It's funny, for a guy who talked in his last video about being scared of wasting his life, you're certainly packing it all in man. If you ever get that feeling again, just take a look back at everything you've done in the years since you started this channel - the amount you've achieved, the consistent improvement in quality of your work, the experiences you've had, your maturity and most importantly, your zest for life. You're absolutely killing it man.
Hey Nikhil, your videos actually have made a lot of difference in the way i perceive things. Despite the average age group of this channel is around 25-30 year old, being a 19 years old being here feels like I'm getting the wisdom which most people get through harsh experiences early in my life. This was yet another much needed topic for me.
I remember when I was a young buck thinking I was gonna euro step my way to success through what I learned on YT since I was early to the knowledge. But then life came up to bat and while the youtube videos helped it cannot save you from the bluntness of real life coming at you full steam ahead. Don’t take pride in being early, your at bat will come and you may fumble your early advantage, which is fine cuz you’ll have plenty more of bats ahead. My whole point in writing this is don’t try to deadline your success by a certain age. Just keep taking shots and doing what you want to do. It’s okay to get older, as long as you’re closing loops you’re moving in the right direction.
That Achilles physique is the goal man! Also thank you for uploading two videos in one week, we getting spoiled over here. Also you are in the perfect place to do a lean bulk. Bro in 6 months you are going to pack on like 20 pounds of muscle and it's going to change the freakin game
Chapters for this video seem to be messed up, here are the correct ones: 0:00 Intro 1:46 1. Close open loops 5:59 2. Next strategic move 10:15 3. The Bugenhagen method 14:58 4. Side quests 18:28 5. Space 19:53 Summing up 20:31 Outro
"Open loops" I love that and I'm using this instead of "Current projects" from now on, it allows you to think more broadly in your life on all things that you haven't finished, thank you Nikhil
Boy I need a breakthrough right now! Appreciate your content sir. I’ve been trying to figure out what makes your content special? Is it the visuals? Super nice, but no. Is it the good looks? Def not. Is it the writing? YES SIR. Keep delivering and saying something worth hearing!👍🏾
Time stamps: The ones on here are off 1:52 Close Open Loops 6:01 Next Strategic Move 10:22 The Bugenhagen Method 15:02 Side Quests 18:32 Space I got you Nikhil. This was my next strategic move. To those with an eye for detail Nikhil would prob say, Greatness is coming, or something lol.
Right now Im reading "play to win" by the former CEO of P&G who saved the company, and made them the largest CPG company in the U.S. And he really talks about the importance of strategy, and how to get ahead of your competition. People rarely just sit down and think about the next best step to getting closer to their goals.
You know the side quest idea is really good. I remember when I used to play Skyrim I did a lot of side quests and kinda neglected the main quests. But when I did return to it I was just way too OP for the mainquest. The same could hold true for life. I was already somewhat doing it but now I'll lean into this idea a little more.
Lost 29KGs over the last 15 months and now I've hit the plateau. This open loop has been pestering me for a while because I wanted to lose another 10 but The Bugenhagen method was what I really needed! I've a lot going on now because I really did run fitness into the ground and worked very low hours but now I'm getting back into the grind for it and I just needed it. Imma juat maintain and close another loop. Thanks a lot captain!
Separating the cinematic efforts is hella smart, like using Hormozis principle of NO and unit task focusing - classic Nikhil Sinbsd move reminding us to remember the basics on our own goals - #greatnessiscoming
Very interesting concept. The idea of having a break thru every 5-6 months sounds really amazing, I've just had my mirst major break thru (so I feel) after being in this personal development bubble for ~2/3 years and it felt incredible. Looking forward to try the concept from this video out, I will take an evening next week and wirte my loops down and plan everything! :)
I’ve always thought the same towards something like fitness. Even you feel like you’re not getting much out of many things you want in life, fitness will always give you something in return if you work for it. It literally cannot not!
I set very realistic goals for myself in January this year for 6 months but haven't been able to do much about them. I need to close the loops, need to get good in the second half of 2023. Thanks Captain
I've reached a point where I don't know if I'm perseverant or simply stubborn. One of my favorite things is achieving a reachable goal that depends solely on me, creating momentum. However, I've been experiencing plateau moments recently because I need help to reach the next level, and this is the most challenging part: finding a business partner (despite the fact I can provide ALL promo material for ad campaigns, from full-voiced animated trailers to images/illustrations). My creative product is challenging to sell because it falls into a niche category. Anyways. Awesome video, Nikhil! (Always loved your visual narrative)
