I have a 2010 Venza with 135,000 and still runs like a champ. Other than regular maintenance, zero problems in 11 years. Best car I have ever owned. My kids want me to get a Tesla but I tell them every month without a $700 month car payment is more for their college fund. Great having a paid off and reliable car.
I have 2010 venza 4 cylinder 96,000 miles brought it used in 2013 with 25,000 miles. I love this car had to replace alternator and battery plus tires. Needs paint job but other than that still looks good.
Camry motors are amazing! I am driving a 1999 Toyota v6 Solara/Camry. 24 years old and 336,000 km and still running great. But today I bought a 2014 Venza as I have grand children now and I need car seat safe vehicle my old Camry didn’t come with car seat, tether bolts. I hope your family gets as many miles on your Toyota as I got on mine.
One of my top 3 features that Im surprised you did not mention is the keyless entry. The fact that the Venza has a sensor to your key and when in close proximity recognizes it and it opens up and unlocks. It is extremely accurate cool little feature. Even if youre close and someone else tries opening it but does not have the key fob in their pocket it will not open. Oh and it also has keyless locking. Yes! Keyless locking. While the key fob is inyour pocket you can swipe the door handle with your finger and it will lock your doors for you. So you can practically leave your keys in your pocket all day, no need for them in this car as long as you have them on your person. Very cool feature for a 2010!! So many things I love about this vehicle. Mine is a 2010. I absolutely love the Bluetooth feature. How I push start my car on and my music automatically starts to play. Also love the body style and the panoramic moon roof. The trunk is very nice as well. So many nice compartments, handles and places to put things, even the trunk cover is nice. The interior of this car is impeccable. Extremely well thought out and designed. The exterior is not bad as well. I was thinking more of a T-rex or a Triceratops vs a shark lol
I bought my 2011 Venza V6 three months ago in June 2021 with 220,000 miles on it. It somehow still drives like new, the engine is strong, no rattles or dash lights or problems of any kind. The original owner I bought it from was a helicopter pilot who drove regularly from Phoenix to Washington state, so a lot of highway miles. He handed me a 2 inch thick service record which was done at dealerships over 10 years. I read through it, mainly oil changes, 3 windshields, 4 sets of tires and front ball joints about a month before I bought it. The tires are 3 years old and all evenly worn so I don't think it needed ball joints. They don't call them 'stealerships' for nothing. Overall it's a great, but weird car. The shifter is in an odd position and I banged my wrist on it regularly for the first month reaching for things until I got used to it. It gets worse mileage than I'd hoped. The turning radius is pretty wide. The endless bells and chimes for everything is annoying. I've been playing with the settings, trying to get them to quiet down but with little luck. After my last attempt, the power hatch refused to open, it would just beep when I'd push the button on the dash and do nothing with the fob. I reset to factory default and it's working again, but the constant beeps and chimes and horn honking... 😖 The rear video backup screen is so tiny it's practically useless and if the sun shines on the dash, you can't see anything through the glare, but it still works fine otherwise. The Bluetooth connection is the worst I've ever used. It takes forever to figure out how to link your phone then drops it every time you turn off the car. You have to start all over again. I'm tempted to pull the stock head unit out and replace it with something newer, but I'd like to leave it stock. With that said, there's nothing else I have any issues with this car. The front wheels like to peel out with the slightest touch of the throttle so at least it still pulls strong. New, grippy tires would probably help with that. I sold my '17 Tundra for $3k more than I paid for it new in June and bought this Venza for $6500 cash. I've somehow always had good luck buying used cars and trucks with high mileage and few problems, though I've probably just jinxed myself for admitting that. I'm not a mechanic, I'm just anal about quality and can usually spot garbage at first sight. This car was nicely detailed on first sight, so that makes it easy to cover things up. I look at the drivers seat, the pedals, check for anything worn on the inside, the carpets and upholstery, the headliner, passenger door, back seat area and glove box. You can usually spot kids or dogs or rough treatment of the interior that way. Dogs love to tear up door panels and arm rests. Nothing like that here. I also check to see if the tires are matched, evenly worn and even if the date codes are close to each other. (There's a four digit code on every passenger tire sold in the US. First two numbers are the week and 2nd two are the year of manufacture. 