For the visually impaired that thing can be annoying. No zoomtext for Android for you.

***** The voice is changed in the phones "Text To Speech" settings. United States English only has a female voice but there is a male voice in United Kingdom English!

Please don't start a talk with an apology. It is a rule for toastmasters, and all public speakers.

Hi Sam; my name is Aliza from the UK. I believe I have spoken to you before.
I have just watched your video on the basics of talk back. I am currently having a play with a tablet.
I am getting a bit frustrated with it. What would your advice be to a first time user of talk back?
Keep up the videos and banta

Talk back can be frustrating, especially depending on how old the device is. Best advice is just to try to be precise with your movements, take it slow, and have patience. Make sure the software is up to date also.

@@theblindlife hi Sam I had a question myself. I am getting ready to get the new galaxy flip. It is the first android I have ever had and my first real experience with talk back. I know this video was done a few years ago so do you know if talkback has improved over the last few years? Does it do better with email? I have also heard in the past that it has difficulty with the Internet. Any information you can give on the most recent talk back products would be very helpful. Thank you

You will probably only be able to play games that are designed for the visually impaired. Audio described games, things like that. And you will probably have to turn talkback off before you start playing the game. If you're using a Samsung device with a home button, you can set that as a shortcut so that when the game starts you can tap the home button three times to turn off talkback.

@@KennethTheAwesomeBlindGuy777 what would you say have been some big improvements? I have heard that talk back doesn’t read your emails and gets lost or confused when you’re on the Internet. Has this gotten better?
