He was notorious for starting fights with opponents in the ABA, and was just as willing to fight teammates in practice. He also at least once beat up a Pittsburgh teammate during halftime of a game, and while in Seattle, he knocked out several front teeth of teammate Joby Wright during training camp. On top of all that, Brisker was rumored to bring a gun with him to team practice everyday.
