As a young woman very interested in this subject, I can say she really inspires me! I kinda thought you had to be all scientific and serious (and maybe a man) to talk about these things, and I also don't feel ashamed of this subject at all, when people laugh of it I think it's curious.

How scientific is she supposed to be speaking in a language that's foreign to her when she's trying to explain her work as a microbiologist to a large audience of laymen? I'm assuming you've read her book before calling it pseudoscience, if not you really ought not to comment like that.
Diki Dok It does because not only does she understand a great deal about gut workings but she is exceedingly good at explaining in English, spoken and written. Which is quite an achievement for a native German! Pity more doctors, especially in the UK, don't take a lesson from her unpretentious lucidity. Our immune systems mirror of our digestive behaviour, that much we now know for sure.