Key points 2 : open loops = things that we start but not finish ( nothing would really happens ) things only have power whrn it finished, when they are completed in full, not 10% or 30% because it has zero value, anything that isn't incomplete that causes mental calculations it slows down one of those open loops is your next strategic move, focus all of your effort on that ( goal that what is 100% possible ) close that open loops Close open loops = make a log of all ofnyour open loops then resolve to start closing those loops from easiest to harderst The bugebhagen method = employ that method : blast that ine loop into the ground ubtul you plateau then when you hitbthe plateau, switch
Thanks for the open loop advice, I just wrote down a list of 25+ things some things that have been on my mind for years, definitely gonna start with those will be a huge relief and joy to go through.
Great video! A good way to look at achieving goals. I also liked the black and white graphics for each idea - it looked really good and clear 👍 I think 'greatness' isn't just coming - it's already arrived 😃
This coffee table in my small space has been getting in my way and I was waiting to find a new smaller one to finally get rid of it. But I started this video and you talked about closing loop holes and making room for the new and I could not have torn that table apart any faster lol. Making room for more yoga, exercise, and editing while on my walking treadmill. Small side quest complete! Thanks!
I like the open loop idea. The imagery that’s coming to mind is that of a chain mail vest, you need to close the loops so that it doesn’t fall apart and you are working towards this full vest that is your life
Great Video Nikil! Lately your videos consistently rejuvenate my creative spirit. In the self improvement space, its affirming to see someone so passionate about expanding their creative ideas. As an aspiring creator, and lifelong artist, it really gives me hope.
As an Australian, I appreciate that someone finally calls them "chin-ups" again. I don't like "pull-ups"... it just doesn't sound as good. Plus chin-up literally means "a better outlook on life".
Hey Nikhil , Aditya this side i have been your subscriber before u hitted 100k Subs I really love your videos but sometimes feel sad that how underrated they are I just wanted to give a suggestion to use more AI tools for better animations and transitions and please try to advertise yourself on instagram and other meta apps We Indians are highly affected by a good advertisement Please try to keep with social media and it's marketing strategies so that you could grow faster and get the subs you deserve ! ~Har har Mahadev ❤
the more i listen you the more i get the direction & cure to almost every single problem that many people like me are having right now. Thankyou for providing these videos these are literally what i needed
My next strategic move: finish annotating “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and then go over it again in a different color highlighter and pen. I plan to get this done in about 1.5 months.
Hey Nikhil, really appreciate your content, these videos where you talk about your goals and how to approach them I like the best! Just a weekly checkin would mean the most to me. I'm always happy to see the checkin. Till the next one (or the replay of an old one ;) )
Glad you’re expanding on your bubble analogy since this was touched upon in your previous video. Success, even if “small” begets more success. It’s all about creating that momentum.
Thank you Nikhil for your videos. They are almost always relatable and appliable to my life. Greatness is surely coming, greatness was within us all along
Maybe it's better not to love something or someone. Yes it's a lonely life but it's much more lonely when that someone is gone. They may have loved you for a short time but you will love them for a lifetime.
Bubbles like goals, right? Those early birds with notifications on know what’s up. 😏 Love this new format, Cap - as much as your cheerful and lighthearted energy. Stay glorious, man, and greatness is coming! 🔥🙌🏽👏🏽💜
I'm on your channel whenever I feel low, and just hearing you even for the smallest amount of time gets me back to the work ALWAYS! Never stop making these videos ❤
Just had a breakthrough (sort of) a paper I wrote during the summer got a good response from my professors and I can now sharpen it for submission to a decent journal by the end of the month.
I dunno if people can relate tho the next thing that I sort of want to work on becomes almost immediately visible whenever I work on just 1 thing extensively and not doing much else besides trying to be as optimal as I can in hitting that target. I believe that it's quite a bit of serendipity but the more I live the more it sort of becomes intuition. This video screamed tfw but I can mostly relate personal issues aside.
Your videos have been clicking with me much more lately. I can’t put my finger on it but I’m getting the old Captain Sinvad energy back when you had longer hair in your bedroom talking about nofap😂 you’re more actualized tho and seem to filling in that peak male smv🗿
As my mum used to yell at me by saying, how can you relax when you have something to do in front of you? this video reminded me of that. I could so so relate to the topic However I have one q for you today, How do you manage people's view on your process? I personally went through a big change, lost 24 kg in 2 years. and I kind of always kept looking for appreciation for that but never got it. No doubt it feels great to have achieved that but still feels incomplete because no one said it's great .
This video was amazing!! Probably my favourite since the millionaire one a month or so ago. Started listing my open loops just now - time to close some of them up and work on my strategic move!

