BigSprinkler2000 is the discount code still valid? Tried to enter it in tonight and couldn’t get it to work for the jumbo sled rotor sprinkler- part circle.
GCI Turf Services thanks Pete! Code works! Placed an order this morning! I’ve got some aeration to do and I’ve got 100lbs of GCI Turf Tall Fescue Seed to throw down here in the next week or so.
Man I love your channel big guy. You are so humble and honest in your opinions. Appreciate ya' man! Keep up the great work and let's get these subs to 20K....and beyond!
Up to 11k subscribers. Quite unbelievable Pete! I remember when you didn't even have 1k and see so how far you've come is impressive. Just want to say thank you for all the tips and keep up the great work!
I see a GCI notification, hit play, hit thump up, realize don't have time to what the video, know it has great content, hit watch later. Think non stop about lawn care and when will i find time to what your videos, Pete. I will
Best ever overview of above the ground sprinklers I'm so done with the underground sprinklers and the high costs of the companies that install and maintain them. And no matter how much you pay them, IT NEVER WORKS RIGHT! I just got estimate to adjust my existing sprinkler system. $3,500!!!!!! No thanks. I'll follow your instructions and get what I want. It'll probably cost 1/10 as much.
I just picked up the Jumbo Sled Rotor. Thing is bad ass! Puts down a lot of water quickly. Covers twice as much area as my Home Depot sprinkler. It’s a bit expensive, but will save me time watering, so it may be worth it.
So what pump do you have in your well? Is your well when they drilled it doing 25 to 28gpm or is your pump putting that out? If your pump is putting that out you must have a serious replenish rate on your well like 50 or 75gpm. Most well company’s want put a pump in the well that pumps the same output as the well provides.
Your fortunate to have such high water pressure in your town. My shitty little town cant produce anymore than 55 psi, while the larger, neighboring town 6 miles away, produces 75 psi. Ive complained but it does no good.
I figured your new to water wells, I could be wrong. Water the lawn on well water has my motor/ pump cycling on and off constantly, that's until I got a cycle stop valve. It turns on and stays on while the irrigation is running. Motors don't like starts, this valve will prolong the life of the motor. Take it for what it's worth. Good looking lawn!
I have a very important question. I have 2 acres of turf but my sprinklers are weak because the psi from the tap is 60 or less. I bought a wayne pump it helped a little but not much. How do you get 80 psi? What is the source of water? What is the size and length of your hose? I did jot realize that in order to cover big land you need certain type off hoses and strong psi. I appreciate your help and suggestions.
605 fert deep well. 28 GPM. 2 HP pump. The pressure tank supplies the 80psi. You could check with a plumbing guy and see how you can get more volume or pressure
Hi Pete, Will I be able to use two of these sprinklers at once if I use a hose splitter? Would I get decent pressure for these to be effective? I only have one spigot and am on well water. Thx
Great video, just wanted to ask about the spray pattern with the sprinklers, since i have a problem with getting even spread from the sprinklers i have. At what price point do you think one can get a quality sprinkler with even spread.
Go right here and check out their prices. All their sprinklers spread evenly www.bigsprinkler.com 10% coupon codes: 1000F Sprinkler Cart - GCI1000F18 1000R Sprinkler Cart- GCI1000R18 Jumbo Sled - GCIJUMBO18
Can you show us your in ground sprinkler system setup, I’m having issues with mine and picking the right sprinklers. Stuck in between rotary or spray heads.
I don’t have a lot of water pressure. I’m on well water and it’s not a steady pressure. Do you think these would work? I have about a half an acre. I gave up on the back yard.
do you have any idea about timers for outdoor spigots. I tried the Orbit ones from Lowes and they stopped working after a month. I don't have underground sprinkler system.
Just to make sure I understand, Pete, the measurements of sprinkler coverages that you stated in the video were the diameter of the sprinkler coverage circle and not the radius, correct?
Perfect timing on this Pete, I was getting ready to replace my cheap sprinklers with more cheap sprinklers.... Any tips for those on a well with low pressure? I'm lucky if I can get 20ft out of my current sprinklers....
