Awesome episode Tyler👍🏻 was born and bred in Coffs spent years 4wding and riding motos there before moving to the Sunny Coast. Hey from a viewers perspective don’t be shy to make your episodes longer nobody watches free to air anymore we all just hangout for awesome TH-cam content like your channel! Cheers 😎👍🏻
Cheers mate! Yeah the issue is I just cant get enough content for that, a lot of work to put together a 20-25 minute every week in regards to filming and editing and going away and costs etc. I could do a longer video every second weekend but that would only hurt my channel and growth. TH-cam rewards more consistent uploads
2 Vehicle...2 lockers...beautiful nature...exciting trails...nice food...camp fire...Son..Father and Grand Father...these are the ingredients for a great trip and it was...enjoying to watch...thanks for sharing
Another set of battle scars for both vehicles but I agree the bush and creeks are worth the battle to get to for solitude. Good camera work as usual and compliments to the ‘Master’. Cheers. 👍🏻🙏🏽😷🦘
Cheers for another great vid! Great seeing the three of you out on trips together, and the differences between the Nav and the MUX. Just wondering if you guys get many mechanical issues/breakages and how you deal with them?
Onya mate another bloody ripper flick, we loving the Aussie outback places over your way. the start point of your trip........maaaaaate what gem. beats this sandy dessert here in Saudi . Cheers from 2 west aussies in Saudi
Mate, you really need to move on from the “quickie” deflator and progress to the camp boss deflators that can be set to your preferred psi without tools. They are heaps quicker, by the time I have attached the fourth one the first one is pretty much finished, and so much less fiddly because you are not removing then re-installing the valve cores. Love the upright fridge, you are so right about the massive weight associated with big chest fridges and drop down slides, keep up the great work 👍😊
Another awesome video. Certainly pays to have a rear differential when you needed it. Nice to see how some tracks change in dry and wet conditions and over a period of time some tracks get worse and can challenging. 🇦🇺👍🏼😎
Great episode. Thanks for the terrific content. I'm a newbie to the 4wd scene and watching these videos shows what maybe possible one day. For now I'll just stick to the Brindies near my home.
I had 3 days in The Otway’s planned over last weekend & Monday, but those stooges at Victoriastan Govt shut us all in for the sake of a few ppl already in quarantine. Looking forward to this new series to keep me motivated & bolster my dwindling spirits 👍🏻🇦🇺😷
Thanks mate! Yep so just in reference to the fact that when you're car is unlocked the wheels will start spinning and stop before you get on a lot of weird angles/big wheel lifts etc. Whereas once you have a locker and even more so two lockers, the 4wd will continue to drive through big wheel lifts, weird angles etc, basically just drive itself until its on it side/rolls etc if you aren't experienced with line placement/4wding on tougher tracks
@@TylerThompson90 thanks for quick response. Yes, you are right. I have always had rear locker. Now, I am going in for the front locker as well in my Y62 Patrol. I have to watch my choice of line carefully as you said but I may be able to be a bit slower instead of relying on momentum. May be.
Very enjoyable viewing. How has your dad fastened his max trax to his vehicle. Do you have a view about the difference in effectiveness between your dad’s snorkel and your snorkel
Good stuff mate, looks like your Dad's lovin' the Elocker. Great to see your doing some semi hardcore 4WDing, that new rear suspension sure has some flex to it. Did you have to put coil retainers in? Look forward to the next episode.
T/T. Sensible articulation in the Nav' bit by bit with what this YT Channel can do ! Does one think a body lift might help with clearance for rubbing or is it illegal ? V.
Don't worry mate. Its no shame to be beaten by Coffs. Its another reason to come back! We haven't had much rain for a few days now and things are drying. It might be driveable by August!
Excellent content as always. Can you please research camping in river beds and its consequences. Youll never camp in a river bed again when you are educated on the catastrophic out comes. Stay safe out there. Love your channel.
As a local to this area, it takes some pretty catastrophic rain to make that particular creek system dangerous and I'd like to think Tyler is on top of weather events and wouldn't risk it in that scenario. You are absolutely correct tho where you might park down stream of a larger river system and it rains upstream which floods lower down. Absolutely Dangerous but in this case this is pretty much the head water of this system.
Cheers mate. Yeah we check the weather before we go and was all clear, as said above pretty small catchment area so unless getting torrential rain within a 10km area of where we were you are all safe
Air tyres down to 10psi . If u loose traction turn the wheel to find traction left to right never full send just crawl I garentee u would walk up easy with low tyre pressure
I can guarantee you wouldn't lol. I was at low tyres pressures. You go to army trail in Coffs when its wet and show me the video of your crawling up it easy 👍

