I have the same one. Unfortunately, it sometimes returns errors that are incorrect. I mean there there is an error, but the code is incorrect, e.g. it points to a module that is not even in the car and never was. Also you won't be able to do gearbox adaptations as the display is too small to display all parts of the interface. It is nice that it has option to do SCN coding but unfortunately without the ability to flash modules it is kind of useless. This version doesn't even support external storage. A cool gadget for monitoring the condition of your car, but the advanced options are quite underdeveloped, at least in the Mercedes Benz version. It's nice that the manufacturer releases updates and there is a feedback system but Im not sure if it even works.
Edit: 4/5/24. This scanner when I first received it wouldn’t do the things that it advertised. Example the door lock actuator on the passenger side of my W164 stopped working. I couldn’t get the scanner to actually show if it was receiving power or actuate the other three operating doors. Now since the update it is working as expected. Reports are ok, it’s not a Star system but you’re not paying $15K for it. The battery is crap for inside coding, also the Wi-Fi doesn’t work well so connect it to your phone via hotspot and it will work fine. It will not do other things more expensive Lauch scanners can but with the recent updates to the firmware and Mercedes software at least it seems to be doing what they advertised and worth the price. You will have to do some research after DTC codes. Recommend going to Benz forum and asking someone w/ a Star system to send you step by step diagnostics and repair. Just my 2 cents.
Yes. It is a pretty good scanner, particularly for the money. And sure the more expensive scanners will do more, but for the average DIY guy, this will get the job done. I personally have 4 different scanners.
Just bought one of these as I'm having a dpf issue and while I'm waiting for it to arrive wanted to check out some vids about it ready for putting on my Merc! This vid is fantastic thank you!
keep it under the seat or in the glove-box not in the trunk, because if you need it to open the truck you are stuck: It happened after a battery failure in a W204 requesting some reset after exchange. The trunk would not open, luckily the scanner was at home and not in the trunk.....
You can use the hard key to open the car door. Then open the hood. Then attach a battery tender to the jump points. Now with the system powered, open the trunk.
Was all the preparation required done before use as shown in this video? With some of them an account has to be opened and other info provided which can be a real OITA if it does not all go smoothly.

Good question. My Mercedes does not have the hydraulic suspension. I just have coil over struts so I can’t test this. It does state that it has special functions for air suspension.
Hi, if you expect the "Rodeo" test to be triggered, it should be able to do it, although I don't know this scanner model, but even very simple scanners trigger the rodeo function. However, if you want to go through the ABC suspension calibration, forget about it without SDS, because even the most advanced Autels are not able to complete it and get stuck halfway through. I won a few bets with lovers of Chinese products who thought their equipment could do more than it actually could. 😉 I myself have two car models with ABC, i.e. CL55 AMG 360 and 500 HP, and I have not yet come across a Chinese shoddy scanner or supposedly full professional (even if it is very advanced, it is still a more or less successful copy of something) that was able to complete the ABC suspension calibration procedure. over 15 videos various scanners yet NOBODY WILL SHOW YOU IF THE SCANNER DOES THE ABC RODEO TEST AND SUSPENSION,,,,,,,,, HOWEVER THANKS!!!!! this just finalized my decision to do a complete Coil over job and junk that entire ABC system.
Hi, it ended so sadly, because unfortunately most "experts" have no idea about the ABC system, which is more the Angel of fear than death as some call it. As I mentioned in a reply to another post, I have two models with ABC, and I politely service dozens of others, and it is a great system, but you have to take care of it. If you replaced it with Yellow Speed racing coilover suspension, that's a good solution, because if it's Strutmasters, I sympathize. Best Regards
@@depdoc Some of their ads are deceptive. Their pictures appear that you will receive an item but it turns out it's something different. Their garden shovel comes without the handle. You can get handles from TEMU. Look on Google for the Launch and they show other makes covered.

Yes, it does seem to be somewhat between a basic OBD II and a full function analyzer. It's cheap and good for the "quick and dirty".

Yes. It is good up to current models. As new models come out, updates are free.
