I think it's great. Best thing I've had for my home full of faux woodgrain laminate. I really would never consider using it for big spills of things that you can sweep up or wipe up first. Silly that they try to market that it's good for that. But if you want the layer of dust and scuffs that accumulate during the week and want to feel like you really cleaned your floor, this does the job very well.

Love my bissell cross wave! Works like a champ, has worn like iron. It’s great how well Bissell thinks out their products, and includes extra stuff along with it.

This product is great for keeping up the floors. I wouldn’t say that this completely deep cleans, but Is one of 3 in my arsenal of tools.
Being that I have 2 dogs to keep up with, I have a cedar clean water & separator for spot mops. “Things that don’t need much work.”
Followed my by the Bissel vacuum mop for General up keep and cleaning. (Weeks days) if needed
Then a dedicated steam mop for deep cleaning ( every weekend)
So overall I agree with what this gentleman said, regarding if the mess that you will be picking up is worth the post cleaning process.
If your dog peed in the house, spot mop, it’s a lot easier.
If you’re wanting to do a deep clean and have a lot of time steam mop as it will heat up and destroy any tough stains.
Lastly, this vacuum up is perfect for general upkeep, such as going over the floors to pick up hair and mopping while you’re at it.

    Customer Service is super!
I accidentally threw away a part, so I had to call for help
I was sent for FREE the part -- I LOVE EASY, SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
The big downside is this product is high maintenance, so I learned the hard way is to clean the product then immediately reassemble
Otherwise, you have strange parts that are hard to put back together unless you are puzzle inclined, as well as parts can easily get lost

That’s great! It’s always nice when our customer service expectations are surpassed. It is a bit of work to clean and I only break it out when I have large jobs. If a couple of paper towels can handle it, in my opinion, it’s not worth the effort. Thank you for watching and commenting. Wishing you the best!

I've used it for a few years now. Most of our 2400 sq ft house is tile, bedrooms are vinyl plank flooring. Overall, it does a good job. I try not to overdue the plank flooring because I'm concerned about water getting in seams and out of reach of the vacuum. I wish there was more contact between the Bissell roller and floor. It seems I have to help the Crosswave (with elbow grease) on tough kitchen drip spots. Today the roller brush stopped turning, something wrong in the roller drive system. So now I have to do a tear down and see if it can be fixed.

I love mine. And I’m so glad that I came upon it when the cordless one was just introduced. It was more expensive. It I had been wanting one for about a year. Since I have had it my friends are seeing it, and three have bought one!!! I am allergic to carpet, so we only have hard wood floors. It does a great job for the major weekly cleaning, and the little accidents in between. I also like the idea of breaking it down to clean. I will also put two or three drops of good smelling scents in the clean water tank. It smells good all through the house. I only have one miniature short hair dachshund, so I rarely see any of his hair. I just love it!!! 😒

Thanks for the review. Is it normal for it to just spit out enough cleaning solution to barely dampen the tile floor? It's not clogged because it's brand new.

I can tell you that on carpet, it does not work. I have the premier, and using the shampoo feature just makes a muddy cake on the inside that will continue to coat the bristles, ensuring your carpet is nice and wet but also never clean.

Nice review. Is it OK to use non-Bissell cleaners in this, and is it time and cost efficient to do that anyway? On another note, re other DIY projects interested in, how about creating organization in cabinetsunder bathroom and kitchen sink that is customized, aesthetic, and doesn't break the bank?

    • @RegularGuyDIY
      @RegularGuyDIY  ปีที่แล้ว

Yes, absolutely. PH neutral, general purpose cleaners work fine. Thank you for the feedback and suggestions. Have a great day!

We have two homes. Each has a different Bissell unit. Our home in the desert has the Crosswave and the home in the city has a Bissell with two spinning pads. I liked your video because it helped me understand the cleaning tray. Thanks so much!

This was extremely helpful as I am looking to buy. I have just a few area rugs and mostly sealed hardwood floors. My big thing is I run over my floors with a vacuum first and then steam cleaner... But have both vacuum and a rotating wet brush... This seems like it might be a good thing.
The tyoes of messes you showed, excellent informative visuals.
As for fitness level, no comment. It's been a little longer for me! 😂