4017 would mean 40th week of 2017, for example. I replace my tires at 4 years because Phoenix heat kills rubber and I don't like changing flats in 110 degree temperatures) I usually stick my finger in the tailpipe and if it's black and wet, no thanks. And of course plug in a scanner to check for codes if there's no dents, scratches, if the paint isn't peeling and if I otherwise like the car. I won't look at one that is overpriced and I never low-ball. If I really like the car after all that I'll tell the seller to give me their best price and I'll buy it now. They nearly always come down a bit, but this guy wouldn't which was fine. I handed him cash after checking the title and that was that. He even mailed me the other key fob when he found it and I got it today. The battery was dead so I was looking on TH-cam for a video on replacing it, which I found. Then this video started auto playing while I was checking Walmarts website for the battery (2 in stock!). You got me thinking what my impressions were of this car and I like it. I've been driving pickups for over a decade so this is different. I'm not confident I can jump a curb or go off-road to avoid a traffic jam anymore, but it rides quiet and smooth and gets better mileage than my Tundra so I'm happy. Plus it's basically a Toyota Camry (which means it's pretty much the best quality car you can buy) with a hatch back and can tow 3500 lbs, so I can always rent a small trailer if I need a truck bed for something. This car came with the tow prep package (Google 'Toyota VIN decoder' and you'll find what your vehicle came with from the factory by the VIN number). The tow prep package means I just have to install a trailer wiring harness (done) and install the appropriate hitch (on it's way). I don't plan on towing regularly, just small stuff around town if needed. Since it's basically a Camry, I expect to get another 200,000 problem free miles from it, if I keep it that long. My 4 year old Tundra only had 30,000 miles on it so I may not even put 50,000 on it before I get bored and go look for another project. Buying new isn't the best way to spend money, especially on a Toyota. You can get a used one for half the price of new or less and let the original owner take the loss financially. As long as they changed the oil consistently and didn't bang it into curbs or otherwise abuse it, (never buy rentals!) then you have an excellent chance of buying a good used car with no problems that will last longer than most non Toyota new cars will. This is lengthy. Maybe I should record my own review... 🤔
@@JenniferJohnson-fh8fx have it checked out by a good mechanic. I've had three mechanics check mine out over the past two years and none of them can find anything wrong with it other than the rear brakes are now worn out. These cars are tanks. I'm up to 239,000 problem free miles now. Good luck. They're good used cars.
@@mrv9916I have a ‘15 LE with the 2.7L i4 engine. Bought it last year with 100K miles. I’m gonna baby it and do all the maintenance on it. I joined a Venza FB page, and there are people who are turning over 300K, 400K miles plus, and are still in good running condition. 😃👍🏼
@@GemmyDonCarsit’s because of this review that I bought a 2015 Venza LE. It’s a base model with the 2.7L i4 engine with FWD. Nothing to write home about, but in a few years I’m retiring, so this vehicle checks all the boxes for me. I joined a Venza FB page, and many of those people are turning over 300K, 400K miles plus, and are still in great running shape.
2010 V6, 75000 miles. Just replaced the original brake pads/rotors, no problems with the vehicle at all. I wish Toyota would bring them back; I’d stand in line to buy another!
I have the 2010 with 103k miles. I love it! Took it on a 13 hour road trip in the 1st month I had it. I'm replacing the rear struts soon and my rear differential has a leak. But other than that it drives like a new vehicle. Definitely wish they still made them
I have a 2013. Same here no problems. I never had a Toyota before and wasn't even looking for anything like this. It just stuck out to me. Felt good inside and out. Got it used at a Hyundai dealership in 2017 with 22,000 miles on it. It's been nice not to have to go 2 or 3 times a year for repairs as I was accustomed to. I would buy again if they still made them.
I have a 2012 XLE AWD. For me it is the perfect car. I agree on your favorites. However I can't say enough how well it handles & this car has incredible power. It also amazingly comfortable. I will drive mine anywhere. I also have had error free running since it was new. My wife loved it & I do to. It is a shame that Toyota stopped making this car. I mean its a crossover wagon. Way back Nissan used to call the maxima the 4 door sports car. This Toyota is the ultimate sports wagon that you can load it up & go anywhere. Drive it to work & around town. It's just an awesome car.
