One of my favourite quotes of all time: "If something's worth doing, it's worth doing badly." Sounds counterintuitive but the less pressure you put on yourself to do something perfectly, the more likely you are to actually make a good job of it. Example: I wanted to go on a run this weekend and was nervous because I usually run 10km and wasn't feeling up for it. So I decided to just aim for 5km... I ended up at home, 3 hours later, having run TWENTY THREE KILOMETRES. The power of convincing your mind you'll do less!
"Anything you do outside of the fundamentals, is really just getting in the way of you doing the fundamentals more" -- that quote. that quote right there.
Cheers for the shoutout Nikhil! Your program has been ridiculously game changing for me as a writer and creator, and I can't believe how far you've taken me in only a couple of months. Highly recommended.
Your recent videos are getting so much better. I think I just love this style so much more as it feels very well thought out, yet natural; like talking to a friend. Keep it up 👌
One of my favorite quotes "if you want unusual results, you need unusual habits". 90%+ of people don't follow all the basics you talked about here! And it's crazy how much impact they can rub off on the rest of your life. If you're looking for unusual levels of success, then you can start by pushing yourself to unusual levels in your habits. I just made a video diving on this deeper if anyone cares to check it out!
"When you notice your mental health declining, do one small thing that brings you peace. Take a shower, text a loved one, step outside. One little step is all you need to remind yourself that this is not permanent." 🙏🏼

Mad respect for advocating cold approach ... honestly goes deeper than daygame. Beautiful women are a beautiful by-product of a beautiful life and daygame is simply a means of delivering the value you have built to the world ... thank you for your obscenely valuable content ... keep smashing life bro!
I love your videos, I’ve been going through heartbreak and have been practicing some of the things you discuss. it’s only been 5 days since I’ve started really focusing on improving but I feel back to my positive and happy self. Working out, SR, and trying to help others/spread your positivity will make you feel so fulfilled!
Hey captain.I am glad that you play tennis.I am recreational tennis player.I would strongly suggest you to play tennis regularly. Its lik a meditation for me.Vivekanda rightly quoted that "You can nearer to heaven through football/sports than through the study of gita.
I recently started watching you nikhil and it's really good to see a fellow indian preaching self improvement. I am new to this self improvement genre of youtube and it's really motivating for me to watch your videos and get some morals, values out of it, I hope this is your year and keep advancing my guy!
Man I love you videos so much. I’m proud to say that I’ve been following this channel since 35k subs and whenever I’m in a rut, I revisit your videos/watch some new ones. It makes me happy to see you’re still doing great work. Thank you my friend.
Just finished about my 20th watch of this. Such a powerful video. Can you do one on “do these 5 things every day to pursue your goal?” I feel like the video would have a section like 5 things to get promoted, 5 things to be more well read, 5 things ti get ti 12% body fat…” where it’s 5 daily things for 6 months or whatever. We all have anxiety over what trees to actually cut.
And maybe on the lifestyle challenges, let’s do one together! Live like Marcus Aurelius for 30 days and then we all link for your video or something. I don’t know man I just love this channel and have a million ideas
Sinbad you've come a long way!! i remember your old videos talking about being an actor and know you're already making inspiring videos! great job mate
This was such a great video. I'm a med student and my professor told me that, just by learning his basics and fundamentals, he has cured more patients than a specialist ever could.
Hello, as talented as you are, all the videos I saw that you made, what I came to realize is that all throughout them, you are very inspirational, and personally speaking, you have made a very big difference in how I pursue my objectives and even how I see every new challenge in my life. I am certainly saving up to get your youtube course, as I am truly inspired by your videos, your comments and most of what you say in them. Thank you for being a true inspiration for me and my future better self in the making.
Having competed and trained with guys that went to the Olympics in judo, you're 100% right. What separated them from the guys that never quite got there was a constant, relentless focus on basics. They always turned up to training well-rested. They always watched their weight. They spent a lot of time drilling basic techniques. The other guys? They'd miss sessions. They'd always be looking for the shiny new combination or technique. They'd enjoy their weekends a little too much. When the differences played out over a number of years, the disparity in results was impossible to miss. Going back to regular life though, it's so simple: focus on the basics over years, and you're going to slingshot past the vast majority of people who complain that life is hard. Another bangin video man.
