    I have one, used it today to start a back up vehicle that's been sitting, I just wanted to add one thing though NOCO recommends powering the unit off before removing the clamps

    Things got dangerous at the @4:19 mark. You should definitely turn the jumper off before you disconnect. The boost feature disables the jumpers protective features.

      also turn the jumper off as soon as you can or the alternator current will burn the jumper.

    Mr.warrior brother inc.i don't want to be smart ass but before removing clamps you have to turn off yours noco booster,when you are finished,otherwise you can damage central electronic control unit or any other,anyway good video.

    I had an issue with the boost not working on my 2005 Lexus RX 330 because the battery too low to be detected by boost, so I had to call Road-Side Service.

    I bought one yesterday. When I connect the clamps properly to the battery of my car CRV 2010, the red solid light is illuminated. I made sure that the positions of clamps are correct, but It is stated that it needs to reverse polarity. Do you why? Please help me if you know how to fix it. Thanks.

    Little bit puzzled.. I have a set of 1000 amp commercial jumper cables..there the thickness off my finger.. the noco ones seam to small for 1000 amps

    • @bluecrafter_
      @bluecrafter_ ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1000amps is a peak rating . And they can use smaller cables because they are very short and the resistance is low. They have bigger units that can crank a 15liter engine the cables on these are much thicker.

    • @ronniepierce6560
      @ronniepierce6560 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bigger thickness is good for long cable so you want have a great power loss between the good battery as you try and jump the dead battery. As one comment said, shorter cable, can use smaller thickness. Hope it help.

    The problem is when you try to jump start your car, you re gonna find out that the charger needs a jump start too. LOL

    Hello, this starter can be used in any type of batteries such as lead-acid batteries, which are the most common?

      @tollbar5468 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      According to Noco's video you can ONLY use this device on wet-leads.

    If it's like most other NOCO products, it won't last more than three months.

    • @bluecrafter_
      @bluecrafter_ ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If the battery is just slightly undercharged and won't be able to crank the car the noco will start to pump energy in the battery. Overide is used when the battery is close to dead .Then the noco won't recognise the battery. Overide also disables all safety features . If you don't know how a product works just read the manual .

    Does the black or negative cable has to go on the negative part of the batter because I watched some other videos and they put it on the metal part of the car.

    • @Digimahn-xk3jr
      @Digimahn-xk3jr 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Same thing. You can hook it to the negative terminal or engine

    • @bluecrafter_
      @bluecrafter_ ปีที่แล้ว

      You are supposed to hook it up to the battery then power on the Booster because then there won't be any sparks and power it off before disconnecting the clamps
      A dead battery can cause build up of explosive gases that's why you don't connect a jumper cable directly to the battery .