Mine have 109k miles and has not given me any issues I love this car.....Im going to get the toyota Sierra for my wife....but man toyota makes great reliable vehicles
Love my Venza also. One thing that gets over looked is the higher than average ground clearance. I spend some of my time on lightly travelled roads in Northern Ontario's cottage country. My car has never bottomed while others have.
Ed, I hope you get this, as you commented 2 YEARS AGO!!! Would you be able to tell me, PLEASE, what the ground clearance is?? I have a wonderful lil 2004 Sooby that I can’t drive anymore due to a broken hip, so must replace her. Subarus are known for their ground clearance; however, this Toyota doesn’t LOOK like it has the Sooby’s 8+” of clearance. MANY thanks for whatever help I can get!!
@@kkrolf2782 Ground clearance for my Venza is just a hair over 8 inches. It's been able to handle any country backroad or cottage driveway I've come across. Although it is 4wd I wouldn't recommend going off road due to it's long wheel base. When my daughter and I go hunting, her Forester is our 1st choice.
Your exactly right everything you said and more we love this car. We have a 09 and will never ever trade it in. My wife searched for months and months until till she found our baby and we are glad we did. It looks and rides awesome. We get so many compliments when out it puts a smile on both our faces.
This is a great video. I have a 2013 venza and I love it! I commute 60 miles a day and road trip from California to Arizona and you are right, its super comfortable! It’s a a great car.
Best car I ever owned , lost my 2009 to an accident, I was so devastated that I had to buy another one a pearl white 2016 Awd limited , hope to keep this car forever!!!!
I have a 2011 Venza with a 2.7 I’m with you I love this car,I have 185,000km approximately 250,000 miles without any mechanical problems,I have the same problem with the roof trim piece that bulges up on the same side as yours you still can’t beat Toyota dependability, just do your regular maintenance.Great videos
I just bought a used 2013 Venza 2.7L Limited with only 64k-km on it. Today is 2019 but the looks and style of the car is still at par with the new ones. I have been on the look-out for some time on one of this in 2.7L but very seldom are selling it (many are selling 3.5L engines). I guess they gonna keep them for life. This car are for keeps!
@@kalimann2766I have a 2015 Venza LE with the 2.7L i4, FWD. On average, my highway mileage runs anywhere between 26 - 31 mpg depending on my speed, and the temperature, terrain, etc.
Markiefantone, I just bought a 2015 Venza LE with the 2.7L i4, FWD, 100K miles. While car reviewers are hopped up on the 3.5L V-6, that 2.7L on mine still drives smooth and will crank to 90 mph easily, but still feels like 60 mph.
I have a 2012 Venza that I bought almost over three years ago. I LOVE it. No problems what so ever. Plus I agree with your take on the look of the car. Mine has chrome bumper guards and they look really nice on it. Incidentally, I have a 4 cylinder and it has the 20" wheels. Different rims though. The only thing I would do differently is leather seats. My are fabric and they tend to look a bit dirty if I don't keep up with it. Plus, Ive heard leather is more comfortable.
Yeah, I am still ok with the grill with more lines, but the update is sharp. I really like the updated headlights with the LEDs that make it look like the Venza has fangs.
I have the exact same vehicle. I bought it used and it was not well taken care of by the previous owner. Having said that there were a few issues. 1. The viscous coupler went at about 190km (I am in Canada) that was an expensive fix and it turned out to be a manufacturer defect. It was covered if you had a RAV 4 but not for the Venza or the Lexus RX350. 2. Wheel Bearing (OMG the wheel bearings!) I have replace the fronts twice on them. And so far so good. Apparently its a Toyota Issue. Other than that I had, to change out the Struts at (220KM) and went with KYB. A bit of a stiffer sporty ride which makes it more fun to drive and on the highway its like you are in a Gulfstream Jet. I also went with wider tires 255 instead of 245's went with Toyo Versado's . Great tire handles well corners like a go-kart ,very smooth and they last. Also they look great. People who have Venza's always comment that they like the look and stance of my car but they can't put their figure on it. Then I point out the tires. Its sedate but stylish. Overall I really love this car it has had its issues but its comfortable, performs well in city and highway and looks great when cleaned up. If you are looking for a good car and want to pay cash I would go with this. Also one more thing its has the exact same drive-train as the Lexus
Love this video. Even tho it was made years ago its still helpful. Bought my venza during covid & it was the best decision ever. The truck & size of it is my favorite part besides it being reliable. My girls are in color guard & their flag poles fit perfectly in truck thanks to it being a hatchback. All of our luggage also fits and there is at least 4 of us traveling. I commute to oakland from Fresno and parking is a nightmare in oakland. This car is big enough to be comfortable & for me to be able sleep across the back seat (graveyard shift lunch naps) but is also small enough for me to fit in smaller parking spots. Its the perfect travel/commuter car. Put 50,000 miles on it since I got it & it still runs excellent. Driven it all over California & to Nevada & even to utah.
