      @normalsalaryman 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      silva wong 18x9 either 205 or 215, 18x8 might be around 195-205, and i dont think you would get a comfort from stretch tire since you might have to pumped in around 40-44psi..to get that nice doughnut shape....i had 215/60 on 18x9.25 and lets say its right in the middle between crazy stretch and no stretch...its enough for me...

    • @theonearmwolf4956
      @theonearmwolf4956 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +UncleShrek Sanchez true. However, even the rims are 9.5, tire sizes must be around 235-245 to look like that.

    • @123ElTri
      @123ElTri 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 225/45 aspect ratio is what's making it look like that. I've seen a few 225/40's on 9.5's and they look slightly more stretched than this.

  • @HotNHorny
    @HotNHorny 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Maybe he recently purchased the tires and upgraded the wheels and can't justify the price of a new set of tires? I'd say go for it and replace to the correct size when its due.

    • @tomsellout9576
      @tomsellout9576 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HotNHorny people do this to clear fenders when lowering their car to achieve a nicer fitted look, while I think stretching tires greatly is definitely unsafe this is pretty minimal stretch and should be totally fine people do it all the time

    • @Drunken_Hamster
      @Drunken_Hamster 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't very much like people like you.
      "correct"
      "clown car"
      There's tons of reasons for a mild to moderate stretch. Fitment being the main one, but, believe it or not a very slight stretch can actually improve handling by preloading the sidewall, making steering and initial turn-in more responsive.
      Thr exact amount? 0.5" wider wheel than the TREAD width (not section width). Of course, going too far will derade performance ans and cause de-beading issues to boot. But going the other way will make the vehicle mushy and unresponsive. Literally the only reason for buldge (tire TREAD width wider than rim) is so oem's can cheap out on skinnny wheels.