You can get a portable pump from HDepot or Lowes. They each have one that is highly rated and provides really good pressure. I use mine to pump water out of my pond
Are you going to be with John on Friday? I have about 10 million things lined up to do on Friday , I’m going to see if I can get it worked out to go , but it hard for me to get away right now☹️
Hate to say it Pete, but I've given these things every opportunity to perform and they just don't. We have good water pressure, adequate 5/8 hoses (short hoses too) and even connected a booster pump and these things still just don't do it for me. They literally can't work in tandem either, it's just not possible. At this point I feel like the only way they might work would be to have the water volume of a fire hydrant or something along those lines. I've tried different nozzles, extremely short hoses, booster pump, etc. etc. etc. and they still just don't throw the water. Just emailed them hoping for a refund.. Oh well. :/
My 1 hp pump is sitting around 200 feet and it will pump 30 gallons a minute when you check at the pump and let it run out of the 1.5 pipe. My pressure switch is set at 40 cut on and 65 cut off. When you check the gpm at a hose bib I’m getting around 17 gallons per minute. When I hook up my two sprinklers the pump will only maintain about 45 pounds psi. Seems to be plenty but it would be nice to have more. I saw in one of your videos-you had a inline pump sitting on the ground. Is that pump in addition to your submersible well pump? I have plenty of volume with 1.5 pvc ran through out the yard plus a 80 gallon pressure tank.
Can I spray the bio stems and preemergents with a tow behind electric sprayer or do I need a special nozzle. I've got roughly 100,000 square ft of turf area and i want to renovate about 3/4 of it this fall I can't not water it all without an irrigation system I know you don't like straw but would it help sense I would only be relying on mother nature
I do like them......but they do go bad after a lot of use. At least mine did. And, I told ya'll I would introduce you to commercial grade equipment that I have personally used and approved. This is just that
5:52...Hosepipe! haha thank you sir, my wife said I was the only person she has ever heard use that word! That is common vernacular and proper southern english!
But Pete, you guys had lots of snow and rain this year, why are you "irritating" your lawn on May Day? Is it really that dry? If I did that regularly, my monthly water bill would be near or over a thousand dollars. So I have to rely on Mother Nature. She usually burns me out in September. :-)
Barry Wuthrich I spent $130 for the Jumbo Sled rotor sprinkler and it’s is far better then the Home Depot/Walmart ones I have. It is very expensive for a sprinkler, but it takes a lot less time and covers more than double the ground. And when you make as much money as Pete and I who cares about $150 bucks. Lol
Pete, I need an hour long video of that sprinkler at the 0:16 second mark of your video that I can just put on in the background and watch / listen to while I work. That isn't crazy right?
Now, RyanKnorr and GrassDaddy will buy this and will make a video out of it, as both of them lack original content and usually ride on LCN, GCI, Grass Factor, or Connor Ward's videos for "inspiration"

Its always a good day when Pete posts a video!
Thanks Pete. Because of you I had a nice conversation with the wonderful folks at big sprinkler before I ordered two 1000r sprinkler carts.
Adam Klann they are great people!
Can't beat the sound of an impact sprinkler. The Jumbo Sled sounded like summer!
Yeah I love that sound
Hey Pete quick question what's the best way to get rid of k31 in my TTTF?
Can you tell me difference for lawn sprinkler head connection size. What is the criteria for selecting when making an irrigation setup
Your videos have been a blessing. Trying to grow and maintain tall fescue in Georgia, and you give me hope.
So far my metal stake sprinkler from Walmart has held up for 2 years and it only cost me $15. I still liked the video.
I just picked up the Jumbo Sled Rotor. Thing is bad ass! Puts down a lot of water quickly. Covers twice as much area as my Home Depot sprinkler. It’s a bit expensive, but will save me time watering, so it may be worth it.

Love you. Paul thanks have a good night.
Hi Pete
What is the best between the 1000f and the 1000r
I have the city water 6to 7 gpm and 65 psi for 2 acres of lawn
Thanks Pite and nice video
What size hose was connected to these sprinklers?