I bought a used 2015 Venza XLE 3.5L with 111K miles two months ago. I drove out of state 3.5 hours to pick it up. Outside of performing baseline maintenance on it, no major repairs or issues. Looking forward to running the wheels off!!
For those of you facing 4 proper seasons I recommend toyo proxes-s tires as I found the Michelin’s couldn’t get up certain snowy hills on bad days. Will also save you some nice cash in the process.
My mom has a 2012 le and it was fast until 3 years ago, it treated us well. We went from Alaska to Florida, back to Alaska, and now in Vegas all driving. The car has no problems.
My mom has a 2013 toyota venza and I love it! Wish i could take it from her haha. Even though I do like my 2013 Rav4. I love Toyota. I never plan on changing manufacturers. Before the Rav4 I had a camry and it was also a great car. We were able to get 21 years out of it!
We Snowbird to Arizona, our 2012 Venza has been the perfect car seven months it just sits in the garage when we arrive It’s always ready to go. Dark metallic gray 19 inch wheels, dark windows and lots of room for our friends, 6:31 it’s our frog car will have it until we croak😊
We bought our 2009 off the show floor, looks identical this car. Bought it when we had babies and 10 years later it’s still rolling. Only at 71k miles. Has aged very well and we didn’t baby the exterior. Same issue with the roof trim. Only issues are the rear suspension is currently making some rumbling noise and the steering column makes a sound in the cold. Good car no regrets. Plan on keeping it a long time. It’s our family truckster!
just bought a 2013 Limited. love it! agree with everything you said. I have had many Toyotas in my day but the Venza struck me with the feel of a luxury European made car. very refined and quiet. smooth. Details of even how the windows goes up and down. Just the overall feel. Look forward to do many long trips in it. Also storage in it is crazy good 👍🏼
Bring back the Venza Toyota!!!! I have a 2013 4 cylinder and it is a work horse because i put in a lot of miles. Only real issue I have are the rear brakes. i'm going through my 3rd time around with rotors and pads. Other than that I will keep it until the wheels fall off or the brakes :).
For whatever reason I started watching videos about my car (2012 Venza LE FWD, 4-cyl) and you've pretty much summed up all the reasons I love mine and have been quite happy with it. After decades of GM/Chrysler and one Volvo that I dearly miss, now sort of regret not having a Toyota before.
What are some realistic mpg numbers for your FWD 2.7L? I’ve been leaning towards that engine platform because I just don’t really need the extra power, I’ll drive conservatively and I find in-line four-cylinders much easier to work on than a bigger engine. Thanks for your time
@@justingillis3530 I am getting 23 mpg highway driving -- I commute 50 miles a day (25 up and 25 down), 5 days a week. Kind of disappointing but factoring in during Wicked Crazy Oklahoma 100-degree + wx this summer I'm also running the AC a lot more than I normally would.
@@justingillis3530 I’m looking at 2010 93k mi trying to find ways to get the dealer to come down from $14k Any thoughts or does that sound fair in todays bloated market?
The wifey and I just traded our 07 Mazda cx7 with turbo for the 2014 Toyota Venza at 35000 miles and so far we love it. It is comfortable love all the gadgets and love the look.. A smooth ride. Note we also have a 06 Nissan altima and a 07 Subaru outback
Enjoyed your video..I just inherited a 2009 Venza 2.7l w/59k from my Sweet Loving Aunt who is widowed and doesnt drive anymore. I absolutely Love this car....I feel like I have a brand new car. .....
bought a 2014 V6 XLE 4 months ago and I LOVE it. 37,000 miles 1 owner all service records. took it for pre-inspection and the mechanic asked if I wanted to sell it. yeah the mpg sucks but what a great car.
