@Jaby the plastic that are save for food and drink is the one with BPA free and if you check the outside base on plastic container there will be a triangle shape logo with number on center of it so the save one for food and drink are the triangle with number 5 on the center
Actually here in India in north we have paranta (flat bread) and in South its either dosa(savory crepe) or idili or upma or pongal
Eggs don’t need refrigeration at all. Almost (just for the that negligible probability). It stays perfect for 60 to 90 days. It just about always gets finished before it goes bad. The refrigerator can however keep it safer from other issues like falling down, eaten by pets etc

I've heard a lot that American eggs are processed in a way where they remove the waxy layer on the egg, which is why they go bad sooner, so y'all have to refrigerate them, whereas a lot other places, like Europe or Asia, the layer is there hence eggs can be kept outside. Again I don't know what every country does to different products, and yes refrigeration does extent the shelf life of a lot of products.

Storing fried rice/food just covered and on the table is very normal in South East Asia.
I think the quick meal things might have to do with food type...One was mostly processed and canned food while Asians don't eat canned food and proccessed food even if they need it quick...and he made a rice dish with eggs and veggies which is more healthy according to Asian culture...love you fresh veggies...

All kind of plastic decompose atleast at the micro level wich do get in our body. I've started using glass bottles and cast iron cookwares and will never use non stick. No matter how much they advertise it as safe, it DO release micro plastics into the food. Babies today have been found to be born with micro plastic in yheir blood so its way serious than meets the eye.

It's not just about cooking stuff. Even serving hot food or drinks in plastic boxes or bottles, and then consuming it, can increase the risk of cancer.

Just so you know eggs in the US have to be refrigerated while those in india do not. There is an actual biological reason for it, which i do not remember. So I'll leave some work for you to find out.

Indian have been using metals like cast iron , brass and bronze for cooking and serving from centuries. Plastic is a 'gift' from west.
As a rajasthani (state in north India) we eat rice occasionally like once a month for me. And i have never expected to come it from far away 😂. Maybe not every part of India eat that much rice everyday.