Great video . One more thing which might be useful is to prioritise the open loops and remove unimportant ones
Just had a breakthrough (sort of) a paper I wrote during the summer got a good response from my professors and I can now sharpen it for submission to a decent journal by the end of the month.
Really love the concept about viewing side quests as a way of gaining experience or knowledge to help you on your main journey. Great work man!
Great job. Very informative. No doubt in my mind you will finish your screenplay and be happy with how it turned out.
One of the more practical and helpful videos I've seen. Good job
I'm happy that you're uploading more frequently than before 😊
"Embrace the nature of the side quests"

That Satyamave jayate music........
The advice about closing loops is gold
Bang on with all this stuff. Keep it up!
Nothing like waking up on a Sunday morning and drinking a fresh cup of chai while watching Captain's new upload 😍
Wow , Indian Song in the intro ,Only our Captain Sinbad can do that
Loved how it really fitted well with your brolls😊
This video was amazing!! Probably my favourite since the millionaire one a month or so ago. Started listing my open loops just now - time to close some of them up and work on my strategic move!
I am so thankful that I am subscribed to this channel. Great stuff 💯
so much good points.. 1st time rewatching a captain sinbad video
Please do a video on your health journey and how you manage it
The open loops thing is also called the Zaigarnik Effect, first introduced to me on the Chris Williamson/ChrisWilX/Modern Wisdom podcast.
Love your videos. Wish you good luck on your journey
Your videos are always the highest quality. Thank you very much.
My next strategic move is to join the captain sinbad team 👀
Bro - we will be ready in 8 days
bro banger intro song had completely forgotten about the song thanks

Thanks for this Nikhil! I do listen to videos while driving and I appreciate that you're keeping this in mind when making these videos.
Inspirational bro got too many open loops myself. Btw where do you get your music from?
Great inspiration!
TYSM bro, I really needed this 💙🙏

This is good. Love it.
Great vid as always bro. One of the best channels on TH-cam
When I am cooked, I can always count on Captain Sinbad to deliver me a fresh perspective, with a new dose of motivation. Keep making videos!
Look into nucleous overload you are kind of talking about it in the fitness part of "opens loop" ;)
I’d check the time stamps if I were you. But as always, great video Nikhil; forever relevant

Satyamev Jayate!
I really dig the side quest analogy
When the captain uploads a video, you know its a good day❤
The Satyamev Jayate intro music was very nice & unexpected. Good going man!
8:58 lmao his eyes when he says "achieving that goal..." what an animal
2 videos in a week? Christmas came early! Love the wisdom, brown boys get it done 💪🏾