Enjoy many trouble free miles. My 2010 V6 is at 170,000 miles and running like the day I bought it. It's needed 2 sets of shocks, 2 alternators and 2 batteries over 7 years. The rubber oil cooler line that is known to blow was replaced at 134,000 miles, almost took the engine out with it. Keep an eye on that
Mine was a big change from the 1997 SR5 4Runner Manual I had for 8 awesome years. I never wanted to move on until I drove a Venza. Which I bought 10 minutes after the test drive. Get black if you can. You will feel like a bit of a hotshot for 1/2 the price of a 2011 4Runner
The Venza is been around for number of years already. People don't shop for older-look product much. However, I think the look of it never going to get old. I give the Venza inside and outside look with a 10/10. And I am not sure why Venza isn't well advertised in the States. I guess when people shop for a car, they only have sedan in their mind. Only Camry/Corolla/Civic in their heads when comes to cars. To Brian: Lexus is not a clone of anything. If you notice one thing about Toyota/Lexus that stands out from other manufactures is that each different car has its only design/feel/look to it. You don't find too many parts being shared across board. You won't feel like you are driving a Corolla once you enter a Camry etc. That what makes this Venza so much outstanding than many other models that they have. For example if you've been into a Nissan Rouge, you will notice that it kinda uses the same steeling wheel as the Sendra and some other models. Another reason for the Venza doesn't come with a Lexus badge is prolly just because the build quality isn't there. You get what you pay for out of a Venza. There are many design flaws you can find in a Venza that doesn't meet the Lexus standard. However, most of these aren't big issues when it comes to everyday driving. But then again, I can see myself buying another car like the Venza in coming years if Toyota/Lexus is willing to produce a similar product after the Venza.
I've had my 2016 from new. I love it. I pretty much like everything about it, especially the look and the v6 with awd. The only things I don't like are the turning radius and the clear coat. The clear coat is soft and scratches way too easily.
Just bought a Toyota venza AWD 2.7 2012 with 79k miles . I'm researching ran into this . Read the video comments I'm feeling support. Love and work at Toyota. Can't go wrong.
Same, i have a 2011 venza 4 cylinder and i just hate the 19 inch rims. The rubber piece on top comes off also sometimes but other than that, hasnt given me a problem at all!
I just got a 2012 V6 AWD LTD Venza the other day, I have been thinking about trading in my sporty Scion iM for something older but with more features, but sticking with Toyota. Your review, both the Love & Hate videos, contributed to my decision. I love the car overall. Fuel economy is the largest drawback thus far, going from a CVT 4 cylinder to a AWD V6. In this economy I might be considered crazy, but I was never truly happy with my iM. I have been thinking over the Venza for the better part of a year once I realized what value they are, and your review talking about reliability and features really helped. I've got the same model you do, with the sun/moon roofs and I love it.
Just went from 2014 Kia Sorento to the 2014 Venza and I must say I love it. The headlights are better than the Sorento and the tow package is better than my previous FWD Sorento. The moon roof in my Sorento was better, but I like this little guy quite a bit! Good video.
Me and my wife have a Maroon Venza and I love it! No issues what so ever! I'm thinking of buying another one for for myself my wife drives it now lol. I love the Awd and and shift able auto trans. Id recommend it to anyone looking for a suv even though its classified as a wagon.
We have a 2013 V6 XLE. Loved the look of the open face 5 spoke 20” wheels as well, interior is nice, has all the tech you really need, like the cellphone holder with cable routing, rear passenger room, ect. Great daily driver! And I love the power of the V6 paired with the 6spd tranny. Handling is good but turning radius is bad.
I also have the 2011 Venza, but the 4 cylinder model. Right now it has about 130K miles. Had to replace the rear-wheel bearings and the gas tank heat shield came loose.
I just bought a 2011 Venza V6, and I agree with everything that you said. Thoughts: I do have an issue with a brake light that randomly comes on. Not a big deal, since my pads and rotors are new! Pushed and released the parking brake, and that’s not it??!! Have you heard if this is a thing? BTW, love your videos... PEACE
My spouse has a 2013 4 cyl. We both love it for the space and comfort BUT: I has the annoying rattle on cold startup that Toyota would repare up to 60,00KM here in Canada. Of course the problem started after that and it's a very costly repair. Won't cause any problem except the horrible loud noise it makes for a few seconds. Unless you want to spend way over $1000, you learn to live with it but will be a concern when trading or selling. So if you are looking for a used Venza, make shure you start it when the ENGIN IS COLD cause many have that problem.
