Hello, you do some really good work brotha. I would like to send my Noco to you but I am in England. I have the same GBX155 4250A, I have checked the diode which is ok and it's showing 3.18v across the positive and negative on the battery terminals (when i hold power and light button all leds flash on then off), the capacitors visually look good and don't look blown, But it won't change, is there a minimum voltage the battery must be for it to charge with USB C? Much appreciate and God bless from across the pond 🇬🇧.
@@SOSfixElectronics Hey my brotha, i de-soldered the battery terminals from the board and used a 12v (2-4a) battery charger to bring the voltage up to about 12.8 volts then put on charge with a usb for 2 days. And now it works great. Thank you very much for putting out informative content.
I have a GBX155 mine is charged however it won’t output power or boost anything. The light works however looks like not all of it is on. Just wondered where I should start or how to go about fixing.
So in this video nothing been fixed, as only needed to charge battery. On gb 150 charging current goung up to 1.6A from usb is it not too high? Shouldn't it be just below 1.5A?
@@SOSfixElectronics i got on one of my gb150 power button push turning one, then press again coming up 100% green light, press again may click boost relay with voltage indicator and all this from onr power buttom and randomly. Any idea what can couse that?
Hi, I have used a Dc power supply to charge a flat battery to 12v However when i swap over to usb c the red charging light comes on and only 1 red bar 25%. Any ideas
@@NAY2GAS Tried that would not work. However i have fixed it. I just charged it with DC a little longer and slightly bumped up the Amp. All works as it should thanks to this video 👍
Tengo un problema he puesto a cargar el arrancador noco3000ah,en una grúa que es de 24v y el arrancador es de 12v y ahora no arranca los vehículos pero supuestamente está cargado completo y enciende la linterna que le abra pasado
Displey on gb150 showing voltage vhen you connect clamps to the battery. If battery is fully dead, it is not showing any thing. If battery has like 6-9 v it is showing battery voltage. When you syart engine it should show around 14v. This is volage of battery when alternator charging it. If you see on running motor about 12.5v mean alternator need attention
Hello. Is there a way that you can comment with the address where we would need to send out the GBX155 in order to get it fixed by you? How much do you charge to get it fixed?
@@dougybach The GBX155 does have a 4 cell battery pack, open circuit voltage is over 16v when charged. The lower end models GBxx have only three cells.
@@NAY2GAS I did. The charging indicated fast charge for a few seconds then went off and red light came on. I fixed it in the end by following the guide and charging a little longer. All works fine now
Great work - thank you for sharing, your insights are helpful
Good work and pointers, cheers.
Glad to help
Great stuff
Could you share where you obtained the battery replacement? I'm from the UK and I would like to learn and have a go

Hello my noco have problem..
@@arthurdavis8122True, the car charger cigarette lighter socket will charge it directly even when voltage is too low. Then USB will work again.
