I did stay up til 3, but after watching how confidently Pat Cummings was batting, how tired and boring the bowlers were, I knew we would win and went to bed! England made too much noise, and had too many redheads! 😄

It is so important in test cricket, the invaluable contribution to the game, when the tail enders can actually bat a bit, even if it is just to hold up one end and be really hard for opposition bowlers throwing everything at them to get them out. When a team knows that their opposition tail enders can't bat to save themself, they get their hopes up once the regulation batsmen are out. If the tail enders can bat some then they can be a big part of demoralising the bowling team and wearing them down with a longer stay in the field.

I thinks the Poms might be a bit worried now, they've played probably to their peak, whereas the Aussie top order (with the exception of Khawaja) has a lot of room for improvement. The Aussies have taken their best punches and have come out on top and frustration will be the Pom's worst enemy from now on. Good call!
How good is the radio commentary? It really adds to the spectacle. I was glued to the telly and it was riveting viewing, but in the future I might switch on for radio commentary to complement what I'm watching. What a game and what a win.

I can't Forget the plumb LBW of Stokes chasing in Leeds headingley over no 124.6 Lyon didn't have review but plumb LBW not given and how Dharmasena helped England in world cup final.. Today there was no help from umpires. Had umpiring was correct Stokes would have continued to be a choker and little bit of help from umpires ,he is known & regarded as big match player, Pathetic umpiring whether intentional or not can't say that has helped him a lot in crucial moments 💯

We had blown our last DRS on a ridiculous review that was not even close, but you shouldn't have to rely on a review when they are as plumb as that one was. We would have on the Ashes 3-1 instead of retaining it on a 2-2 draw. I'm still filthy about that one.

Only the heroics from our tail saved us but let's be frank here, Aussies were on back foot almost from get go and they'll feel the better team lost and I don't blame them. They'll come out firing with full confidence from that last test, Mark my words! Unless Cummins starts playing like the No1 team who just won the Icc finals then we will lose this series. If we don't change we'll lose 4-1 maybe 3-2 but if we do start playing like champions we are and start playing aggressive cricket and take chances then 5-0!

True, but Aus still played well enough to win the match so to speak. You can't just expect to fall over the line if all you count on is the opponent playing bad, you also need to play well enough to capitalise and Australia did just that.