3:18 I think those wheels in this car are not an advantage but are a bad features because of the shaking that’s caused by the car large wheels, I got a 2009 Venza AWD and it shakes too much! Especially when I drive it in the city
Got a 2012 XLE AWD V6 and I love it. I can fit a twin-sized air mattress in the back, making it great for camping, and it holds all my stuff for field work during the week. I don't have the navigation package, so the camera being up in the middle and on such a small screen is kind of annoying because it's susceptible to glare. The turning radius is a bit wider than what I am used to, but isn't too bad. It doesn't have the biggest tank, either, so getting 20mpg means about 300 mile range or so (I used to have a car with a 20 gal tank and got 25mpg, so there's a big difference). The ride is a bit bumpy from the low profile tires. It is stylish and well-featured, though. Everyone remarks that it has a lot of room. It climbs up hills very well and has a powerful and robust engine. There are tons of 12v jacks in this car, too - passenger side, trunk, console, and maybe I am forgetting a couple, but you get the idea. The center console having two very deep compartments is handy as well - you can fit a 5th of alcohol in the rear of the center console. The air conditioner takes no time to get the car very cold.
2013 Venza LE. Bought it used with 30,000 miles on it for 15 G's. It has the 2.7 liter, 4 cylinder engine and has no problem getting out of its own way. I thought that I had a serious problem with it when the door lock system apparently failed. The hatch lock was jammed and it took a lot of finagling to get it open. Once open, I discovered that all the system needed was a reboot by disconnecting the battery. Once reconnected all was back to normal. The only other issue was the plastic oil filter cartridge. I broke a tool trying to undo this and had to take it to a garage for an oil change. I am upgrading this on my next oil change. Overall it is a great car. Smooth on the road with lots of comfort and power. Toyota did not completely get rid of this model. They moved it up to the Lexus line.
They weren’t selling - that’s what Toyota stop making them ! They sold more camrys in a month than Venza’s in a year ! I still have my 2009 Venza, the first year they came out. Still runs great !
We have a 2011 Toyota Camry. lol. We love it, however, we had to purchase it when we moved to the Mexican border and as such, we've had a terrible time with dealership repairs and basic maintenance because most parts had to wait to come from Los Angeles, CA for some reason. We now have moved to TX and are still on the border, where the dealership here doesn't even include topping off the brake and windshield wiper fluids during the routine maintenance checks. On our recent roadtrip home to Tennessee, we made a point to stop in the dealership there and had our 50,000 maintenance done plus fixing a steering wheel popping issue we've had since we bought the car. You guessed it, neither the AZ or TX dealerships ever found, much less "felt" the problem. The TN folks instantly knew what it was and fixed it. Unfortunately for us, it wasn't under warranty and although the issue was a KNOWN RECALL (yep), our serial # didn't fall in line with that and therefore we did have to pay out of pocket. We were just happy to FINALLY get it fixed though. So, that's our love/ hate story with our Camry. lol. Great info on the Venza. I don't remember ever seeing one, but we stick to the boring Camrys. lol.
We have owned a Venza for 5 years. With the V6 engine and AWD, it has been a very reliable car. Would buy another one in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, Toyota did a very poor job marketing this car so they didn't sell nearly as many as they could have. Other owners that I've talked to, really like them....
You made the right choice by going with the 6 Cylinder engine because that 4 cylinder gets worse fuel economy than the V6. That 4 cyl is very underpowered.
On my second AWD Venza 3.5l, absolutely love it and wish they kept making them, its the perfect layout and style I want. From and 11 to a 15, just because... Only down for me is the mileage, but I can afford it for the conveniences of this car.
