This is a stunning house. Builder should include a laundry tub and a counter over the machines for folding. Not a huge extra expense but makes a big difference.

Don't like doing laundry in a fricking closet! For this amount of $$$$, should be a laundry room with cabinets, sink, closet space, not just an extension of master bedroom.

This is pretty similar than the one on settler drive. It almost have the same layout
Liked mostly all of the house except where the laundry is situated and they should have added a sink in the laundry too. Also the kitchen seems too boxed in and the oven is too far away from the stove. There needs to be a seamless flow especially in the kitchen area. But everything else is spacious and elegant

The laundry room is ridiculously small (the man building this house is obviously not doing his own laundry). I am pretty sure you have to close the door of the washer and dryer so you can get out of the room. Such a small lot for a big house like that. No front yard , planting tall Cyprus for privacy will reduce that back yard to a handkerchief. Stop building house with Jake and Jill, when kids become teenagers (boy and girl), they can’t share that bathroom anyone. This is a house so a family can grow into it so build it with all the bedrooms having on-suite. I have a house with 5 bedrooms with all on suite bathrooms but this could be done for 3 bedroom houses (sometimes it doesn’t take much to split that Jake and Jill into 2 separate bathrooms). Jake and Jill is a thing of the past, new houses shouldn’t be built with these anymore, we are in 2021.

About $2000 amounts for property and insurance.
If Texas doesn't do that, housing prices there would be like California - $10 trillion for a 10' X 5' closet that is 10 thousand years old!

Texas protects residents who put down roots there. That is why homelessness is low in Texas.
On top of property and insurance lets not forget about that $800 A/C bill per month that will come because you need to run a/c 24/7 365 a year

@@beamarlo3962 yes and no. A lot people actually like the idea to have dining room by the entrance, and the builders want to build homes to cater the buyers’ taste. Some other homes have dining in the middle of the homes, so you may like it. Also, if you want to spend $$$$, you can build custom homes. (Which we do not recommend for most home buyers, as the cost can be really high.)
