Idk what ever I try for this challenge even when trying to follow people's advice, I never seem to manage to come to a point where I can take a breather and actually position my characters strategically. Retrying this challenge take so much time just to fail again it's honestly not fun at all.
If you are really daring, get boos immediantly and use mario and luigi to hero shot him to death, and use their normal weapon attacks if you couldn’t finish the job.
Aaumond I beated this challenge with only Rabbid Luigi standing (I was with Peach with 755 HP) thanks to his dash. (Upgraded to the max the % drained and with his 100% crit weapon, he can heal himself all of his HP)
Rabbid Luigi is busted strong, his dash is insane with that vamp effect. I beat this with him and Luigi just dashing and long distance healing where necessary (their weapons got some long range)
Yeah these generic blue areas feel like they were designed in the last minute. It looks the kind of place you’d test your moves, not fight the biggest battles of your life.
Tip: kill junior ASAP. First turn not necessary but recommended. After that, boos and teamjump to get to the upper ledge will give you a major advantage for most of the fight

When you kill the enemy the boo detaches. In the old version, it would detatch after his animation. Now, he detaches IMMEDIATELY and locks onto the character that dashed.
Updates changed it so it now immediately attaches to you if you dash through them, instead of giving a bit of time in between. Aka, it's even harder now
It'd be cool if it actually worked this way. I have to do it differently from like the first or second turn. I've come close but still can't get through it. Another one of these videos (I forget who the creator was), the world 4 challenges (#10) didn't work either but I was able to improvise & it was similar enough that I was able to get through it but this one not even close after the first few turns it goes so differently I can't get through.
Keep Rabbid Luigi close by. Alternatively, use Peach's teamjump for more gradual healing Or, Rabbid Peach in a tight spot. Take your pick. My team was Mario-Rabbid Luigi-Peach and I won with Peach having a weak weapon, so prioritizing healing works.

Yeah, this one reeks of luck based gimmicks. You have to have everything go *JUST* right.
My tips for this: Take care of BJ from a long range. Avoid boos while BJ is still alive. When he dies, boos will be your friends.

The Ultimate Challenges are supposed to be the hardest content in the game, giving you end game weapons for all character as a reward.