My wife and I went to our local Toyota dealer in July 2009 to interest to purchase a new Camry. They had just received 3 new Venzas in and asked us to drive one. We fell in love with it and bought it . Ours was a 4 cyl model base package with not a lot of extras. Over the years we had so many comments on people loving the color. It was called Golden Umber. WE ABSOLUTLELY Loved the car, the interior space, ride, comfort all excellent. We were VERY DISSAPOINTED when we found out Toyota was dropping the Venza line at end of 2015. 1 year ago I found a 2015 Venza XLE AWD 4cyl. for sale with only 18,000 miles on it. Our 09 was still a wonderful car but we wanted a newer lower mileage version so we traded. We enjoy all the extras it has over our older one but absolutely HATE the color. Parisian Night Pearl. I really wish Toyota would bring back an updated version of the Venza.
I have a 2012 with 72,000km I don't drive a lot of KM in a year but half the time I'm driving on gravel or hardpacked snow so I already had to replace the front and rear struts and tires. Otherwise everything else running perfectly and starts every time even in -30 C. Will probably get a lightly used Highlander next time.
Now what's boring about a Camry V6 engine with 268hp, seeing as it was also used on several other Lexus and Toyota vehicles as well as also being specially tuned for the Lotus Evora.
@@GemmyDonCars it you know all V6 engines as at that time were gas hogs. And Turbo charged engines are not for daily driving beyond 150k miles. It's one of the sacrifices to be made for the buttery Smoot engine note and thrust. Besides the 2.7l engine on this car cannot be considered economical too. You'd be getting almost identical mpg between the 2.7l and 3.5l because of the bulk of the vehicle so I'd rather have the V6 on the venza
2009 3.5 AWD 84,000 miles and have the same problem with my trim peice. Have tried almost everything to keep ot down, just push ot down once a week Wouldn't trade this car at all zero problems and not even broken in yet
I have a 2010 Venza and I love it as well! I don't a trim issues with mine. I love the dual sunroof; just wish I had heated seats and the lighted side mirrors on mine. I am at 145k miles and it still rides great! Trying to decide which tires to get. It came with Pirelli Scorpion 20 inch and I had to replace them before two years ago with Pirellis. Not sure if I need to try another tire brand or stick with Pirellis. Any suggestions?
Just bought a 2009 Venza with 180g's on it. This car still drives like new. It rides like new. One owner looks new. Toyota's are the best.
My prius has the remote key lock feature and also the remote lock I love it it’s also a 2010! Toyotas technology in 2010 was ahead of its time !
The rear video backup screen is so tiny it's practically useless and if the sun shines on the dash, you can't see anything through the glare, but it still works fine otherwise.
I replace my tires at 4 years because Phoenix heat kills rubber and I don't like changing flats in 110 degree temperatures)
I usually stick my finger in the tailpipe and if it's black and wet, no thanks.
Your review was very helpful! I’m thinking of buying one with 183k miles
@@JenniferJohnson-fh8fx have it checked out by a good mechanic. I've had three mechanics check mine out over the past two years and none of them can find anything wrong with it other than the rear brakes are now worn out.

Good luck. They're good used cars.

Love my 2010 Limited Venza V6!!! You'll never go wrong with Toyota. So spacious and elegant. Mine was color Mica Bronze. It's a head turner.
2010 V6, 75000 miles. Just replaced the original brake pads/rotors, no problems with the vehicle at all. I wish Toyota would bring them back; I’d stand in line to buy another!

Hey , good news for you, Toyota has made the new 2021 Venza for around 30,000$
I have the 2010 with 103k miles. I love it! Took it on a 13 hour road trip in the 1st month I had it. I'm replacing the rear struts soon and my rear differential has a leak. But other than that it drives like a new vehicle. Definitely wish they still made them
Just Bought a 2012 with a 4 cylinder XLE ,IM, encouraged to see all the positive comments.
Ed Laszutko Thank you for that comparison between your Venza & her Soobie.
Your exactly right everything you said and more we love this car. We have a 09 and will never ever trade it in. My wife searched for months and months until till she found our baby and we are glad we did. It looks and rides awesome. We get so many compliments when out it puts a smile on both our faces.

Yeah, I am still ok with the grill with more lines, but the update is sharp. I really like the updated headlights with the LEDs that make it look like the Venza has fangs.
I bought a 2014 Venza limited and love it!✌️👍
buying one tomorrow
I have a 2013 venza I love it 4cylinder same with black leather seats fully equipped
I love my 2009 Venza too!

