Did Maxwell let his coach down? How does Australia prepare for Brisbane Test? - SEN Cricket
I hope somehow someone convince kohli to be test captain again and if rohit fails in BGT ..he should be dropped ( i am saying this because he has a specific problem with incoming delivery from fast bowlers..while kohli was getting out in different ways) If kohli also fails miserably he also needs to be dropped I still hope that India does well in BGT because of the experience that current squad has in Australia ..players like Rohit, gill, kohli, pant, rahul, jadeja, ashwin, bumrah, siraj ..have all played in Australia before..if they use their experience and played collectively..india can still win bgt.. And my personal opinion: Never doubt Indian team
Is Trump an Australian? Asking since he is a convicted felon.
Australia has a great chance to clinch the BGT this summer with 3-2 or 3-1 victory.
Tim Paine perfectly predicted the next match against Pakistan perfectly at 4:38
Should Mitch marsh stay? Tremendous in white ball but is he consistent enough as a no6 anchor especially when he doesn’t really bowl
That's a reasonable question at 7.20. If Green was fit, who would be opening? Given the commitment to playing Khawaja and then all of Smith, Marnus, Head, Green and Marsh because they're "the six best batsmen in the country," who would have opened alongside Khawaja? In some ways, the injury to Green has let the selectors off the hook. They can pick another batsman more suited to opening when they would otherwise have been compelled to force a square peg into a reound hole. For the record, I think McSweeney is the right pick. He's probably the best young batsman (25 or under) outside the team and he seems like he could bat anywhere if required.
Jurel looks like the real deal. 🤝
@thegradecricketer beat you to the punch on this one fellas.
India win will BGT 2024
3-0 at home
Travis head should open & Beau Webster should play in his earlier position
Why you wanna fix something which is not broken
Opener nathan mcsweeney Reserve opener Marcus Harris Reserve keeper josh inglis Reserve bowler michel neser Scott boland 10+ 5 = 15 man squad Usman Mcsweeny Marnus Steve Head Marsh Carey Pat Starc Lyon Hazel wood 12th man Marcus Harris 13th man michel neser Reserve keeper josh Inglis Reserve bowler scotty boland
nathan mcsweeney should open 🤞🤞
Khawaja Harris Labushagne Smith Head Marsh Carey Cummins Starc Lyon Hazelwood
👍 Sensible and stable
Macsweeny in place of harris.😊😊
Nope Sam Konstas should open!
Matt Short should open .. he won't, but I genuinely think he is the best choice.
Matt short averages 34 in first class cricket he is more suited for white ball cricket
@debankyajyotidas5495 give the man a chance. All Aussie batsmen stink right now. 35 is the new 55. He is the man for the job.
On what basis? He’s clearly not in form in the ODIs, he averaged 22 last year in long form cricket and has made like 4 hundreds in 55FC games. If you’re going down that route(aggressive), then Inglis is better suited.
@DeeMan17 turn it up
negative
New coach just before the BGT might have been the worst descision by BCCI. India really need to pull back from NZ loss.
This could be the last series we could see kohli and rohit in test cricket. But i know kohli will be uo for the fighr
Ashwin is not bowling well at all he needs to be dropped and bring a new face.
Indias batting cannot stand up against australia frontline seemers they dropped pujara and rahane why cant they drop kohli and rohit both of them are in poor form australia will demolish this batting line up but i still feel kohli will show up.If they get sweep i would like to see if rohit ia left as captain. Pujara made a hundred and still he is not in the squad thats not fair. I love to see kohli bat but but players must be picked on form not name.
No 🇮🇳 got. Smashed th ey Are not arrogant they are 🌍 class players who just got beaten by a better team and NZ played one of cricket history’s best test series in India 🇮🇳 against a world class team NZ play ed India 🇮🇳 at its own game NEW ZEALAND 🇳🇿 just kick their ass SMIPLE Be humble you say NAH kiwi 🥝 says we smashed you hahaha 🤪 and we did not use sand paper 🌶️🌶️
5 match series is far too long for these days. There will be niggles and injuries at the end of it on both sides.
Smith will bail out Aussies!! Again carry in his best form !
To Indian players - this is what happens when you don't play domestic cricket
Smart well spoken guy
Goes to show just how ignorant this journalist is, when he doesn't even know who the Indian pace bowlers actually are, let alone their qualities. Typical Aussie insular arrogance.
Players under performer to get rid of gautamgabir head coach
India has become a pu$$y team. Defeat them 5-0 then only gambhir rohit and kohli will walk off from India team.
India will win again in Australia by three tests to two.
Arrogance my ass
a team does not lose a match only because of the coach... at this level a coach is only a mentor and does the analysis, it is entirely upto to the arrogant celebrity like players to go out there and perform. Virat and Rohit are not fools not to understand what is happening, let us not forget these people earn atleast 5 Cr everyday, there are not doing national duty here, there are only playing for money . when you get paid so much you should be answerable to the people of this nation who follow you like idiots for such dismal and embarassing performance. you cant just come to india do a couple ad shoots make 20 crores, not score runs and then again go back to UK to spend time with family.