Thanks mate!
so glad to see father with you again..he`s for sure happy with his new locker..sending greetings from Slovakia..stay safe and healthy all of u!
Thank you 🙏
Another great trip in my backyard. It’s amazing how much the tracks change. Been a while since I did lionels, army and morbid. Keep living the dream.
Yep they are pretty rough now!
Pulling Kai from school to go camping! What a legend!
Some great driving skills on show here! Fabulous filming! 👍
Thank you! 👍

Rear locker what a game changer 👍🏴
That river camp is spectacular
Ridden all those tracks years ago on trail bikes great fun
Great episode Tyler. Love the opening scene, magical spot. Looking forward to the next installment. Safe 4x ing.
Thanks mate!
Great video mate just wounding how you go with your ABS lines with all that down travel as mine is pretty tight cheers
Again another great episode. I too love the coffs coast, an amazing area to 4x4
Cheers mate
What an incredible camp spot. Wow
Great episode.
Consistently awesome videos Tyler. Love it
Thank you!
42 seconds in, you nailed that intro!
Thanks mate
Thx Tyler....great vid. Just couldn't quiet hear what was said @15:55
Thanks mate, that was me laughing in the background haha
Great episode again 👍
Good work and commitment with the camera Ki 👍

great trip. down morbid you bulldozed the rut ridge away. no hope of driving up that hill.

Tough stuff buddy, definitely need good front end bash protection, camp spots getting better every time bro 👍👍👍🔝🔝
Thanks 👍
Didn't you take a jimny through coffs once? If so, which vehicle did you prefer?
Good to see some South Australian cans in your fridge mate!

Hopefully you can get out there soon mate!
@@TylerThompson90 Might try for some more leave in November, let the tracks dry out a bit. Not so cold.
Excellent presentation as usual. You mention the danger in twin lock. Please throw some light on it mate
Thanks mate!

if Ronny Dahl camped next to that river it would of broken its banks
Yeah you wouldn't want any rain upstream in that spot, especially considering the road out is the creek itself.
MUX is quite the weapon now! looks like a solid trip so far!
Yep big difference with the locker!
Another great video 👍
good stuff Tyler 👍✌
Very enjoyable viewing. How has your dad fastened his max trax to his vehicle. Do you have a view about the difference in effectiveness between your dad’s snorkel and your snorkel
Cheers! Never noticed in difference in effectiveness to be honest. He has used one of the TRED mounting packs to do it
What’s the name of the river u camped at the start of the vid?
Good stuff mate, looks like your Dad's lovin' the Elocker. Great to see your doing some semi hardcore 4WDing, that new rear suspension sure has some flex to it. Did you have to put coil retainers in?
Look forward to the next episode.
Thanks mate! Yep coil retainers and extended brake lines
Tough tracks... But great to watch.. TT.....
Sorry if it’s been asked, but what locker did the old boy get in the mux?
Harrop E-locker mate
I did this track earlier this year with my son, it's a tough track alright even in the dry
Sure is!
Do you ever go fishing in any of these beautiful creeks?
Na not really, dad fishes sometimes on the trips
Tyler did you get that steering rack issue sorted on the Nav? What was the issue?
The loose rack end from a few months back? Nissan just replaced it for me
T/T. Sensible articulation in the Nav' bit by bit with what this YT Channel can do ! Does one think a body lift might help with clearance for rubbing or is it illegal ? V.
Cheers mate! Yeah body lifts are illegal im fairly sure, plus would raise my centre of gravity
Hang on, putting it on pause, running down the servo to get an iced coffee then ill come home and press play
The rear locker on the Isuzu looks like it's made a huge difference.
What song is that at 19.30?
Song is 'magic', not sure the artist. Got it off a website I use called 'artlist'
Don't worry mate. Its no shame to be beaten by Coffs. Its another reason to come back! We haven't had much rain for a few days now and things are drying. It might be driveable by August!

Nope, what is it

@@TylerThompson90 please don't take it heart I really love your channel and video's mate was just thinking you might get a Lough out of it
You know the vids are cool if non 4wders enjoy em. Someone make an app for go pro that shows how steep hills. Proper stuff. 👍
😂 another one for your dad he needs a rear bar, every time the back gets close 😳
Haha yeah its a bit dinted up now
Bit hard to beat greasy clay on such a steep incline without possibly damaging something.
You should get a front locker, would make life easier, less wear and tear on the back and the vehicle.
Yeah I am getting one soon

Iv done heaps of wet weather wheeling bro on tracks that make that track look like a fire trail . Just some friendly advise 👌
🤡
Would you let people tag along with you?
Not something we do at this stage mate
Love the videos, subtitles on the other hand are annoying
TH-cam adds the subtitles in, not me. You can turn them off though, its one of the buttons on the bottom of the video
@@TylerThompson90 all good mate I'm kind of new to all this you tube stuff still working it out.