I have same problem with the trim piece on my 2011 venza. Great car. I am amazed Lexus never cloned it.
Brian Yeah, I don’t understand why Toyota got rid of it either.
its not up to Lexus to decide to do anything. Toyota is Lexus, So you should have said you are surprised toyota did not turn it into a lexus

Just went from 2014 Kia Sorento to the 2014 Venza and I must say I love it. The headlights are better than the Sorento and the tow package is better than my previous FWD Sorento. The moon roof in my Sorento was better, but I like this little guy quite a bit! Good video.
Guess what, Venza is COMING BACK BABY!!!! FALL 2020 look out for the announcement.
Yeah but it looks like an SUV now
Me and my wife have a Maroon Venza and I love it! No issues what so ever! I'm thinking of buying another one for for myself my wife drives it now lol. I love the Awd and and shift able auto trans. Id recommend it to anyone looking for a suv even though its classified as a wagon.
Glad to hear that, Lorenzo!
I bought a 2014 Venza 4 cyl in Aug 2018. I really like it.
I love my venza too i had it for 5 years and no problems i got another one last week so i have 2 venza's there are both very good
That's good, Bek, glad to hear that.
Yeah, the turning radius is horrible, wonder if it has to do with the huge wheels. It's been a great car for us!
I’m in total agreement with you on everything you said about this vehicle I love my 2013 limited
I think it was competition for the Lexus RX
Just got a venza great channel 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you! Stay tuned because I just reviewed a 2021 Venza yesterday! You’ll like that one.
3:18 I think those wheels in this car are not an advantage but are a bad features because of the shaking that’s caused by the car large wheels, I got a 2009 Venza AWD and it shakes too much! Especially when I drive it in the city
Bro that's called worn suspension
2010 Just hit 90k, zero issues also. Was going to get rid of it, but can't justify it. Good luck. 3.5l awd 2010 90k
That's cool what you said about camping, I can't say I've ever done that in my Venza. Glad you like yours. Thanks for the watch.
What do you mean moved it up to Lexus line? I heard something saying they may bring it back as a Toyota soon.
Added bonus the RX has the option of 2 or 3 row seating.
But it's really ugly, IMO.
@@GemmyDonCars Weird, the one I saw looked almost exactly like my Venza. Same trim lines, almost the same rims, same size.
Going to be looking at buying this week this helped a ton thank you
Glad I could help!
They weren’t selling - that’s what Toyota stop making them ! They sold more camrys in a month than Venza’s in a year ! I still have my 2009 Venza, the first year they came out. Still runs great !
Thanks for this video , I am hoping to buy a 2015 venza le AWD 4 cylinder hope that one is good too, please I need your advice
got the 2009 venza i love it too..thanks men
This is an excellent car I love it👍🥇❤️
Dude how flies this video not have 1,000,000 views? Just bought a 2010 Venza and we love it!! Great video bro
Hopefully someday! haha thanks for the nice words.
I'm currently in search for a AWD Venza... eh first I gotta sell my 3rd Gen Supercharged TRD 4Runner.
The new Venza looks like everything else on the road.
Not true, on my 4 cyl. (engine is same on all Venza years) I get 27 MPG on 95% city driving
These are nice I wouldn't mind one of these.
On my second AWD Venza 3.5l, absolutely love it and wish they kept making them, its the perfect layout and style I want. From and 11 to a 15, just because... Only down for me is the mileage, but I can afford it for the conveniences of this car.
Glad you dig it, Marlin. It's a great car.
We considered buying a 2015 Venza but didn’t like the cockpit … especially the gear shifter and infotainment screen
Not especially boring, just terrible gas mileage, but infinitely reliable!
Have tried almost everything to keep ot down, just push ot down once a week
Wouldn't trade this car at all zero problems and not even broken in yet
just bought a 2009 Venza so far I dont seem to have the owners manual. so Im lost cant roll down back windows or ope back Need help any suggestions
love VENZA *keep IT gOLD cookie *
Just bought one today and hoping I have the same experience you have had
+Roadside Rescue Hope you do too!
Pirellis are good. I just got Michelin for my Mazda and I love them, I'd suggest that. I think they are the best tires.
It’s back now 😎
Just posted my review of a 2021 Venza this week, go check it out.
I have the same color...awesome car!
