I saw a good tip. Start painting the BACK of all cabinet doors, let dry and flip over so that the last is the face to be painted so you don’t have to lay the face down on any wood or other surface, that can damage or chip the face of the cabinets.

Nice work! I don’t have a right angle drill adapter so when trying to unscrew something at an odd angle I use a socket wrench and have found that my phillips head bits (single sided, not the double sided bits containing phillips/flathead options) will fit snug within a 10mm or 11mm socket.

Good job brother I like this color. Two quick tips...One, always pour paint using the back side of can so it doesn't get paint on the front where it tells you what product it is. Two, paint back first then front of door cabinet/drawer

There's really no reason to get any paint down the side of the tin if you're careful. At worst wipe it quickly off with a brush...

Love this color! Almost finished with my kitchen cabinets. Dont know why i waited so long to do it. Used powder tsp and wore gloves. Water turned black from cleaning. Applied one coat tinted primer, two coats paint. Dont let lazy paint guy tell you he cant tint primer. This is so easy and seems like solid paint job.

Word to the wise...the guy doesnt use gloves with TSP, so he may or may not know wtf he's talking about. For instance, i bet if you watch other how-to instructables, they'll recommend a paint that does require a primer for surfaces that will endure as much cleaning as kitchen cupboards will need.

I just did this on my bar cabinets. Used Sherwin Williams enamel for trim. High end stuff. 2 coats each side. Took a full week to finish. Very good coverage. You can barely see the grain. It gives it a bit of texture but looks great. I'm far from a pro but it wasn't bad. You may want to use paint tripods.

I plan to tackle this project in my kitchen but what I do NOT like is most content creators do not give you a very close view of the final finish. Yes, everything looks great at a distance but many of us wish to see the close uo to gauge how smooth they are, wood grain showing or not and how much etc. The same premise as the makeup tutorials. Yes you look good on video and far away but close up that beautiful makeup looks like spackling putty on your face.

That’s what the tsp substitute was for basically if I’m not wrong. You could also use what they call liquid sandpaper. It’s basically paint stripper but it’s diluted so it just basically roughens the surface for the paint to adhere well.
