If the LEDs start to chase you don't have to press override it doesn't give you more power

What's the difference between the Noco Boost Pro GB150 3,000A 9L gas 7L diesel and the Noco GENIUS Boost Pro GB150 4,000A 10L gas or diesel?????

From what I understand the 4k gb150 didn't perform to advertisements. So they downgraded the info on the packaging

      R,
      Thanks for contacting NOCO Support.
The GB150 4000A has been replaced with the 3000A version. We revised our rating due to a change in the testing standards developed in a partnership with UL. However, the new 3000A GB150 is significantly more powerful than any previous versions. As resellers refresh their inventory, all that will be available is the 3000A version. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
      Regards,
      Chris G

Good to know. Strict standards means no fluffing the rating

I really don't know what the Guy told Me, could you explain?

What it seams is they independently tested the 4k units. And they must have maxed out under some circumstances around the 4k amps. This is where they kept the figure. But now paired with UL they are tested with a set standard and the units didn't meet their ratings. so the needed desertification to 3k amps with is probably the best outcome they had under those standards

@@josephdprive5150 Thanks! I’ve been reading up on them lately. Bought one, so here’s to hoping it lasts a long while!
If anyone is interested - Walmart has them $75 off right now, and you can buy a 4 year insurance plan with Allstate for around $40.

Good for small stuff. But stable voltage on larger projects just much help on group 31

Can it charge the battery or just jump start it

It has a mode when you turn it on, if it senses voltage . you can hear it clicking and what's happening is its pulsing 12.5v to battery. Kinda on charging it but not like traditional charger. Or you can bypass unit and will go into straight battery mode and act as a stand alone battery
