I love the coke bottle design handle. It also can be comfortable if you have to choke up on the grip if doing some fine detail work with the blade. Another great video, thanks again.
That is an amazing piece of work my friend. I really enjoy the more detailed videos of your work like this one, but that's just me. The scales on this blade are off the hook beautiful and the color scheme is on point. The overall look and appeal of this knife is over the top, I can't wait to see how it performs.
Handle looks great… Instead of using a spindle sander, I use a 220 grit j-flex belt with a flat Platten. Instead of touching the Platten, I use the slack belt on top. It rounds the handle so smooth, I barely touch the handle with hand sanding. I will see if I can make a video and send it to your Facebook messenger later today. My name is Guy Terrell on there.
I've got a few projects coming up that will have different grinds, Most of the steel that I work with is pretty thick and a scandi grind would basically turn the knife into an Axe edge geometry.
Really nice work, this will help me a lot making handles, but quick question, what grit belt do you use on your 2x72 and also do you slow it down a lot using a VFD, thanks.
I do every once and a while but they aren't something that I choose to do very often. Making these knives for TH-cam and editing the videos take about 30 hours a week on top of my 50 hour a week job. Trying to devote time to a commission piece is hard to do. Now if its something that I think the channel would like then I would be more interested in taking it on. I sent you that message and a friend request on Facebook… messenger made me send it in multiple videos, sorry about that. 😁
nice! why you don t do scandi, saber or other grind types? I noticed that you do most of them in full flat

I use a 40 grit belt for most of the shaping and go at a slower speed.
Hi Erick- this has probably been asked but do you take commission work? Thanks!

Nice Video and work, but please not use that loop music in the background....
I like your videos, but bro...please wear a hat or something! Those bangs are out of hand!
HAHAHA, I feel the same. I'm in the process of growing it back out like it used to be. Check out my earlier videos, It used to be long.