3/4" or 5/8"?
You have all all those sprinklers running at once? Or just one at a time?
I was thinking of adding a sprinkler system due to the frustration of crappy sprinklers...but curious, which way would you go between the two?
I have a very important question. I have 2 acres of turf but my sprinklers are weak because the psi from the tap is 60 or less. I bought a wayne pump it helped a little but not much. This was so well done. You presented the information perfectly.
Question.. what kind of distance do you get if you chain 2 jumbo sprinklers together?
Hello Pete.. I have a QUESTION.. I just added some Liquid Iron to my lawn, how long will it take to see results and how long will it last.. thank you
Just bought the 1000F Sprinkler Cart. I have 1.6 acres to cover I may purchase a second one if I like the first.
Hi Pete,
Will I be able to use two of these sprinklers at once if I use a hose splitter? Would I get decent pressure for these to be effective? I only have one spigot and am on well water. Thx
Tashrayt might want to call the company direct. You probably can with good pressure but I’d call them to be sure
@@GCITurf thanks Pete!
Holy shit batman those thing ain't no joke lol... those are expensive af. but HEY, if they last and put out a good stream then its worth it to me!

That’s definitely something I am going to look into. I have about 25,000 sq ft of turf and only one hose bib. Thank you for the info.
Did you end up buying one? We have comparable size yards and wonder how it performed for you if you had.
My well is pushing out only 2.5 GPM..how do i fix that?! please help lol
Can you show us your in ground sprinkler system setup, I’m having issues with mine and picking the right sprinklers. Stuck in between rotary or spray heads.
Will post that vid this week
I live in the TX panhandle, not in town but the country, which sprinkler is best in the Wind?
I was anxiously waiting for it. GetYourWaterRight!
Are these all you use or do you have underground sprinklers?
Channel is growing like gang busters. Over 11,000 subscribers. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks Pete
Yeah boy!
Thanks for your research & discount Pete!
Yep
I don’t have a lot of water pressure. I’m on well water and it’s not a steady pressure. Do you think these would work? I have about a half an acre. I gave up on the back yard.
I need to check the pressure.
You need an irrigation pump to help out.
Question. Out here in central Texas we have 34 psi. What would you recommend for someone with my issue? Thank you
More water
Pete . what kind of fescue is that you got growing there? Would it grow in North Alabama?
Good info! Keep it coming! This will definitely help me water my large back yard!
do you have any idea about timers for outdoor spigots. I tried the Orbit ones from Lowes and they stopped working after a month. I don't have underground sprinkler system.
Plato Dimitriadis I’ve had my orbit for years now, just this year replaced my battery’s mine has been flawless
Thanks
I just wish I had enough yard to need a sprinkler like that...
Just to make sure I understand, Pete, the measurements of sprinkler coverages that you stated in the video were the diameter of the sprinkler coverage circle and not the radius, correct?
Ben Harrison yep. Whatever the measurements were it was from left to right. Depending on your water pressure you can cover a large area for sure
I have well water. I have yet to find a sprinkler that puts out a lot of water with my system.
Im so lucky I have 110 psi city pressure
And my spigots have 3/4 pipe running to em
Awesome video!!!!
Some of us look forward to heat stress to take a break from mowing. :D My front yard gets water but at 2.5 acres it just isn't practical.
Exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Perfect timing on this Pete, I was getting ready to replace my cheap sprinklers with more cheap sprinklers.... Any tips for those on a well with low pressure? I'm lucky if I can get 20ft out of my current sprinklers....
Call Big League Sprinkler and tell them your situation..They can better help with this
Thanks, will do.
You can get a portable pump from HDepot or Lowes. They each have one that is highly rated and provides really good pressure. I use mine to pump water out of my pond
Dang Pete another toy I gotta have ... the big league roller and the big sprinklers.... go big or go home!
Great info man. These are top notch sprinklers.
Yo - awesome and thank you! Gonna get that smaller ones, thx for the links as well!