I love how you linked this to runescape - after I graduated I realised I had to adopt the mindset of building my own character, essentially real life runescape and you can learn whatever skill you want
thank you mr sinbad, you are definitely one of the greats!!! changing my life in every video I watch, making me do more activities in the present rather than just procrastinating forever. thanks again!!!
Honestly fills me up to see you doing well Nick. This was one of those videos I wish I could like twice. I’ve been watching you for a while and the value you’ve delivered to me and others is simple, smart and authentic. You’re a star bro! Keep it up 😎
Cheers, king. As someone of similar age and ethnicity, I really resonate with the structure of your videos and how you approach self-help and personal growth. I struggle with anxiety, and your approach to no-fap has really helped me. I watch your videos whenever I feel lost or get those sexual urges, and you do a lot for me. I would really appreciate it if you could delve deeper into the realm of dating, discussing the positives and negatives of short-term and long-term relationships, such as marriage. Additionally, I would like to know how you balance your time, as I struggle with managing my own personal growth alongside my studies/work and unexpected life circumstances. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I appreciate you, and if you're reading this, thank you."

I am so happy that you are doing so well! Your content is just so helpful, not only to guys, I tell you this as a woman. I wish I could be friends with you, you seem a really interesting person to talk to! Wish you the best 😊
sticking to the basics is so important... we try to achieve advanced skills and get overwhelmed and quit midway instead of just doing the basics. Doing the basics can get you far.
Ive been trainning in MMA/Kickboxing for nearly a decade and this concept of focusing on the fundamentals over complex systems of attacking and trainning is 100% accurate from experience. E.g going from benching 60kg to 115kg in 6 months of only bench pressing and running only 500m to 40km in a day with only running in 6 months lol. Similarly in combat sports the basics of jabs, cross, hooks, leg and body kicks in addition to wrestling and basic chokeholds are 85% of the sport even there are multiple dozens of more areas that are high impact aswell e.g switching stance, head kicks, skipping rope, leg locks, clinch striking etc.
Hey man I hope you read this. Been a fan since the first 10,000 subs. I feel like the motorcycle and pilot type and 7-figure run rate talk creates a distance between us (you and your audience). It starts to feel like you’ve made it and we’re no longer on the journey together. I promise I’m Being sincere and love your content to death, i just respect you enough to say this.
I would like to add one more thing to the basics list. --- Drink enough water, my rule is the one I had most success with is to drink 3 ml of water for every 1g of food I eat. This way I end up eating less but healthy food.
Again another frickin gem of a video. I'm really liking this longer form of content. You're packing so much gold in each video bro. Super inspirational. Just some constructive criticism. Take this super lightly as I don't make quality content like you and have literally no experience in making good videos. Your longer form of content is really nice to watch but this video might be cutting it close with how long you can go while retaining my attention. Personally a 19 - 25 minute video seems like the perfect length where I'm super engaged and don't get tired near the end. But all in all, super awesome video.
This is the mindset i love to incorporate and advocate others! Its crazy how much one can achieve just by focusing on the fundamentals. Truly one of my fav vids
Love the message here - it aligns w what you talk about a lot that I LOVE: This idea that greatness is achieved through being consistent as fuck at the basics, not through esoteric shit that most ppl will try to sell you online. Thanks king
Amazing video Captain. It's really reassuring hearing from people who are ahead that the basics are that much important. And thank you, particularly for the tips on TH-cam channel growth.
One of my best pickups was at Starbucks and I had a bag of organic peanuts (10 pounds) bought straight from the farmer, and I just straight away offered to the lady across the communal working table. Girl wasn't my best pickup and I didn't follow up after, but it showed me that it was possible and it just required an authentic openess of heart (and not peacocking).
Good, wholesome advice. 1. I want to see how productivity gurus phase into married life and parenthood. 2. On finding a bride, there is also what I call "warm approaching". This is approaching women you see regularly but never speak with, for example on campus or buildings that have many companies. You can book space at a restaurant with a few people months in advance and then increase the numbers when you meet new people. I have tried this with great success starting with 6 and ending with 30. People are lonely and want to make real (not online) friends. You can be the catalyst for that. It also demonstrates the competency that makes the right woman yield to you. 3. What is the online female counterpart to the self-improvement bros? Their NoFap equivalent presumably would be to remain virgins until marriage, and to learn domestic skills. It's really good to see a fellow Anglophone south Asian immigrant on the other side of the pond doing well.
