For those who were alive to witness Michael Jordan in the 80s & 90s, you experienced something extremely rare & special... and for those growing up in the Jordan Era (like me), you had an awesome childhood...👊🏾💪🏾👑
I'm european, I was 13-14 when I was watching those Bulls games, I had school next day, but I was waiting for game to start at around 1:30 AM. I remember every time I wondered before the game started if Michael Jordan will again do something incredible and every game he did. Every game he did something that completely blew my mind. That 72-10 season was the best basketball I watched in my life. The bulls played like a well oiled machine, that was the most mistake free basketball I have seen up to this day. In that season I absolutely fell in love in basketball, ended playing it for 20 years on our towns court literally 8 hours a day for the most years lol, even was having shooting practices outside during snow, rain and on 40 degrees with sun torching me for hours. Then I came home I played some nba live or nba 2k and watched nba or euroleague. I had 4 years I never missed a shot for the win and for those 4 years I was given a ball to take a shot. Played alone vs 3 guys 4 times, won all 4. Had a perfect scoring game, where I scored all the points without missing a shot and we won with oponent having zero points (and I got 2 worst guys on the court and we played vs 3 of the best) and once I tried shooting around the court for 8-10 minutes with closed eyes from different positions and I hit around 90% of shots lol, but I was really feeling it that time :D . I was never naturally the most athletic gifted on that court or had the most natural talent. But watching those bulls and listening to Jordan, I wanted to copy his mindset. So I worked hard and more then anyone, I played sick, If I got knocked down I got up, I showed no weakness, I embraced the pain, I backed off no one and in each game I got with a mindset defeat is not an option and gave 100%. Never got anywhere close to him in 20 years, but thx to Michael's wisdom I had a wonderful life and through hard times in life, if not for him, Bulls and basketball, I don't think my mind would handle it with such an ease. Sports is a wonderful thing. Your body is in great shape but so is your mind. I'm still telling everyone if they're depressed, have low confidence or some sort of other type of emotional distress to go out, or just don't like their looks to do sports and push themselves to the limits. It's great for discipline of the mind. And If nothing else, they'll be too tired when they get home to torment themselves emotionally.

Jordan is a coward. The 99 Spurs would have smoked his team, if they even got that far, which is doubtful since they had the worst record for a reason and basketball is a team sport, and I'm a Nets fan with no stake in this. His comeback with the Wizards only a few years later when he couldn't even get them to the playoffs in a garbage conference exposed him for all to see. Basketball is a team sport. That's why TEAMS like the 2004 Pistons, 2011 Mavericks, 2019 Raptors win. That "star-dominant" thing is only to sell jerseys and copies of basketball video games. Chemistry and fundamentals win, hero ball only looks good for Sportscenter highlights.

With regards to the 3pt shooting, MJ would have played college and HS ball without a 3pt line and when he was drafted it had only been there for 5 years in the NBA. Mordern players were all born into an era where the 3 pt line existed at all levels, but also had the benefit of coaches who had used them extensively, none of which would have been available to Jordan.
Jordan is such a complete athlete, I don’t think he would have any problem making the three-pointer in today’s NBA. The 3pt shot just wasn’t something that you practiced as much in Jordan’s era.
@@Odysseus1999 True, and Jordan said so himself. He believed in driving to the paint, and the philosophy back then was 3-pointers were made as a last ditch effort if the shot clock was running down. I guess maybe it's obvious, but I didn't think about that until reading your comment. This is one of the craziest things to take in about the whole thing... The fact that people still WILL attempt to argue how someone else is the GOAT.
It is a form of recency bias, where old events fade from memory, giving recent events more prominence. To be fair, there is an opposite bias that leads us to think the new cannot better the old. There is always a tug-of-war between older fans and younger ones. Ali vs. Louis, Leonard vs. Robinson, Leonard vs. Mayweather, Jordan vs. James, James vs. Bird types of arguments will always exist.
Its a logic vs emotion debate bron used to be on of my favorite players till they started gasssing that man on media now tryn shit on mj to make lebron look better nawh its really aint close

The fact that people still try to find a player that was better than MJ. Its a real shame that these peoples opinion still loose out to MJs fact records.
@Sam roper MJ is in a league of his own. There is no comparison, first of all Lebron has lost Finals and played so many times badly. Never happened with MJ, you will never find a game of MJs and say that he didnt have a good night or, where was MJ today, why didnt he perform. On the other had you have Lebron that has chocked on big games. Look dont get me wrong Lebron is a great player but unfortunately you cannot compare him to MJ. ( 6 finals, six rings which never went 7 games) Lebron should only be compared to Kobe and other greats like him but not MJ.