This Indian team are not able to handle the pressure when they are put under the scope. That's what I have noticed. Every time things don't go Rohit's way, he just seems lost and almost gives up and waits for something to happen. The pressure gets to him and he isn't able to handle it.
need to get back Pujara and Rahane immediately
India going as underdogs has always worked in our favour, pressure ll be on Australia to win so in a way that's good for India.
Aussie batting line up is weak too honestly. Onĺy one opener .. our 3 and 4 are totally out of touch. Hopefully mcsweeney and webster join the batting ranks soon.
We have to watch out
I still feel Aus 3-2. Def India low on confidence
Thanks Robert Craddock for your acknowledging this win by the Kiwi.
Wow NZ forever the whipping post have come up with the greatest series sweep in Cricket history 3 zip in India against an Indian team full of current stars with the bat and the ball on wickets tailor made for the Indian spinners wooohoo. This news is only good enough to come second after Aussie v India B
The 2nd & 3rd tests, sure. But the 1st test was heavily in NZ's favour.
Beware the wounded team
How can they say this when Australia's batting is just as unconvincing lol?
If India is vulnerable you guys should be scared
Aussies are very good cricketers and near invincible in their own backyard in test cricket. So its very likely and possible they will win 5-0. But its equally possible India become combative and fight hard like they did last time. If that happens Aussies will find it hard to beat India and India might even win a test match or two its possible they may narrowly win the series. Both results are possible which is why it makes this series brilliant for neutral cricket fans like myself.
46-36-26
16 6 ??
@ nah no sixes
Only comparison in modern times is India themselves winning a series in Australia after being bowled out for 36 in the first test and having almost their entire first choice team injured over the course of the series.
I really do feel sorry for Bancroft, was scoring mountains of runs while Warner was scoring none but had to bide his time while Warner had his farewell tour. The same guy that encouraged Bancroft to use the sandpaper. And now Warner has happily sailed off into the sunset while Bancrofts rich vein of form has ended and Gerard and Robert are drawing a line through Bancrofts career.
Yeah it's like office politics got fkd over now will never play again. Pretty sad
Oh stop it.. Bancroft came up with that ridiculous idea himself.. and he can't bat on an international level. Give him a hundred innings and he'll average 20
Yeah absolutely right. Warner was the main culprit and surprisingly people forget it now.
@@joedont9307 Bancroft "came up with that ridiculous idea himself..."?! Any evidence for this???!!!
@@mikespearwood3914 his own words ... lol
I still believe India 3-2 .
Are you kidding? It’s 5-0 to Australia. How can a team come to Australian shores in such dismal recent form?!
@@angadsinghjohar6561 How are you so sure that India will lose 5-0. Have you seen the future??? Cricket is a game of uncertainties, anything could happen. Even a naive who doesn't understand cricket would have not given a chance to Newzealand after they were whitewashed in Sri Lanka. We have done it in the past twice, so there is no reason that we can't do it again, so keep calm & believe in blue 💙🇮🇳
@angad singhjohar6561 5 bloody 0 no chance whatsoever mate. India will win again in Australia probably 3 2
Wouldn't you say that Bumrah was missing from the Indian team?
That Aussie Top order looked Vulnerable last year. Head n Company bailed them out alot. Sami missing is a huge loss for India.
Aust have had a problem taking 20 Indian wickets in the last 2 home series. They have good bowlers but if the decks are very flat the Indians can grind them down. Does India have the batsmen capable of that anymore? We will see. Looking fwd to a fascinating series. ❤
The decks will not be very flat. Pitches in Australia have been lively in the last three seasons and the larger seam on the Kookaburra makes it tougher for batting than it used to be. There’s a reason why there have been few Test centuries in recent years.
Well now that everyone has started getting so negative with comments like 5-0 for aussies gives me confidence..i can see a similar kind of environment when india were bowled out for 36 in Adelaide..I am quite positive about vk getting runs in australia..And hopefully rohit takes some time play around 50-60 balls before playing aggressively..Yes I agree that defeating BD within 2 days made them complacent..they underestimated the nz team as they had lost 2-0 to SL..It's well known that many Indian batsmen struggle against spin and specifically left arm..then what was the reason of preparing turners...You had a template of beating England 4-1 which were definitely not rank turners and should have continued with the same..Also if you had decided that you would be playing on rank turners then why did you select Siraj..You could have easily selected Axar Patel and that would have been a gamechanger..look at his performance with the bat in bgt which was played in India, the test in BD where he scored a crucial 30 runs..he could have also negated azaz patel and santner to a certain extent..look at his performance with the bat in bgt which was played in India and also the other test matches including the test in BD where he scored a crucial 30 runs.Nz is a class team which are expert in strategizing and then collectively coming up with a performance..you understimated them and you deserved to lose..but having said that I still feel India will put up a much better show in aus..The conditions are different with the pitches having bounce and pace and they should do well. Funnily everyone seems to be writing them off now and this is exactly the situation where I have seen Indian team making a comeback with a vengeance multiple times.
It is because of useless coach in Gambhir and his bunch of jokerd, who should be sacked
Indian youngsters getting retired Because of no chance in india to select