You have changed , drastically , i too , but in different direction you have gone from random -> multitasking : dating, gym , sports. i have gone from : movie watching , video watching : to : career focus working , and awareness. I don't know how to multitask , like I think of getting into that rainbow personality , i feel i might lose my edge, as i wont be at experience level as i should have been i can see people succeded at all rainbow things and i just not get amazing results even after all my efforts. precaustions, self isolation from talking to non domain talks , etc. I just don't feel like a king .
I watched a video about someone talking about the time he got to see Kobe practice for a couple hours. He was very surprised to find that for a good amount of time, Kobe was just practicing the basic drills and movements. That goes to show how far just the basics can take you
Skin care, fitness and nutrition are all pareto principled. You make small incremental gains by grinding super hard consistently but you can maintain what you've already achieved by going down as low as 20% of what you did to get there.
I think the quote you are grasping at @9:25 is Alex Hormozi's idea that success is doing the same things over and over without convincing yourself you are smarter than you are. Love your videos are always!
Looking forward to the living like Roger Federer video, but honestly the GOAT djokovic embodies the stuff you mentioned in the video more than anybody else. Roger Federer is arguably more 'talented' than djokovic, but djokovic surpassed his achievements by sticking to the fundamentals. Djokovic is crazy strict about his diet, practices pranayama and yoga every day and hai fanatical about not missing this practice, he practices cold immersion, his preparation pre match for the opponents is very detailed and rigorous, and he dedicates a good amount of time to meditation and mind training as well to make sure he's always in the present even in the heat of battle, and that's why he is the most clutch player the game has ever seen. He does the fundamentals but then also does some things which the majority will say is crazy shit, but he does a lot of visualization, believes in the law of attraction, has often spoken about preserving 'vital energy', etc and this has helped him steal victory from the clutches of defeat, often times vs Roger Federer
Indians are so cool. The are the new rising power. I wonder what is it about their culture that has brought them this far. It seems to me that a strong family union plays a huge roles. Some of the most important CEO’s are from that country.
Amazing video Capt! Love your content man. You feel a lot more genuine and human than some other TH-camrs. You also seem to be looking healthier but maybe that’s just me looking a little too deeply. Cheers!
This has kinda been my style of working out. To expand on it, I really just focus on the more basic, compound exercises. So many workout plans add in all these complex isolation movements that I don't really feel are necessary. If you want more results, just increase your volume of the basic exercises.
Hey Captain, SO proud to hear you've gotten into tennis. Ive been playing since I was a kid and never stopped even now in my mid 20s. Tennis is a special sport IMO cuz you learn so much about life. You have ups and downs and you have to remain stoic through it all, e.g not dwelling on mistakes and not overcelebrating a great shot. Also, unlike most sports which have a time buzzer e.g soccer, basketball etc, in tennis YOU are responsible for sealing the win and ending the game. It's play to the last point not play to the buzzer. I know this sounds abit overanalytical but tennis has taught me so much about personal responsibility and dealing with the highs and lows of life. It's also great for burning calories and having fun 😀
Sometimes doing the not so exciting/boring stuff is the best way to have BIG outcomes... it just kinda snowballs and you only notice it when you look back that you got a lot of shiz done. Lol'ing at the Runescape metaphor, brings me back.
I believe that applying aggression can be a bit cyclical in a sense that the moment you feel like you're at an aptitude that is sufficient, you can probably start doing other things that could compliment that trait. You can always go back and get better at that skill but once you get good at several things you can attempt to put them together in a way that makes sense. Even at a somewhat rudimentary level, mentally you can start to be a bit explorative with whatever basics you are honing. This will help your critical thinking and it will have a compound effect as you get more advanced with that skill. In that sense, both basic and advanced skills are in your toolbox, and can be applied whenever you see fit, which of course takes experience. At an advanced level, the thing is sometimes you can be, in some ways, withheld from applying a lot of the skills that you have developed. I believe this is when you need to be a bit surgical and dissect whatever you have learned and come up with something new. This new modality, in and of itself, has to be very adaptable to changes.
Really needed to hear this. The greatest periods of growth in my life consisted of doing the “boring stuff” at high volumes. Everything else is just noise.
