Gas Stoves: If you have a gas stove, extra caution is needed. Gas lines should be fully turned off and disconnected if possible to prevent any risk of gas leaks or ignition of fumes by pilot lights or sparks.

Crazy, I saw an ad on Craigslist for a gas stove (white) . Then wondered if it could be painted and did the google thing and there you were! Now, I could easily buy a new stove but my frugal side has kicked in big time as I age. Growing up on a farm in the Dakotas "new" was something we didn't do. Love your energy and budget friendly DIY projects. Thanks for the idea and I wish you all the best.
Looks great! That clock was a nice touch, and I LOVE the design choice of the stainless steal-look door with the black range top. I really like that you included what DIDN'T work in this video as well. that's so helpful for us DIYers.
I did the similar process on my stove, I found the key is many coats of paint. I think I did 5 of high heat black and it’s been holding up so far. I ordered new knobs and like you none of the colored adaptors fit. I tried 3 manufacturers and none worked. Had to alter them quite a lot to work. Nice job. Btw. I did the same backsplash stone look as well. I love that part and it was easy to do. Good luck with the rest. I finished mine but didn’t video all of it, maybe I should have since I learned a lot of little tricks to help me achieve what I wanted as a renter. May when I do my bathrooms I’ll record it. Side note: My landlord flipped, in a good way. Wants to do what I did in all the units in my building. Anyway, keep on rockin…
My landlord just bought the UGLIEST basic white stove. A complete eyesore in my kitchen. This video gives me some hope. Beautiful transformation. Hope I can do the same for my current pos oven.
Girl!!!!! I thank you for this. I have an older stove but it has so much sentimental value I don't want to get rid of it until I absolutely have to. I've changed the polite light two or three times.😂 I bought it from my landlords when I first moved in. 13 years later I was able to buy the house after he and his wife passed away. He was a very good person. So I gotta keep my stove as long as I can. I've cooked many of meals on this stove.😂
@@Drippd_in_hon3y from what I know from another channel it works on your car too is you for scratches . You can take alcohol and coconut oil and it takes the scratch off . But , if you add acetone you can take all the paint off . Also what she did with her bathroom you can get a better form of contact paper for the cabinets in kitchen. And do the flooring. You can even do your countertops as well.
If u do this Rust-Oleum sells the high heat black paint used for grills never use anything else !!! Your oven can turn into a giant oil enamel

You should make a video when you turn the apartment back to how it was when you’re ready to move.

Did you unhook the gas? I thought spray paint is highly flammable.

I NEED to know if it held up! Generally they say you can ONLY use heat resistant paint on stove tops not just regular paint!
