The tension is not like usual tension the main problem is that Pakistan and their gov itself trains terrorist to attack in India and ofcourse indian have never done that but Pak army and gov keep on hiding terorrists even osama binladen was found there when USA went to search IRAQ instead knowingly and killed millions of people including civilians and childrens they damn well knew osama wasn't there but they wanted Iraqi OIL and they needed a perfect reason to blame which they got "weapon of mass destruciton"
so where was i........... ahh yeah and yeah some say "normal people aren't like that what can we do if gov. and armies of their are hleping terorirst but normal people are not like that" but the thing is those terrorist are considered as heros that are fighting for their ISLAM RELIGION so that is bad.....
since their religious book is kinda you know kinda not so good and promotes hatred so they have deep hatred inside, non-muslims are called kafirs and during partition they had 15% hindus now it's less than 2% most of them are forcibly converted by pulbic btw and minors girls are r*ped and then convereted and or foricbly married to old muslim guys and converted from hindu, christians to muslims,
and the main issue is many muslims in india support this and even during india vs pak match not all muslims but some support pakistan instead of their own country and want india to turn into like pakistan an islamic country their exitence is just religion so that's why all this hatred is created

Just to make you understand we don't understand Arabic.. that's different but urdu and hindi literature is different i.e we can't read each other but we talk the same with little influence difference. Also as Pakistan is nothing it was just born from India after 1947. So the pre 47 we are same.
But guys thanks for checking this out as it made us watch again.
Great Edit, Great Review and Great score as well nostalgia.
Also regarding the first song , India is not for beginners.. festivals in india are colorful , energy, out of the way and that's way it was okay also it establishes the main guy to be a devotee of Bajarangbali (the god who himself is a devotee of the God Shree Rama ) so for us it makes sense that a guy who is such a devotee would dance and celebrate Hanuman's (Bajarangbali's) festival.

@@Akash-e3qI did not say it's a "fun" fact, just that it is a fact. Urdu is a language influenced by both Hindi and Farsi. No census will say that someone speaks Hindustani, because that categorisation is not officially used. If it were, then Hindi and Urdu would simply be dialects. Two of the biggest lyricists are Javed Akhtar and Gulzar both write their lyrics in Urdu. And Urdu in itself is Indian, so I don't see what your issue is.

It's not the same language for god sake stop this misinformation. Base of Hindi is devnagari script and sanskrit. While Urdu is majorly Arabic Persian with little bit of Hindi functioning like conjunction. It originated from Uttar Pradesh. It's just bollywood And we common people have stopped using proper Hindi and speak Urdu in general without realising it.

So yeah, as a lot of folks have mentioned, Urdu and Hindi are pretty similar and speakers of one can communicate easily with speakers of the other. I once met an Iranian dude who spent a lot of time and had learned Urdu in Pakistan while working at the front desk of a motel in the bumfuck, nowhere in Midwest America, and we just talked for hours, him in Urdu and me in Hindi. It was a refreshing experience after just having a sea of white folk lmao.

The bit that gets me the most is when Pawan finally learns that her real name is Shahida. I tear up every time. The interaction between Nawaz and Salman is brilliantly executed. A very powerful scene.....it speaks on so many levels. Pawan's love for this little girl echoes way beyond who and what she is but she will always be his 'Munni'. A true example of unconditional love.
This is Salman's best movie ever! IMO....As for Harshali, it was the most amazing breakout performance I have ever seen.
Her parents reaction when they finally hear her speak is absolutely Golden too 🥰

But the song's purpose is entirely something else. It establishes salman's character in a way. Munni is from Pakistan and that song shows her the festive culture of India. Plus, hanumanji is a symbol of bravery and pure heart along with humility amg other things, which is salman's character's characteristics too. Out of so many, Munni basically follows him as she most likely got good vibes from him.

Little fun story about the ending scene: Nearly a year ago at this point, the director, Kabir Khan, shared in an interview where he spoke of filming the ending scene that Shahida’s voice is actually a last minute dub of his own daughter.
On the last day of mixing, while showing the film to the Execs, it came to their attention that they had messed up big time. They had tried stretching the audio to match the tempo of the moment, but in doing so they’d ended up majorly distorting it to the point that it made no sense to the people that weren’t involved in the shoot, therefore didn’t know what Shahida was supposed to be saying. And much to their horror, whomever they asked (some of the regular workers there, like the security guards) to check if they could understand what she was saying said it made no sense to them. Panic began, coz by the time of this discovery it was past 11 PM or something, and they had to send the file the next day itself. Then Kabir Khan had an idea. His daughter happened to be the same age as Shahida is supposed to be, which could probably work since Harshaali (the little wonder) had played a mute girl. But he was still anxious if he should call for her to come in coz it was late and she had school the next day. Nonetheless he called up his wife and asked her to bring their daughter in the studio for maybe, like, 15-20 minutes tops, and explained what the situation was. She was reluctant at first, coz school is important, but relented and brought her there.
At around midnight, a groggy little cutie strode over into the studio, asking her Pappa what was going on, why she’d been woken up so late, and Daddy Khan calmly explained what she had to do.
I’ll come back with the link. Hang on.
Edit: Here - he starts speaking of it at around the 7:20 mark (towards the end)
