Seeing Shanoa warms my heart. She found a purpose in life although temporary.
My first castlevania game, Order of Ecclesia. Shanoa was a great character, and a strong one at that considering she's a none belmont. And the story was a melancholic tale I loved

This game showed Castlevania more love than Konami ever will.
I guess Konami showed some love by allowing such a thing. But yeah, I get what you are saying.

I love that Simon, Richter, Maria, Alucard, Trevor, Sypha, Hector, Death & Drac all have their own skins.
But not Shanoa :(

I love this dlc. The paintings and random encounters in drac's castle have been great! Even the fake save point
Actually, in assist mode with infinite lives, the save point always appears and respawns you if you die
The alternate music from Fractured Shrines made me cry. Order of Ecclesia has a special place in my heart, also Shanoa's presence is satisfying even if she has about 3 sprites

Missed the CArmilla mask room and the SAve room with the "polyedron"
The secret in the prologue dates back to a glitch in the first Castlevania from 1986 on the FDS. It also appears in multiple Castlevania s, 4 and Rondo being notable.
you didnt mentioned Dracula's throne Room or the other attacks he uses, they are also from Order of Ecclesia, the Bite grab, the Kicks, his Walking animation, the Bat waves
Motion Twin showed Castlevania more love than Konami has in a LONG time.
the secret staircase just before dracula isnt originally from sotn.
rondo of blood had it too (with the prologue of sotn being a recreation of that same scene)
in fact its closer to rondo of bloods version than sotns, being invisible and no switches needing to be pressed.

You didn't mention the dialogue interaction if you fight Dracula with the Maria skin on.
(Edit) Literally EVERY Castlevania skin has unique dialogue with Dracula. Even the Haunted Armor. (Which is my favorite interaction lmao)
He also comments in disbelief if he takes a lot of damage from Maria's Cat.

This is cool, but, I kinda wish when games reference castlevania...they would do more then "classics, and symphony of the night" they aren't the only good castlevania games :( (Like, it surprised me that they even added Shanoa)

When you go to Fight Dracula, from the second Clock Tower entrance. Invisible path near some rocks.
You missed Carmilla's bloody tear and SotN save room.

Да тоже слышал что конами за бошку взялись. Если новые части SH выстрелят, то будут реанимировать. Они еще и возрождать серию suikoden собираются.

Look up the Konami code if you want details; I'm not as knowledgeable on it but I think it's up, up, down, down, left, right, B, A. Maybe right, left if that's wrong.
Where do you input that though? I haven't seen this on here
Before you start you're run (when you spawn) you use the control stick or the d-pad
The correct code is up up down down left right left right B A. You need the DLC for it to work just do that on spawn and then you should have the Morning Star.
It only works once per save file
Is this just referencing certain scenes from SOTN, or recreating large parts of it? Or is this an entirely new castle map? So confused

If you want something that is easily accessable and a Igavania style (leveling system, big map to explore, items to collect), go with Symphony of the Night. If you get Requiem (has SotN and Rondo of Blood), it gives you two great titles in both of the standard Castlevania styles.
Symphony of the Night. Its a classic and one of the most liked ones in the series for a reason.
Depends, there are Classicvanias and Metroidvanias
If you wanna play Classicvanias, look no further than Castlevania 1, 2, 3 on the NES and Super Castlevania 4 on the Snes.
For Metroidvanias, i guess you should start with an easy one, like Symphony of the night for PSX (also available on a lot of other consoles, Recently the Ps4)

simon, trevor, richter, alucard, hector, armor knight and sypha are all playable cosmetic outfits.
simon you get from the camilla secret in your first visit to the castle.
trevor and sypha are in the throne room secret,
armor and hector are drops from the armor and werewolf enemies respectively
alucard you get just before fighting dracula.
richter is aquired through a secret in the true dracula castle route (yes there are TWO versions of draculas castle. one approached from the start of the game and one you need to approach from the clock room boss, and yes it does matter which version you go to going from the outskirts will ALWAYS force you to fight death and no medusa fight). far right side of the castle where you saved him before. going back there and interracting with his cage opens a special area where you play as richter, annoyingly belmont stiffness and all (arguably the worst richter has ever played.... booo!) but it's short and easy enough. beating the medusa in that instance nets the richter costume. and going to a secret area in the upper-right portion of that area is where you get alucards sword (yes, in the richter mode version only)

SPOILER:
Go back to Richter's cage in Dracula's second castle in another run after you freed him to unlock a game mode where you actually play as him, whip and all. You can find a blueprint for Alucard's Sword in the minigame and beating it unlocks Richter's costume.