Not abandoning the basics truly is the most important part of improving at something. One example I like is how even the very best (wind instrument) musicians practice breathing at the start of every practice. Eventually you require more exercises and techniques to keep improving, but maintaining those very basic yet fundamental skills is crucial. Many people talk about trying to find "hacks" to help themselves improve, but until you're at that top 5% level, it just ends up being a waste of effort. If you are trying to shoot for that level, however, it takes a hell of a lot of time, effort, and work to find out what you need to do to continue improving and then to consistently implement it.
Hey sindbad, missing the BTK podcast brother, I have listened to all the episodes at least twice now. I know you might be swamped in doing what you do but please bring back the BTK Podcasts.
Been watching you for a while now and once again a good, entertaining and helpful video. Thanks! Also, it's good to see you winning man. Keep crushing it. 🚀
Remember you mentioned a UFC trainer who talked about "not getting sore " on the JRE podcast? That idea can really help with putting in a consistently high volume of work. It can be like not pushing yourself to an extreme while working etc.

I think the quote you are grasping at @9:25 is Alex Hormozi's idea that success is doing the same things over and over without convincing yourself you are smarter than you are. Love your videos are always!
Thanks for sharing your wisdom Sinbad, keep up the hard work!
This was incredibly inspiring bro. Keep it up.
What intro man!!!
Hands down.....the best!!!
One of my favourite video's of yours in a while. Keep it up 🙌
“To uncover your true potential you must first find your own limits and then you have to have the courage to blow past them.”
Thank you for your words of wisdom and support, Captain.
The videos are just getting better and better brother
Your so right 😮, I was consistently investing my money and things started to come together.
LOVE the intro music. Beautifuly crafted video!
Your videos have gotten so much better over the years. It is amazing to watch you grow brother 🔥💪
That insane intro🔥🔥🔥🔥
That indian feeling in beginning is just ❤️
Indians are so cool. The are the new rising power. I wonder what is it about their culture that has brought them this far. It seems to me that a strong family union plays a huge roles. Some of the most important CEO’s are from that country.
Man the reality is in mainland India people are adopting western culture more and more
Commeting for reach. Keep it up Pandey ji!
So humble, we love your videos, Sinbad
Intro 🔥🔥
Your channel is still the first part of my morning routine everyday. It gets me into the right mindset before the gym.
Amazing video Capt! Love your content man. You feel a lot more genuine and human than some other TH-camrs. You also seem to be looking healthier but maybe that’s just me looking a little too deeply. Cheers!
Intro song is Addictive Nikhil Bhai ❤️👌
Mast Ekdumm 😘
This has kinda been my style of working out. To expand on it, I really just focus on the more basic, compound exercises. So many workout plans add in all these complex isolation movements that I don't really feel are necessary. If you want more results, just increase your volume of the basic exercises.
man this guy is so relevant to me run, I'm slightly older but without all the achievements, struggling with consistency all my life :D
The glasses really suit you 🥂
Hey Captain, SO proud to hear you've gotten into tennis.
Amazing video. Really appreciated. This is the kind of video that really can change live trajectory. Thanks
Love the RuneScape metaphor, for me it was Mining Coal ❤
That intro gave me goosebumps almost. Idk never thought I will hear Hindi lyrics in your video as intro
*ayy like the song choice in the start of the vid, great vid!*
Hey sindbad, missing the BTK podcast brother, I have listened to all the episodes at least twice now. I know you might be swamped in doing what you do but please bring back the BTK Podcasts.

That intro song gave me a goosebump.
Best wishes Captain !!
Thanks for adding The great intro song , Aaqa from Coke studio 9, amazing starting for any positive video
Been watching you for a while now and once again a good, entertaining and helpful video. Thanks!
Also, it's good to see you winning man. Keep crushing it. 🚀
Dude I'm so so proud you finally expanded on your experience with Runescape
Remember you mentioned a UFC trainer who talked about "not getting sore " on the JRE podcast? That idea can really help with putting in a consistently high volume of work. It can be like not pushing yourself to an extreme while working etc.
That Indian intro song hit it out of the park! Yeah!
Nikhil bro that intro is a work of art ❤
"Gugu Gaga you so sexy" is the highlight of my day
Love this channel. I haven't been here for a while but I'm glad I'm back. Greatness is coming