@@TheLastAngryMan01 haha funny. Most goals in history of country, single handedly carried Argentina to the world cup final and statistically the best player by far of all.time. the goat. Stick to basketball buddy, it's obvious you don't know enough about football
MegaCaptcha No-one is suggesting Messi isn’t a great player; he has led a star studded Barcelona side for over a decade to several Champions League and Spanish titles. Nobody can question Messi’s ability, the stats speak for themselves. But Maradona carried a limited Argentinian side to a World Cup win in 1986, and very nearly repeated the trick in 1990. Messi has played in a World Cup final and two Copa America finals and has had a very limited impact on them (he missed several chances in the 2014 final against Germany). So when we talk of the GOAT, it’s debatable whether he is even the GOAT in his own country, and that’s before we start comparing him with the likes of Pele, Charlton, Zidane etc.
disclaimer: the three point line was closer (22 feet instead of 23.9) between 94-97 if. he shot .50, .43, and .37 during those years and then 23.8 the year they changed it back (97-98 season). The highest he shot at the current three point distance is 37.6% in 1989 on 3 attempts per game.
Jordan is a jump shooter. The best 3’s in todays league shoot set shots. It’s a better way to shoot the long ball. If Jordan’s just spent many hours practicing a set shot he would have been better at the 3. However shooting jump shots midrange and close up and changing up to a set shot might have thrown off his whole shooting game.
@@GrumpyCat-mw5xl Do you watch the NBA? There are very few set shots, from three or otherwise. They are almost all jumpers. Jordan was a bad three point shooter. It was a real hole in his game. We got to see Bo Jackson and Mike Tyson. Some crazy athletes
@@Ascending11 Bo is the greatest athlete who ever lived IMO
I mean shit I've grown up with Lebron, Kobe, Ronaldo, Messi, Ovechkin, Jeter, and many others.

There is always a tug-of-war between older fans and younger ones. Ali vs. Louis, Leonard vs. Robinson, Leonard vs. Mayweather, Jordan vs. James, James vs. Bird types of arguments will always exist.
Uh, because they can't read the NBA record book?
Its a logic vs emotion debate bron used to be on of my favorite players till they started gasssing that man on media now tryn shit on mj to make lebron look better nawh its really aint close
The part where you scrolled through the seasons with other ppl leading in scoring and winning a ring the same year and THEN putting MJ 's pictures in the calendar..Man you had me dying.!Great content and great edit!Thank you!
Unreal mate, didn't expect it to be this good when i clicked on it! Massive respect as this must have taken you ages to create. Loved it!
SP,
I agree 💯👊. This is an excellent Vid...
U obviously don't follow the channel...better late than never, high quality basketball content here.
Whenever I tell people MJ is the best I’m going to send them to this video. Great work!
Proving once again, MJ was the greatest of all time.

No, greatest of all time is a guy by the name of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. MJ is the king of popularity without a doubt. Just like Joe Montana to football.
Fun fact my uncle was a animator on Space Jam and he played horse with mj he lost lol
Airguild1756 - that’s a pretty dope fact lol
🧢
Did I ask
Airguild1756 - cool
Just Casual you just did
The fact that people still try to find a player that was better than MJ. Its a real shame that these peoples opinion still loose out to MJs fact records.
Don't be angry. That people do is the ultimate compliment. MJ was a beast throughout his career - a BEAST.
Sam roper people like u annoy me mj is the goat no matter what people like u say
Sam roper I never said Lebron was bad just that Jordan is better
@Sam roper Its logical that you get angry because no one agrees with you. shame.....
I’m not a huge fan of basketball but when I watch these videos from you, damn. 👌
Very thorough and very well researched and presented. Gj bro
I was too young to comprehend how meaningful the last championship for the Bulls was. As a kid, I didn't know all the internal problems that were going on. It is even more amazing that the Bulls won it in 98 after everything that was going on.
The greatest.
I'm a football player and Michael Jordan inspires me the most.
Facts
Imagine calling anyone other than Jordan, The Goat.
Same goes for Messi my guy
COYG!
MegaCaptcha Messi is one of the greats, but can he really be called the GOAT when he has never really performed well at a World Cup, playing for a strong country like Argentina? Diego might have something to say about that 😂
@@TheLastAngryMan01 haha funny.
But he would average 40 points in today's NBA anyway. He is simply the GOAT.
@@GrumpyCat-mw5xl
Do you watch the NBA? There are very few set shots, from three or otherwise. They are almost all jumpers.
Jordan was a bad three point shooter. It was a real hole in his game. He was still an incredible player. He might have been able to develop a three point stroke if it was more important (we'll never know). But it's ok to acknowledge that there was something in basketball that he was bad at. Even the best have some flaws.
@@timthielke3541
Thats his only weakness, and its insane that he still averaged that high. I highly believe with the sports science and him being top 10 athletes probably ever, he would of averaged a cool 40 PPG on 50% with a higher assist percentage. Also, he would of definitely worked on his three-ball in todays era.
You guys are nuts… Jordan was an amazing 3-point shooter whenever he wanted to be. I watched it live - he took over a finals game shooting 3s… it was surreal. He was breaking 3-point records in the finals under crazy pressure. Weakness in his game.. you’re outta your mind. MJ was the winner… he ALWAYS found a way to win.. 3s or 2s - he made everyone on the court look slow… and he looked like a slow-motion highlight reel.
i feel like he hasn’t posted in sooooo longgggg🤧😭😭

I thought you was finna say some conspiracy theory shit when you said “notice MJ is darker in this game than he usually is” 🤣🤣🤣
TREYCO thought he was gonna say something like this is a clone MJ😂😂😂

If it’s true, then MJ’s upper arms and shoulders would be lighter in color since Michael wore a short sleeve shirt when he golfed for those 2 days. But the video shows his darker skin is the same throughout.