You are welcome friend
Are you going to be with John on Friday? I have about 10 million things lined up to do on Friday , I’m going to see if I can get it worked out to go , but it hard for me to get away right now☹️
i need to buy this now
Hey Pete i ordered the spray nozzle and never got it. Thanks for the videos
email me contact@gciturfacademy.com
GCI Turf Services I did Pete
I may have to invest in these sprinklers
Any new coupon codes? These older ones no longer work.
We'll see how it goes, just ordered two sleds.
Hate to say it Pete, but I've given these things every opportunity to perform and they just don't. Pete, are the promo codes still valid?
Just curious on how your getting 80psi out of your well ? Love all the awesome content!
1.5 hp pump and that blue tank. My well guy set all that so I am not real sure other than the pressure gauge on the tank
My 1 hp pump is sitting around 200 feet and it will pump 30 gallons a minute when you check at the pump and let it run out of the 1.5 pipe. My pressure switch is set at 40 cut on and 65 cut off. Thank you!
Thank you.
When you say 68’ is that the stream length or total width of a complete pass
Total width with the pressure I have. 34' each way
GCI Turf Services which type of sprinkler do you like the best and recommend? Impact sprinkler or black rotor head sprinkler?
Can I spray the bio stems and preemergents with a tow behind electric sprayer or do I need a special nozzle. I wanna see the 3000R 😂🤣😂 That's one mean ass sprinkler!!!
I have one LOL I will show it sometime
Two hours at 28 gallons a min isn't that a lot of water?
How your water Bills looks?
I have a well so no water bill
You dont like those orbit gear sprinklers you used to use?
I do like them......but they do go bad after a lot of use. At least mine did. And, I told ya'll I would introduce you to commercial grade equipment that I have personally used and approved. This is just that
GCI Turf Services. Thanks pete! I will be checking those out, your a goodman i appreciate all the videos!
5:52...Hosepipe! haha thank you sir, my wife said I was the only person she has ever heard use that word! That is common vernacular and proper southern english!
Wouldn't the diameter of the cup you use effect the inches per hour measurement?
But Pete, you guys had lots of snow and rain this year, why are you "irritating" your lawn on May Day? Is it really that dry?
If I did that regularly, my monthly water bill would be near or over a thousand dollars. So I have to rely on Mother Nature. She usually burns me out in September. :-)
I only did that for the video..LOL I will not start watering for a while yet
Thanks for the video!!
Great video
Excellent video 👍
Pete you tha man bo
good info👍 thanks
Wow they're expensive! Great video tho. Thx Pete
Yodaddi Jim I was thinking they are pretty inexpensive for how long they last. They should never ever wear out or break 😎
$200 for a sprinkler? I think you've lost it. I bought a heavy all-metal sprinkler at Wal-Mart last year for about $20 and it does the same thing.
Barry Wuthrich I agree way too much money
When his wife finds out he paid $250 for an impulse sprinkler, Pete's gonna be doing a video on how to build a bigger dog house. lol
lol
Barry Wuthrich I spent $130 for the Jumbo Sled rotor sprinkler and it’s is far better then the Home Depot/Walmart ones I have. It is very expensive for a sprinkler, but it takes a lot less time and covers more than double the ground. And when you make as much money as Pete and I who cares about $150 bucks. Lol
He laid out why he sprang for the more expensive one. Because your WallyMart Special is garbage.
Pete, I need an hour long video of that sprinkler at the 0:16 second mark of your video that I can just put on in the background and watch / listen to while I work. That isn't crazy right?
Naw LOL
CD Andrews I know right that thing sounds awesome!
Diy irrigation center
Yeah every year they break

I know Grass Daddy...I have no clue who the other guy is. Sorry
Andrew August get a life bro. You go around and trash talk on all the channels, maybe find something more productive to do with your time.
LOL
What is your productive day looks like? Again, not sorry for choices you made in your life, and not feeling bad about your butthurt.
every day is quite productive for me. I hope yours is as well my friend
$148 for a sprinkler??? They done lost their damn minds 😂
$200 starting is a lot for a sprinkler.
This is what we call “paid sponsorship”
My $35.00 sprinkler has lasted ten years.
