope someone here can explain plz
my way of lvling up was crafting cooking pots until i got to industrial stuff after that i made a toilet and a grinder got myself a theri farmed wood pooped grinded wood and got exp while being on a small note run
I have never done anything but play the game building bases and taming dinos.

Do the creatures in the purple still scale in exp after level 150? Since they can spawn at level 400-500+ and Corrupted Creatures give a ton more exp than the normal versions, it’s my go to for endgame leveling. I honestly expected it to be higher. Not to mention no Reaper Queens even as an honorable mention is a little surprising.

Tbh I find crafting regular scopes works well
Squid trench on rag or Fjordur. Alphas spawn all the time. Tribemate lvled his chibi 0-6 in 4 or 5 hours on 3x event

You can do a pve starter map top 10 maybe because you already did that for PvP
I know my all time favorite starter pve map is Crystal Isles. Beautiful, easier than most, plenty of places to build, lots of resources.
my tip:
1. go to extinction with a top stat giga (bring tribe with Gigas if needed)
2. grab at least 3 notes for xp boost
3. go to the highly corrupted zone (area between snow and sunken forest with hordes of corrupted creatures)
4. travel through the entire zone killing everything.
there's tons of Gigas, rexes, wyverns, and much more. it's like doing a purple drop nonstop. I was able to go from 102 to 105 in very little time without using the notes so I imagine hitting the notes would help you scream through levels at a truly staggering rate. once I ascend I plan on seeing how fast this method really can be when notes are used.

I actually like good imprinted sarcos as backup for a basi. They are fast enough to keep up easily with a basi (unlike Baryonyx) and have no issues targeting things above or below you in the water (unlike shadowmanes) and an imprinted, mateboosted pair or trio can help a decent basi take out an alpha mosa pretty quickly without dealing with the turning radius issues of another basi following, particularly in the tight confines of a cave.

I just started playing this game about a month and a half ago and the only problem I have is it seems like every time I really make that next advancement I get punished for it I have to die 30 million thousand times
What map you play Nate? One good rule to remember when you die. Take a screen shot of your death marker then when you get to the area, walk away for 20 minutes. When you get back to your body, whatever killed you should be gone. Your body will be there for 30 minutes.

9xp for a cloth shirt ain’t bad. I mean it takes seconds to gather thousands of fiber with a sickle( melee weapon of choice for some ) set it and forget it.

Yeah ext runs better no doubt. Island is unplayable at the start of wipes,especially on servers like mts without whitelist. On ext at least you have the chance to join and get a couple nots before the server crashes
Honestly the best way I've found to level up is to just get to a point where you can craft a broth of enlightenment, get a wyvern or spino/rex/giga, go on a note run with that creature while consuming broths and just kill everything between the notes, can get to max level in only a couple hours after you have access to a suitable tame

Weird that crafting advanced bullets isn’t on the list. Probably because of the pve audience but if you want to fill up your turret wall and need to craft stacks of advanced you can get a tons of XP

To get 20+ levels we needed for a boss fight (80-100), we got a few x2 and x4 notes on Extinction, went back to the base, pet the lystro, used the toilet, and had a friend throw out and unclaim 2 dozen giga babies they'd been gathering in cryo pods, which we killed with a high dmg sword.
Any other xp multiplier methods we could have used?

Still prefer killing alphas over narcotics craft for the several reasons:
1) killing the alpha creature on your tamed dino will give the lots of XP for both you and your tame (and you can absolutely do this with every single creature which has the good knockback, such as the trike or chalicotherium)
2) alpha's corpse is a good sourse of the prime meat, which can be used for taming carnivores or simply cooking for food
3) alphas works not only as the XP boosts, but as the loot crates as well, granting the variety of high quality tools, such as metal picks / hatchets / cloth/hide/chitin armor / crossbows and simple pistols, as well as Rockwell recipes and alpha tributes
Don't forget chibis too 😉
@@Raasclark oh, so that's how you get them chibis aside from events. Thanks, I didn't know that! Probably, cause I've killed like 30-40 alpha raptors and carnos and still didn't get the single chibi from them. Maybe, those alphas just don't drop the chibis
